RACE 1 - SOCIAL DANCER (7) finds the maiden win elusive but it certainly hasn't been without trying, placing in 3/5. Has been thereabouts in her two runs back and strips fitter. Ready to shed the tag. GILDED LADY (5) has hit the ground running but is yet to land the winning blow. Open to further improvement and should be figuring prominently. DIAMENTE TAGLIATO (1) is a Headwater gelding stepping out on debut for Simon Drewitt. Has impressed at the trials and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claimer piloting. Can give this a big shake. ROLLING DUCK (6) next best.
RACE 2 - HOTFOOTIT (9) progressed nicely second up here despite finishing out of the placings, only beaten 0.6L in a blanket finish. Strips fitter and is drawn favourably. Ready to make a big impact. MY BOY JETT (6) found the line nicely last start to grab second here and make it consecutive minor minor placings. Doesn't need to improve much to be very competitive. NOORTOOMANY (11) wasn't far away fresh in what has proven to be a good form race but struggled to follow it up at the latest. Can improve sharply third up. LEVEE (2) is ticking along nicely this time in without winning. Don't dismiss.
RACE 3 - HIGHLAND ANGEL (11) worked home well to grab third at Morphettville Parks last start after getting off the mark here the start prior Will find this much easier and is sure to be very competitive. ORIEDOS (5) has been thereabouts this campaign but just struggles to put a full race together. Drawn well and shoulders a solid record on the home track. Can give this a big shake. PRANCING IBIS (12) made progress last time out when finishing in the placings at Gawler after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure prominently.
RACE 4 - I NEED A DRINK (1) wasn't able to bring up the hat-trick last start but still battled on gamely into a midfield finish against tougher opposition at Morphettville. Easier this time. Can bounce back. ENBARR (2) progressed nicely second up here when beaten a head. Open to further improvement at this stage of the prep. Can atone. MOUNT MADEIRA (3) was a barnstorming winner here two back in an impressive display. Failed to finish off last start at Morphettvile when tackling tougher opposition. Can bounce back in a big way. STREET CULTURE (6) has been well below his best of late but should find this easier. Not without claims on best efforts.
RACE 5 - MYOCEAN WARRIOR (1) was there to pounce when shooting to bring up the hat-trick but didn't find late. Will enjoy the drop in grade and talented hoop Kayla Crowther sticks. Can atone. HE'S ABEL (2) dug deep to close off into the placings when resuming here at the latest. Shoulders a handy record over this course and distance and is a likely improver. Bold showing anticipated. PRESCIENT (7) has been thereabouts in his three runs back, showing great early toe in all before being captured late. Strips fitter again and is drawn to advantage. Will prove tough to reel in for his rivals. CELESTIAL ILLUSION (8) next best.
RACE 6 - THE MASTER (11) stretched out nicely in the run home to score with a little in hand here at the latest. Strips fitter and will prove tough to stop with similar applied tactics. Leading player. SIR TOOP (5) was well below his best when resuming here last time. Is a second up winner that can put that disappointing effort behind him. Sharp improvement anticipated. CELERITATE REGEM (8) drove hard to get the verdict two back and managed to follow it up with a solid chase to the line at the latest. Open to further improvement at this stage of the prep. In the mix. MESSERSCHMITT (2) progressed nicely at the latest here when closing off strongly to the line, only to miss by a head. Hasn't won for a long time but warrants respect.
RACE 7 - AHSO (2) bounced back off a disappointing effort two back here with a solid chase into the placings at Morphettville. Rates highly on best figures and gets his chance to break a long run of outs. REALTIN (9) was below his best last time but had been ticking along nicely in his starts prior. The booking of Kayla Crowther is a good push for his chances. Better run anticipated. SINO WITNESS (4) didn't give his rivals a sniff here last start when leading pillar-to-post. Full of confidence now and there's no reason he can't go on with it.
RACE 8 - JAAZEB (2) continues to knock on the door but just struggles to bust through. Produced another solid effort here last start when just falling shy of the frame. Drawn well and only needs to hold his form to be very competitive. MCCAIN (3) never looked likely here last start when settling a mile back but did manage to warm to his task nicely in the run home. Can take closer order this time and gets significant weight relief. Better run expected. MIDNIGHT BRAWLER (1) resumes. Is yet to score fresh but rates highly on best figures and boasts a handy record over the track and trip. Drawn to advantage and should take some catching. STRAWBERRY SWING (5) is a course and distance specialist that is in good form. Worth plenty of thought.
