RACE 1 - BLAZING EMERALD (9) will be fitter for two trials coming in as she looks to kick start her 3YO season with what looks an easy kill. Spent her first campaign in town, being tried in much tougher races than this. Can round these up and secure her maiden victory. DE LA BEAUTE (3) has had a few cracks at breaking her maiden, but was very good last start at Bunbury over 1108m. Fitter again third-up and although the wide draw is some concern, she can race her way into the finish. MISS FLIRTACIOUS (7) just missed first-up at Northam in a tougher race than this, tiring late to finish 1.3L off the winner. Was long odds there but outperformed her market expectation and a repeat effort will see her about the finish. CANGGU (5) disappointed his WA debut but gets the blinkers on now and a drop in trip. Can improve. HOTLIPS LILL (10) can work into the placings on best form.

RACE 2 - LIEN HYPHEN (11) was only 1.3L away at Northam last time out in a tougher race than this, beating some rivals she will face again today. Barrier is some concern, but she usually rolls forward and makes her own luck. Well placed here and can bring up her first win. DOUBLE SNIP (4) rattled home on debut before a sound effort at Ascot last time out, stepping out in trip once again. Michael Poy's striking at 10% from his last 50 rides and with the winkers on first time, he'll take plenty of catching. ITS A LOVE STORY (1) went under as favourite at Collie but is better than he showed there. Keep safe. BONNIE THE RULER (12) has run some good races at this level and is worth including.

RACE 3 - MONEY FOR OLD ROPE (1) absolutely bolted in at Collie last time out and was scratched from last week to run here. This race is easier than what he raced in last time out and carries the same weight after the claim of Johnston-Porter. Hard to ignore that last start and can get the job done again. KOLCHINO (6) drops back sharply in trip after a 36-day freshen but this is a much easier race than he's been contesting. Can run over the top of them late if they overdo it up front. FLOAT OUR BOAT (5) resumes with one trial under his belt and spent much of last campaign running around in much tougher company. Can settle in a nice spot in running and race into the placings. GINGER SENORITA (9) can race handy from an inside draw and won't be far away. JOLLY ODD (3) led all the way to win easily over 1300m here fresh and is not to be discounted.

RACE 4 - COCKTAIL PARTY (6) led and curled up last start at Ascot over 1400m and now meets a much easier grade this time around. She was much better two back and that form holds her in good stead in this event. Better than she showed last time out and can bounce back to winning form. MADAME PRO (5) stuck on fairly at Northam last time out and was good over 1200m here two starts ago. The inside draw sees her get every chance and she's sure to make her presence felt. TAK GOES BOOM (4) won her maiden well here three starts ago and he backed that up at Belmont, but put in a bad one last time out at Northam. Happy to put a line through that effort and assess him on prior form which suggests he's a winning chance in this. SATURNINA (8) just missed at 25-1 last start in Kalgoorlie and a repeat of that effort has her right in the thick of things. SUNPLAY (10) can be thereabouts on best form.

RACE 5 - RISING COMMODITY (3) won well here two starts ago when running on from the rear and winning in this grade before finishing well back at Ascot. Can get a nice run from the draw for the in-form Holly Watson and take plenty of beating. EYE OPENER (5) comes back off a midweek Class 1 at Ascot into what looks a suitable event. His best form is good enough to match these rivals and his maiden win from Belmont earlier this campaign stacks right up. Sure to make his presence felt. ZAC LUVS TO FLY (4) has been back to the trials since a disappointing effort last time out. Back in trip off a freshen is some query, but her best form is much better than what his rivals have done recently. Not to be discounted with the 3kg claim. SILVER SAX (6) has been around the mark in tougher contests of late and can run into the finish. GOT YA (8) is in good form of late and is a must for exotics.

RACE 6 - SPREAD THE RUMOUR (9) held on to score in maiden company at Northam last time out and looks to have plenty of ability. Back in trip may suit him as he burns across from barrier 8. Will make his own luck and take plenty of catching. PACIFIC BOXER (1) has been ticking over nicely but finds a very suitable race this time. Knuckey has had plenty of success when riding and is sure to stick his nose into the finish. REACTION (2) won narrowly at Northam and that form is good enough to be getting into the finish today. THE ANVIL (4) next best.

RACE 7 - POWERFUL (2) just missed in the Kalgoorlie Cup when leading throughout and has been freshened since that effort. He was very good when winning at Canarvon prior and can make his own luck up front for Watson. He looks the one to beat. BANDALERA MISS (3) has been in great touch at Ascot her past couple, producing form that looks right up to winning a country cup. She drops in weight off the last start and would just have to replicate her recent form to be going very close to winning. GHOBELLA (6) just missed 15 days ago at Ascot in his best run for some time and now drops back in trip for the York Cup. The barrier is some concern, but he's right in the mix on his recent efforts. FEUDING (5) is on the quick back-up from Tuesday where he stuck on well, only beaten 1.9L. The quick return is the obvious niggle, but if he handles it well he's in with a chance. TONI'S SPIRIT (10) looks on the way up and finds the right race to return to the winners' stall.

RACE 8 - SMOKING BARREL (2) is an emergency for the York Cup but looks right up to winning this event on recent form. He narrowly missed over this course and distance 31 days ago and this looks to set up similarly albeit from a wider alley. Can salute for the first time since May. RIDING HOOD FAME (10) didn't finish too far away when beaten 2.4L at Ascot last time out and comes back to a much, much easier event. The inside draw can see her sit closer and with any luck she'll be proving tough to beat. DIVINE JUDGEMENT (3) is searching for the hat-trick after winning in this grade and at this course last time out. He takes the step out to 1920m for the first time but still may have improvement to come being lightly raced. Can win without surprising. MONG KHON (4) is usually around the mark and can take plenty of catching from the front. BIG RED HAWK (7) wasn't far away at Ascot last time out and has claims.
