RACE 1 - UNCLE HARRY (4) has the best form around him and was a cheeky fifth at Group 3 level last time out so is suited with a big class drop. Clearly the one to beat. LASKARINA (8) is fitter now after three runs back from a spell and boxed on well at Kembla in the latest. Definite chance. ICEBREAKER (7) has been around the mark without winning and doesn't need to improve a lot to be in the finish. Worth keeping in mind. SHEMRAN (3) and RAPID IMPACT (2) are last start winners who have claims.

RACE 2 - RED COBRA (3) is hard to fault following a string of placings with a game win at this track. Up in class but always competitive and should go close. AVONVIEW (1) prevailed over this trip at Gosford last time in a tight finish. Honest type who will be on the speed and is one of the chances. SWEET DIXIE (5) is lightly raced and has upside and JUSTELA (4) drops in class and can improve.

RACE 3 - CHILLI FILLY (5) looked very smart with a soft maiden win on debut at Tuncurry. She's trialled well since then and if she can back up that first start she'll be hard to beat again. FLYING RANI (3) is another last start maiden winner and she did it in style at Gosford at her second start. Must be respected. MAZ KANATA (4) hasn't raced since an easy debut win at Nowra back in July. Resuming and while a bit harder here she's worth keeping safe. SMILING PROPHET (2) hasn't been far away while MOSHT UP (7) can improve if she strikes a wet track.

RACE 4 - VOMO ISLAND (5) has performed in stronger company than this and returns as a gelding. Winner of a recent trial and this is his chance to break through. CHIEF WITNESS (1) made a promising debut at Gosford and should appreciate the extra 100m. Expect him to be an improver. MATHKHOORA (9) has been disappointing to date but wasn't beaten far when resuming in the same race as Chief Witness. Bred to love a wet track so could lift sharply under those circumstances. ONE LAST SHOT (4) and HERE COMES HOGAN (2) are next best.

RACE 5 - JACK OF ACES (2) is lightly raced and has a couple of trials under his belt for a return. Found a nice race to return in and should run well. LOOK AT MOI KIM (8) ran her best race to date when runner-up behind a blueblood at Bathurst recently. One of the major chances. PRINCESS THALIA (3) hasn't raced for nine months and showed some ability with a debut placing. Not a strong race so keep her in mind. MEERUT (9) and FRUIT TINGLE (6) aren't out of the equation.

RACE 6 - BOJANGLES (3) has shown promise with fourths in both starts to date and returns for second preparation. Looks a nice race for him and he's a big chance. RUM DIARY (5) has had the benefit of a run under his belt and will be better for it. Has a wide gate to navigate but big threat. SIDENAY (2) has had a few chances but resumes in a suitable race and is capable of a cheeky run fresh. ZEEMA (12) can give a sight up front and big watch on first starter FRUITING HABIT (6).

RACE 7 - MISTY LEGEND (8) has shown talent and resumes as a gelding from a soft gate with two very nice trials under his belt. Clearly the horse to beat here. SOOBOOCO (5) was sound when resuming but forgive second-up effort at Randwick. Find this a lot easier and looks a major threat. OUTREACH TO HENRY (1) backed up his Highway placing with a strong win at Taree last time and can go well here. STENSON WALLMAN (6) has claims.

RACE 8 - WORLD ALLIANCE (3) is two from two and has trialled nicely enough since his first-up win. Naturally up in grade but done nothing wrong and must be respected. KADALL (6) was a beaten favourite when resuming in a similar race and did seem to have his chance. Fitter for it though and open to improvement. CALMER KARMA (4) is racing in super form and was too strong in a similar race last time. Hard to leave out of the chances. TAKARA STAR (8) and MY TRUTH (1) are worth considering.
