RACE 1 - HOT PUDDIN (11) has put the writing on the wall with the two threatening efforts at Bunbury. Has a handy 2kg claim and just needs average luck from the outside barrier to be winning. FRASERVIEW (9) resumes and has switched yards. Disappointed both starts his last preparation in stronger grade, but the recent trial win suggests he may be sorted out. Has a low gate and the extra gear comes off. FEROCIOUS FROST (12) came from the back to just miss here turning the form around. Peaks now and despite the wide gate is a chance on that effort. NOBLE INFLUENCE (13) needed the first-up outing in the same contest. His previous second-up effort was his best but the awkward gate also requires a good ride.

RACE 2 - MON CADEAU (1) peaks today and found more like his when best beaten 2.2L at Kalgoorlie. Has a wide gate to manage but is well-placed to be winning. DARE ME (11) raced forward and missed 1L here second-up. Deserves to break through and should have every chance. LET IT GO RUPERT (8) resumed and finished a lip behind the above in the same contest racing a short-priced favourite. Has a future but draws the car park and will need a clever Yuill ride. PARADISE STAR (12) resumed in the same race and finished it off well after settling rearward after a slow start. Draws an inside gate but needs to go with them.

RACE 3 - AL QUEPONE (2) disappointed two-back at Kalgoorlie but the form around that reads well. Impressed missing a lip here over 1100m his latest and he will get every chance from the handy gate. GINGER JONES (3) resumes and has switched barns. The speedy galloper brings strong from Belmont and the blinkers come off. Hasn't won for a long while but this suits. Running the 1200m right out is the query. MARKET STRYKE (5) resumes with a key gear switch. Goes fresh and races well at home. The recent Kalgoorlie form stacks up. NOBLE REFLECTION (4) went close resuming here in a touch easier. Will use the rails gate and has more to offer.

RACE 4 - BOOZEROO (2) won first up here over this distance as a $3 favourite. Brought strong form from Kalgoorlie and has more to give. Will race forward and can deliver again. LUCKY FOO FOO (8) found the grade a bit tough at Kalgoorlie 34 days ago but the form there prior reads well. Will push forward from the awkward barrier and can get back on track. BLAZING PASSION (3) resumed here in good order missing a lip in this grade. Was bet into a short quote and fitter will go close if the sticky gate is managed. BELLE'S FANTASY (5) will be better for the first-up placing in easier grade. Draws low and will be fitter. Has city figures that would see her very competitive.

RACE 5 - COUSIN NICCI (6) raced on speed and missed a whisker here first-up in much stronger. She can use the rail and keeps the handy 2kg claim. She has plenty up the sleeve and fitter is the one to beat. BORN AND BREAD (7) led and won the Maiden at Kalgoorlie and didn't quite finish it off here this grade. Has the early speed to manage the awkward barrier and can get into the finish. NITRO FRED (3) surprised the market winning the CL1 at Albany first up. Is back to his best and fitter won't have to improve much briefly freshened. Has an outside gate and that needs managing. CHARCOAL CHAOS (11) went close in the Born And Bread race on resumption and can build on that.

RACE 6 - MASTER ALEX (1) was plain here 13 days ago as a $3 favourite off better races. Vet clear. Wasn't beaten far at Ascot three-back over this distance. Has a senior hoop for the apprentice and is worth another chance. NO MORE DUST (13) got too far back here last time but threatened the three prior at Kalgoorlie. Has a key gear switch and should sit handier today. No surprise if she proves a threat. HEAR MY PRAYER (6) found one much too good at Kalgoorlie as a firm favourite and go on the decent effort there three back in stronger. Will push forward and has a handy 2kg claim. UNCOMPROMISED (3) would be competitive at best and can show more second-up.

RACE 7 - VEVINSKY (2) has been racing well enough at Ascot without winning. Finds a lot easier and has a handy 2kg claim. Coming back 200m shouldn't bother and has his chance to return to the winner's list. MY BOY CHRIS (1) has won two of his last three with the latest here in a CL5. Gets more weight but has a low barrier and the 1400m should hold no fears. FRANKIE BLUE EYES (3) is a lot better than the numerical form suggests. Was only beaten 1.2L behind the above and will be around the mark if things go his way. BRIGHID (7) has been freshened and has some gear changes. Is better than the numerical form suggests.
