Down sharply in class and looks to have genuine winning prospects. CHARMED DESTINY (1) placed once from three attempts this trip and jumps in trip today after running seventh over 1250m at this track on October 20. Quick back up suits and can turn things around here. GREY AT THE READY (4) looked good three back at Scone but has struggled since. Got a long way back when a plugging seventh over 1850m at Newcastle on October 17. Trained on the track and this looks much easier. Place prospects best.
RACE 2 - STELLA SIMONE (10) nine start maiden who looks close to a victory after ranging up late when a sound second over 1400m at Tamworth on October 13. Penza back aboard today and has placed over the mile. Solid top-three contender. DETORON (6) kept fresh when returned with a gritty third over 1400m at Hawkesbury on October 8. Extra trip suits and look for him late from the gate. INCENDIO (4) much better run at start two when sat on the pace for a tough second over 1300m at Scone on October 16. Likely improver who just needs a bit of luck from the sticky draw. ICONIC ICON (3) Sara Ryan trained gelding who ran a much better race at start four when a close-up fifth over 1400m at Hawkesbury on October 8. Stable in form and this much easier.
RACE 3 - THEDAYTHEMUSICDIED (7) is a locally trained maiden who raced without luck last time in. Resumes today after running on late when fourth over 1262m at this track on July 6. Looked strong when a recent 1000m trial winner at Taree on October 20. Will take holding out. WORKING CAPITAL (5) has finished in the minor money at five of his eight starts. Ran a solid third from the awkward gate last time over 1000m at this track on October 20. Good draw will see him take plenty of stopping. SCUD (12) handy filly also ready to break her maiden status. Sat on a good tempo when second over 1000m at this track on October 20. Hard fit for this and will need a good ride from the gate. OUR PAPPY (2) resumes after a sound debut run when fifth over 1000m at Port Macquarie on May 16. Looks to have ability and resumes without a trial. Has place claims.
RACE 4 - WATERWORLD (4) racing at his peak now and will find this easier from the inside gate after tiring late when fifth over 1000m at Kembla Grange on October 7. In astute stable and no excuses here. BEAR'S A STAR (9) progressive gelding with the handy record of a win and placing from two runs. Resumes today after proving too sharp for his rivals over 1007m at this track on May 22. Expected to play a leading role with the claim from the good gate. GERETY (11) lightly raced Capitalist filly with upside. Showed a stack of ability last time in and far from disgraced when resumed with a plugging sixth over 1000m at Muswellbrook on October 2. Placed second up and has genuine winning prospects. SHREVE (13) recent runs hardly excite but expecting more today from a better gate. Placed three back and drops in weight for this.
RACE 5 - KILLZY (7) jumped in trip and grade when ran fifth to the handy KONING over 1850m at Newcastle in C1 company on October 17. Ran second here two back and brings the right figures for this over the mile. Can feature prominently. CURRACABUNDI (6) wins are rare but did enough at latest when fourth over 1600m here in C3 company on October 20. A repeat showing will see her take stopping. DUBLE MEMORY (2) both wins have come over the 1600m and indicated a win was imminent when strong late to run fourth over 1400m at Scone on October 16. This much easier and gets every chance from the draw. SHADES OF FRISCO (9) had no luck again from the wide gate when a plugging sixth at this track over 1300m on October 6. Placed over the trip and drawn to stalk the speed.
RACE 6 - GOLDEN BREEZE (6) racing in career best form and chasing his third win from four starts today. Saved plenty of ground along the inside when a dominant 1.5 len winner over 1250m at this track on October 6. Will handle the class rise and can win again. WILKSHIRE (8) has been a model of consistency this time in and looks hard to hold out again after scoring a soft 1.3 len win over 1200m at Nowra on October 15. Sticky gate no help but gets weight relief with the claim. Expected to take a hand in the finish. HEIR APPARENT (5) started hard in the market ($3.60 fav) when a disappointing eleventh over 1200m at Coffs Harbour in similar company on October 13. Go on recent runs when assessing his chances. MR TABASCO (2) goes well this track and trip and not a bad run when knocked up late to finish fourth over 1200m at Coffs Harbour on October 13. Can win this if he gets the right run.
RACE 7 - SUSSU (4) tough mare who races best with her runs spaced. Expected to sit off the good tempo today with the claim after running second over 1000m at Dubbo on September 29. Looks the one to beat. ADAMDEEANT (5) two runs back have been full of merit and brings excellent figures this track and trip. Back in grade after finishing a close second over 1000m at this track in Open grade on October 6. Claim helps again and gets the right run. Go close. SHARKIM (6) resumes today and brings solid fresh figures. Has a tidy record over this course and distance and looked forward when a recent trial winner over 800m at Gosford on October 11. Can play a leading role. DONNA'S DAY (7) won four from eight in Tasmania but has struggled since. Fitter after two runs back and won third up in the past. Can sneak into the minor money on best form.
