RACE 1 - MISHANI EGO (8) is close to a win having placed in both runs. Pushed forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 1000m at Eagle Farm. Can take the next step and salute. ROCKRATA (6) tackled city class latest when fourth at Doomben, finishing 1.8 lengths from the winner. Hasn't been far away in the last two runs. Likely to run well. HEAD CASE (2) is a son of Headwater on debut for the Tony Newing yard. Showed ability when a close second in a trial at Eagle Farm. Expect a strong showing. Rothesay gelding RIVER ROGUE (5) also trialled well and the inside draw is an advantage to a debutant.

RACE 2 - TARGETED (1) made an encouraging debut when beaten a neck into second at this track and distance. Will benefit from that experience so expect he will be hard to beat. JOJO RABBIT (9) is a son of Russian Revolution on debut for the O'Dea/Hoysted yard. Has shown ability in winning both trials so expect a strong showing. Pariah gelding SLIPPIN' JIMMY (5) hails from the yard of leading trainer David Vandyke and Ryan Maloney rides. The inside draw is an aid to a debutant so keep him safe along with Supido filly MODISTE (11) who debuts off a trial placing.

RACE 3 - CHASETON (3) resumes off a brief maiden campaign and was last seen beaten 4 lengths in stronger company over 1400m at Eagle Farm. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Stuart Kendrick and is proven fresh so can make his presence felt. SIX SIDES (6) is back at the races for the first time since August 5. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep and has a good record at this track. Comes here with definite claims. CHIKARA (4) was racing well before the spell and his best results have come at this track and trip. Go well. IRISH MAUDIE (9) was was well fancied and justified the support when resuming at this course and distance, scoring by a nose. Owns a good second-up record so could go on with it.

RACE 4 - ACES UP (5) is another with the hoof on the till having placed the last two times he attempted maiden grade, the latest at Doomben. Draws wide but gets Maloney on. ANEMACORE (1) was an eye catcher when running on to miss by a nose on debut over 1400m at this track. Improver who looks suited by the longer trip. Big threat. OUR DRUMMER (4) started favourite last time out over 1200m at Ipswich but found one better, making it three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Overdue for a win and is a player. SON OF SATONO (9) is the next in line.

RACE 5 - SIZZLING GAL (3) hasn't been beaten far when closing well in higher-graded races in her last two outings and had finished runner up in her previous two runs at this track. Could take closer order from this draw go gets her chance. BRAVE MASO (6) kicked off the campaign with three successive placings before she was beaten 1.8 lengths into fourth at Doomben last time. Race fit so could give this a mighty shake. ULTIMATE OUTCOME (12) improved and got close here last start. Can progress further third up. BRAZEN IMPACT (7) will be race fit third up so could get into the finish.

RACE 6 - BIAS (2) is ready to win after leading and kicking on for close seconds in his last two outings at this course, last time beaten a long neck over 1600m. Ticking along nicely and gets his chance to deliver. BIG TICKET BOY (3) was a winner here two back then worked home to be beaten 1.4L over 1600m here last time so may appreciate the longer trip. Major player. FAT FINGERS (7) closed off strongly last start for third, beaten 0.6 lengths over 1600m at this track. Solid prospects. BEDFORD SQUARE (1) comes back in grade on recent attempts so can make an impact.
