RACE 1 - DETORON (7) close to her peak now and drops 2kg in weight after running on late when third over 1614m at Taree on October 29. Expected to figure prominently today. WILD CALM (1) racing well in tougher company but had no luck with the barriers at her last two runs. At her top now after motoring late when second start over 1600m at Gosford. Will take plenty of stopping. TELL ME MA (10) back in trip when a plugging seventh over 1900m at Gosford a week-and-a-half ago. Can sneak into the minor money. SUPERCRISP (5) maiden galloper yet to fill a placing in three runs. Not far away last time when beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth over 1300m at Newcastle. Promising signs last time and could sneak into the money.
RACE 2 - PRINCESS CRUIZER (4) is holding form well and back in grade after running on late when fourth over 1600m at Gosford on November 2. Placed this track and looks hard to hold out. KILLZY (6) only the one win from 18 starts and placed twice this trip. Started hard in the market ($2.60 fav) when hit the line well to secure second at Taree over the 1614m on October 29. Best figures have him right in this. Value runner. FIRST SECRET (8) got the prize two back over this trip at Mudgee on September 30. Kept fresh and back in distance when a tiring 12th over 1280m at Muswellbrook on October 23. This is her pet trip and improvement is expected. Each-way. PRESS THE PEDAL (3) recent form has been solid in easier company. Tougher this time but has claims.
RACE 3 - TWILIGHT ROCK (4) is a six-start maiden who shouldn't be a maiden for much longer. Nice return when battled away with the 57kg when fourth over 1200m at this track on October 27. Trained on the track and should prove too sharp for these. I AM CONVINCING (2) was a new acquisition for the Scott Singleton stable when came out of a strong race to finish third over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle) on October 30. Claim helps again and watch for him late. POWER TO DECEIVE (3) big drifter in betting when resumed with a plugging third over 1280m at Muswellbrook on October 23. Can sneak into the minor money. ARE YOU JOKING (5) is a well-bred Shalaa gelding who made an encouraging debut for the Messara/Gavranich yard when third at this track over 1000m on October 27. Morgan keeps the ride and will need luck from the awkward draw.
RACE 4 - HACHIMAN (4) appreciated the big drop in grade when a commanding 1.3 len winner over 1100m at Bathurst on October 27. Finds a fairly weak C1 and can continue on his winning ways here from the good gate. MR TRACKSIDE (3) has a fitness edge over the bulk of these and will find this easier after drifting back on the tight track when sixth over 1200m at Gosford on October 26. This easier and look for him motoring late. WATERWORLD (2) only the one win from 13 starts and indicated a win was imminent when hit the line strongly with 59.5kg to run second over 900m at this track. In leading stable and sure to be thereabouts. SUNDAY BELL (8) raced with mixed success this time in. Had to work hard from the wide gate and the early effort took its toll when seventh over 1000m at Muswellbrook on November 5. Quick back-up suits.
RACE 5 - FINE VINTAGE (8) chasing his fourth straight victory today and up sharply in class. Led throughout for a commanding 4 len victory over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle) on September 26. Keeps raising the bar and no shock to see him win again. CRIPPS TONITE (4) racing in a rich vein of form this time in winning two from three over this distance. Returned good figures from the wide draw when a tough 0.8 len win over this track and trip on October 27. Looks one of the hardest to beat again. VERY SHARP (1) smart mare with excellent figures this track and trip. Drifted back again with the 61kg when a plugging fifth over 1100m here on October 27. Expected to take a hand in the finish. SCARZEL (3) scored two back at Coonabarabran then just missed last time when third over 900m at Muswellbrook. Should be in the finish.
RACE 6 - DIRTY MERCHANT (1) close to his top now and going nicely through his grades. Sat off the pace and launched late with a strong victory over 1200m at Coonabarabran on October 22. Has won this trip and can make it back-to-back wins. POINT BASSE (3) is a progressive I Am Invincible entire going nicely through his grades. Had the race won a long way out when a 2.5 len victor over 1300m at this track in C1 grade on September 22. Expected to make a real race of it despite being up in class and drawing out. THE DENZEL (2) disappointed as fav second-up when a tiring seventh over 1400m at this track on October 16. Look for a much better run from the inside gate. BAKERLOO (6) starting to put it all together now and chasing her third straight victory today. Taken back from the outside gate and rounded them up when a head winner over 1350m at Beaumont (Newcastle) last time out. Can take a hand in the finish.
RACE 7 - NEBRASKAN (5) smart Snitzel gelding who led all the way on debut for a slick victory over 1000m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Held in high regard by the stable and looks destined for better things. COOL RULER (9) races with her runs spaced and mixing her form of late. Winning rider back on today after drifting out of her ground when eighth over 1000m at Tamworth on October 13. Expecting a better showing here. ULTRA WHITE (7) drops in trip and weight after finishing seventh in a strong race last start over 1300m at Bathurst behind XEIBY on October 27. Look for her motoring late. ELENI (6) back in grade when a much better run to secure sixth over 900m here on October 16. Best form can see her take a hand in the finish.
