RACE 1 - Competitive. SPILL THE SECRET (3) won the 62 here over a sprint and the in-form Stanley stays aboard. Has placed this grade at Eagle Farm over a mile so the extra metres shouldn't bother. A decent chance to repeat. TEA LEAVES (1) needed the first-up run and will be much more competitive over the 1675m. Draws handy and a 2kg claimer goes on. I AM GOOD AT THIS (2) had no luck at Randwick in better grade and the form prior reads well. In good hands and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. ALERT AND READY (7) gets in light and is also going well enough to consider.

RACE 2 - PALACE KEYS (3) is speedy and has switched from a Victorian barn on a 60 return. Led and won a Warrnambool Maiden by 4L two back and is well placed with the 3kg claim. An each-way chance. CHAKRA BOY (5) led for the first time and walloped the Maidens here by 3.3L over this trip. Was bet into prohibitive odds and looks capable of taking the next step. STORY OF STELLA (4) was good first-up from the front following the switch from Victoria. Is right up to this at best but she needs a little luck skipping over from a wide gate. SZABO (10) has been plainer the last two but the form prior would see her in the finish.

RACE 3 - ZIMO (5) resumes for a top metro barn off a run in Stakes grade. Has trialled at Eagle Farm and went close at Warwick Farm his only fresh outing. Has been gelded and will be naturally improved. Thornton sticks from the trial and a bold effort is likely. LADY SHOTGUN (9) was close-up here before being outgraded at Doomben and forget. Peaks now and Cahill is reunited. She can get back on track. BREMERHAVEN (6) is in the top barn and needed the first-up outing. Thompson sticks and quick improvement is likely. HEROIC SOPHIE (7) resumed on solid order and has plenty up the sleeve. Goes into the trifectas at least.

RACE 4 - OCEAN HONOUR (3) peaks and will find this easier than Doomben. Missed a whisker here prior this trip in a strong form race and can take this out with average luck from an awkward barrier. MORE TROUBLE (10) wasn't far away first-up and has more to give. Draws handy and fitter has to be kept onside. A talented stablemate has been scratched. BETTER BE SLICK (5) is an improver and the blinkers are applied the first time. In the mix. MIGHTY JUDD (9) resumes off an easy trial win. Will race over further but has ability and Stanley is a positive jockey booking. Keep onside.

RACE 5 - HOTSTEP (6) has been knocking on the door and has some weight relief. Thompson is a key jockey switch and he gets another chance. TEXAS STORM (4) comes just missed last time and is busting to win. Keeps the handy 2kg claim but draws awkwardly and needs some luck pushing forward. SILVER WARRIOR (1) can improve on the solid effort at Eagle Farm in stronger. Draws low and performs third-up. CHIEF ARTIE (5) is in good hands and will be a lot more competitive today. Will enjoy a soft run and can't be ruled out.

RACE 6 - SLEIGH QUEEN (5) resumed for the Neasham barn at the Sunshine Coast with a 1.4L defeat and 3 winners have come out of that. Performs second-up and has plenty up the sleeve. Fitter and will take beating. THEGIRLSGOTTHIS (8) is an improver in the premier barn. Seeks the hat-trick off heavily-bet country wins and can skip over and ride the speed. Harder but she has upside. SELLING SUNSET (2) wasn't far away here in a 70 and then was slow to begin at Eagle Farm. Comes back in grade off those with a handy 2kg claim and can make the finish. SPILLIFY (9) gets some weight relief and Thompson and can show more third-up.

RACE 7 - PACIFIC ATLANTIC (1) resumes and has switched from a Victorian barn on a 180-day return. Has plenty of gate speed and can clear the wide barrier. Is good enough and performs fresh. The 3kg claim brings him right into it. ISLAND TIDE (6) was a big maiden winner and is in good hands. Has turned the corner and a repeat won't surprise. MIXED SPICE (9) resumes for the Page yard and has shown enough to feature. Goes fresh and can secure a soft run in transit. Deserves plenty of consideration. RAFALE JOLIE (12) keeps improving and can skip over to the speed. Fitter and in the mix as well.
