RACE 1 - PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (10) has the hoof on the till having been in the placings at her last two starts, leading and sticking on for second over a similar trip at this track last time. Draws wider but with further progression likely she can go one better. PAIRING (2) appreciated the step up to the mile last start and worked home to miss by just a nose when second at Sunshine Coast last start. A win looks imminent. MANNERHEIM (3) produced a nice effort on debut last start when he settled back but worked home to place over 1350m at this track. Open to improvement and the longer trip should suit. PUCCINI DREAM (8) has been consistent and is another that should enjoy the mile after running on last start.

RACE 2 - MARGOT'S BULLSEYE (11) was midfield as a hot favourite last start at Eagle Farm but chased okay late to suggest she may be looking for this longer trip. Runner up at this track in her second outing two back so is worth another chance. PRESS LINK (5) is a son of Press Statement on debut for Robert Heathcote. Placed in a city trial and all of his siblings to have raced have won including a stakes placegetter. Expect a strong showing. LION'S PRIDE (4) progressed nicely at his second outing when one length from the winner in third over this trip at Sunshine Coast. Can progress further. IMPENDOR (3) settled back on debut but wound up strongly for second over 1000m at Eagle Farm so the longer journey should suit.

RACE 3 - CERTAINLYCAN (9) has raced just once when she ran on to place in the Listed Bill Carter Stakes at this track and trip six months ago. Likely to have developed with maturity and was sharpened for this with a placing in a recent trial. Strong claims. BEAUTANTES (1) has placed in his two outings so far and a trial win will have him ready for a strong return. There was plenty to like about the debut effort of JONNY DA WOLF (3) when he kept chasing to place at Eagle Farm. Should enjoy the extra 200m. BETTERLETMEDANCE (7) will be fitter for the resuming second and is lightly raced with upside.

RACE 4 - BURNT BY BERNIE (1) pushed forward to lead when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 0.8 lengths away in second over 1300m at Sunshine Coast. Fitter and suited up to a distance where he is proven. Top chance. NEVER GIVE UP (2) came from well back score narrowly last time out over 1400m at Sunshine Coast. Race fit and suited up in trip so should be winding up late again. PORKY (5) was an easy Toowoomba winner two back then led over 1710m at Ipswich last time and stuck on for second. Can feature again. HAPPISBURGH (7) is hard to knock with two wins and two placings from his last four outings. Must respect.

RACE 5 - DRIALLE (1) switches from NSW where he was placed two back at Wyong. Now with Barry Lockwood and has been readied with a trial placing. Nicely drawn to make an impact. Scott Morrissey's I Am Invincible mare LENNIC (7) made a big impression when easily winning a trial at Beaudesert by 6.5L. Must be considered a winning hope off that performance. Divine Prophet filly ROSE NOIR (10) is on debut for leading trainer Tony Gollan and she too will be ready to fire having won a trial at Deagon. ROCK LOBSTER (12) kept chasing when resuming at Sunshine Coast and is open to improvement with the aid of the inside stall.

RACE 6 - CASROCK (12) hasn't been far from the placegetters in two runs since scoring over 1200m at Ipswich. In the money at each of her runs over this longer journey and is drawn to get the favours. EVOCATOR (6) has been hitting the line well of late, just missing by a nose last time at Eagle Farm after winning at that same venue three back. Look for him late. THANKFUL HEART (13) boxed on okay here last start to follow a win at Ipswich. Maloney goes on. Contender. COMMANDMENT (9) lifted her rating last start when 1.8 lengths away at this track and trip. Has two wins and a placing from three third-up attempts so can peak today.

RACE 7 - THE LIONS' GATE (8) worked home well to place when resuming over 1200m at Eagle Farm last start. He'll be improved by that hit out and is suited returning to a venue where he won his only previous visit. JOHN RAMBO (2) showed ability in his maiden campaign, winning two of four runs. Is lightly raced with upside and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. A LOT OF BOOTY (5) is going well with placings in both runs since a maiden win and is drawn to get the favours. MARTEDI (13) didn't miss a place at the maiden campaign so keep safe fresh.

RACE 8 - SNOW BOUM (14) returned from a break with a 1.7L fourth, winding up late at the end of 1000m at Sunshine Coast after settling well back. Fitter and the longer trip suits so could prove hard to hold out this time. THAT'S ALL GOOD (9) hit the line hard to be beaten less than a length when resuming 1200m at Sunshine Coast after settling near the tail. Lightly-raced and has upside. SET TO SHINE (5) did her best work late and finished 0.9 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over this trip at Eagle Farm. Has a win and a placing from two attempts here. Player. SHORE TO HAPPEN (12) won on debut and was on the heels off the placegetters last time. Respect.
