RACE 1 - MURRAJONG ROAD (2) is a very consistent conveyance who has remarkably hit the top-five in 16 of his past 17 outings. Has won around this circuit and is racing with a lot of confidence. Draws the inside alley and rates the testing material against this lot. FLAMENCO ROSE (5) loves this distance range with a win and two placings from just three attempts and will be rock-hard fit for this. Looms as the main danger. BRAND NEW (6) doesn't win out of turn but has been thereabouts of late and can feature if he brings his A-game. RANGI TOA (3) placed over this journey two back and looks one for the multiples. TAVIS TOWN (1) next best.
RACE 2 - SUPER ROOSTER (10) has had a few chances but has placed at his past three outings and looks to be nearing that elusive maiden victory. Drawn to get across easily from gate two and should be right there when the whips are cracking. KLONDIKE STRIKE (8) has been thereabouts in both runs this campaign and will be near his peak now third-up from the spell. Stanley sticks in the irons and can play a role in the outcome. Former Victorian CITY PLAYBOY (3) has been in the mix in both local outings and strikes a winnable contest here. Top-three candidate. HOLY CROWN (4) was a touch plain at the latest effort but go on the good runner-up finish here when resuming. Worth another chance. SPIRIT OF HEATH (2) next best with Wiggins on top.
RACE 3 - MONDAY CHOICE (6) put in two handy runs here including one over this trip before being tipped out for time to furnish. Has since tuned up for this with a dominant trial victory and looks ready to shed the maiden tag. STEP TO SUCCESS (5) showed ability placing at Townsville when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Has to be included. AGNES WATERS (8) strips fitter second-up and may earn some minor money. BUTE MOVES (1) next in line while fresh.
RACE 4 - One for the babies. CATMISS (11) just missed the placings at Mackay on debut and will have derived a lot from that day at the races. Has plenty of upside and can play a major role in the outcome. LITTLE PINKER (9) only narrowly went down when facing the starter for the first time and gets the services of Collett in the irons. Clearly has talent and may measure up. TELEKI (6) showed glimpses of ability in his first campaign before being tipped out for time to mature. Can return in winning order. FRASER'S RIDGE (2) has gotten better every time he has stepped out to the races and looks one for the exotics players. OFFANGO (4) next in line on the back of a recent trial victory here.
RACE 5 - INVINOVICH (8) is an honest campaigner who has hit the top-four at his past nine starts and has placed over this journey. Strips fitter second-up and expecting a strong run. The penny has dropped for JUNGLE BEAT (2) who has strung three wins together on the bounce here and is racing with a lot of confidence. Cannot be discounted. BARNEY RABBLE (7) has been thereabouts in all four runs since joining the new stable and gets Wiggins back on. In the mix. DOUBTING EYE (6) is ready to make his return after enjoy a very successful time of it last campaign. Holds genuine claims and needs to be included.
RACE 6 - Former NSW galloper PARADE GROUND (1) was a touch plain at Newcastle last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. MISS DAURIAN (11) has placed over this track and trip and is another to draw low. Top-three contender. PRETTY SLICK (2) has a win and three placings from five attempts over this course and distance and may make her presence felt. DRAGON'S SNIP (3) fitter now and is worth some thought.
RACE 7 - HONKYTONK DIVA (3) grows a leg for Stanley who has three wins from just four steers and is racing with a lot of confidence. Saluted over this course and distance last time out and looks the one they all have to run down. FASTCONI (7) is knocking on the door of another victory with three consecutive runner-up finishes. In the mix again. MOMACK (5) and LETMELETGO (8) are next in line and hold claims on best efforts. Don't take lightly.
RACE 8 - It's hard to fault the form of TRACK TALE (2) who has only missed a drum once in 14 career starts and is racing in fine form. Has never missed the top-two here in eight outings and gets 1.5kg off from the favourable draw. Clearly the one to beat. EYEWITNESS (3) returned in good order with a solid placing at Mackay and has saluted when second-up before. In the mix. SPRING VALLEY (9) is better than recent efforts suggest and looks one for the multiples. HARBELLE (5) next best in a race with only a handful of chances.
RACE 9 - DIAMOND MONEY (11) has been racing very consistently this time in work and strikes a winnable contest here. Gets in well at the weights with the claim and will be rock-hard fit for this. Should prove hard to run down. LEICA BITA FUN (3) resumes here but has won first-up before and revved up for this with a recent local trial. Can run a race while fresh. MAXIE TAP (9) is a bit of a hit or miss type but may feature if he brings his A-game. GOLD WITNESS (2) hails from a handy family (half to G3 winner Bring The Ransom) and has placed two from three when racing second-up. Respect any market confidence. DAUNTING LADY (10) has won two of her past three and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate three. In the mix.
RACE 10 - The well-related PHOENIX FLYER (16) (half to G2 winner Bring Me Roses and G3 winner Face Value) has hit a purple patch of form of late with three wins and two placings from his past five outings and is yet to miss a place in four runs over this course and distance. Has to be included. ENUFF HE SAID (9) also hails from a handy family (half to 3xG3 winner Rich Hips) and got a confidence building win here at the latest effort. Top-three hope. UNDER THE CAP (11) is a three-time winner here, draws low and gets some weight off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. LE HEROS (14) best of the rest while fresh.
RACE 11 - CUMIN SPINNER (9) shed the maiden tag at Mackay last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Gets 1.5kg off with the claim from the favourable draw and should give backers a sight. GENERAL WOLFFE (7) has hit the frame here at his past three outings and is drawn to get a soft run from the inside marble. Capable of testing this field. REPLACE THE ACE (6) placed over this track and trip two back before narrowly going down at Mackay last start. Top-three conveyance. DESERT GRIT (12) is a bit hit or miss but can feature if he brings his A-game. The well-related STRUCK TWICE (1) (full to 2xG1 winner I'm Thunderstruck) strips fitter second-up from the break and may earn some minor money.
