A high-rating resuming run in Sydney sees Mascaret well placed when she heads north for Saturday’s Eagle Farm meeting.

Chris Waller's mare chased well when she resumed two weeks ago at Rosehill and was only beaten 1.7 lengths into fifth.

Mascaret will be fitter for that hitout and is suited stepping up to a distance where she is proven.

She gets James Orman aboard on Saturday and looks tough to beat.

Second-up specialist The Ritz offers each way value later on the program.

The six-year-old settled well back from a wide draw but wound up strongly to finish 2.5L away when resuming over 1400m in the Magic Millions Cup.

He has won four of five attempts when second up so expect he'll be improved.
