RACE 1 - PELSAERT (3) had a tough run at Townsville last start and battled on bravely to finish fourth. He cost himself fresh up when racing greenly and should now be spot-on with his fitness third up. A 2-kilo claim will help him and he is ready to put his best hoof forward in this. NIC'S DREAM (7) has been racing well with her races being well-spaced and was a solid third here just over 5 weeks ago. She is still on the up and should be right in the finish again. CITY OF BOULDER (4) made her Queensland debut just over a fortnight ago and needed the run after only battling in the run home after racing close to the pace. She strips fitter and has Ryan Wiggins in the saddle this time. Don't drop her. FAIRYBOWER FLYER (9) solid effort last start, beaten 1.3 lengths into second over 1200m at Townsville. Among the chances.

RACE 2 - MAGIC INTENT (10) showed promise in her first campaign and then ran out of condition when resuming from a spell as favourite at Townsville 5 weeks ago, finishing fourth. She strips fitter and can set the record straight with 2.5 kilos less to carry this time. Follow your money. MR GRUMBLER (5) ran on late to finish fifth after making a slow start at Townsville when resuming from a spell just over a fortnight ago. The drop in journey to 950 metres should not be an issue and he only needs to begin with them this time to be right in the finish. Stick with him. LEAN EAGLE (2) was a handy recent trial winner last spring and has not been seen publicly since then. Having Ryan Wiggins in the saddle is a strong lead and the markets will be your best guide. POWER SHOW (7) stuck on gamely for second despite needing the run at her last run on this track before having a spell. She would have matured since then and with a handy 3-kilo claim, she can't be ruled out of a top 3 finish in this.

RACE 3 - I SAY BOOM (4) has not fired on the picnic circuit in his last couple of starts but those tracks can be a trap for horses not used to them and he can be forgiven for those efforts. His form prior at TAB meetings was very good and he is worth another chance at what should be some nice each-way value. SECRET LOCATION (3) made the move from Victoria earlier in the year and after a couple of starts over 1400 metres at Townsville for his new trainer, he stepped up to a more suitable middle-distance on his home track of Innisfail and was too good for his rivals, scoring by over 2 lengths. He has 2-kilos less to carry this time and can take the next step immediately. LAST NOT LEAST (2) is usually found competing on the picnic circuit and was in the money in the same race as the third pick last time out. He has winning form over the trip and is not out of this race either. GAELIC (1) has b been thereabouts of late and watch for any market moves.

RACE 4 - ELLEVES (1) has yet to hit his straps since making the move from a NSW stable earlier in the year. He slides down in class and gets a change of jockey with Chris Whiteley in the irons who will keep this fellow on the bit from the get-go. He is worth another chance. WANDJINA SPIRIT (6) ran on late after getting too far back early on at Mackay a fortnight ago and from a superior gate this time, she will hopefully settle a lot closer this time. She benefits from a 4-kilo claim and can get a slice of the finish here. Stick with her. BRAVE INTENT (7) stormed home late to run third at Townsville 5 weeks ago and has a better record on this track. Hard to beat. GUAPO (5) consistent gelding but hasn't won for a while. Put the writing on the wall last time over 1000m at Oak Park when third and beaten 2 lengths. In the mix.

RACE 5 - JAZZ WORTHY (7) has needed both of her starts at Townsville since resuming from a spell and on both occasions, she has also been a touch unlucky. She gets a nice swing in the draws this time and should be ready to show her best. On top. LUCKY ROLLA (5) has been settling too far back in his races from wide gates and has been making up late ground when the race is all over. He will be hoping to stay in touch this time from a superior gate and should finish closer. Stick with him on an each-way basis. PRIVATE CHEETAH (2) is heading the right way with his form and steps up to a more suitable trip after 3 runs back from a spell. He is not too badly treated in the weights and can get the job done here. KAI COME (6) did not handle the Oak Park surface last start and can be forgiven for that effort. He was an all-the-way maiden winner here before that and with 9 kilos less to carry this time, he can bounce straight back into the money. Each-way value.

RACE 6 - SUPER TWENTY THREE (5) was a beaten favourite fresh up at Townsville but did travel 4 wide throughout that day and understandably struggled to run home. He then ran on late there for second 11 days ago from a wide draw and after landing a superior gate third up in this, he is ready to win. BLOOMIN' RIPPER (7) has been in good form on the picnic circuit and let down nicely to score at Oak Park 12 days ago. She has been placed on this track in the past and won't mind an extra 250 metres to travel this time. Stick with her. Can win. BRADSHAW (6) only got going late when resuming at Townsville 11 days ago and she did improve with racing during her initial prep. She strips fitter and can figure in the finish this time. AMMAND (1) loomed up before the final turn last start and then peaked on his effort before finishing well back without being punched by his jockey. That was his first hit-out in 6 weeks so he should be a lot sharper this time. He drops down in class. Each-way value.

RACE 7 - WELL IN SIGHT (3) has plenty of pace and did not take long to win her first race since making the move from NSW late last year. She resumed from a spell here at the start of June and finished runner-up by a head and then got the job done as expected by over 2 lengths just over 5 weeks ago. She cops a wide gate but with the benefit of a 3-kilo claim, she can win again. BOLD FEELING (8) did not come up in 2 starts earlier in the year and was put aside to mature. He is better than that and can give this a shake fresh up. A market watch is advised. LIDDER VALLEY (4) left his Victorian yard after producing a disappointing effort at Pakenham in March. He looks very well placed in this, especially now that he has drawn the pole position. He has won fresh up in the past and can do it again here. HARTSHORN (12) was a touch on the weak side last year and after a decent spell to mature, he has returned and won 2 races on the bounce. This is no harder and the hat-trick beckons.

RACE 8 - YES DREAM (2) changed stables at the start of the year and after a couple of starts to get ready, he broke through for an easy win as expected at a recent Oak Park picnic meeting nearly a fortnight ago. He has won on this course in the past and even though 1400 metres is at the top of his range, he will be hard to beat again. BRILLIANT MIND (1) is a tough veteran who is always competitive at this level and was a beaten favourite when finishing second at the recent Laura picnic meeting nearly 3 weeks ago. He normally hits his straps third up and is not too badly treated at the weights. Ryan Wiggins gets on well with him and returns to the saddle. Stick with him. VIVENZO (5) had a couple of starts for a new trainer earlier in the year and after being beaten by a nose fresh up he won his next start by a short-head before having a spell. He is nicely weighted and should be the main threat to the top 2 picks. HARROW (10) will be peaking at his third start in Queensland. Each-way value.

RACE 9 - LAST ROYAL (2) switched stables earlier in the year in search of easier opportunities further North and has yet to break through but has not been far away. He is down slightly in grade from his last start at Townsville where he finished a close-up fourth. Ashley Butler steps into the irons and maybe he can coax that little bit extra out of this gelding where it matters most. On top. HEADLANDER (7) built his form strongly and capped off some solid efforts with an overdue win by a nose at an Innisfail picnic meeting nearly 4 weeks ago. He has drawn in the pole position here and can double the dose. DELANCY (4) led all the way when winning at a Laura picnic meeting nearly 3 weeks ago, albeit in a 4-horse field. His confidence will be up and having Ryan Wiggins back in the saddle is a strong lead. Go again. SIZZLING SAMURAI (9) will be peaking third up and can be forgiven for his last run at Oak Park. He has 5.5 kilos less to carry and can bounce back quickly. Each-way.

RACE 10 - CASHIN' CHEX (2) needed his first 3 starts back from a spell after changing stables last season and was a comfortable winner at Mackay a fortnight ago. He handles any track condition and only has to carry 1.5 kilos more in weight for this assignment. Go again. BRINGYATICKET (6) is a very progressive 3-year-old gelding who won fresh up with 60 kilos on his back and then ran on late to finish fifth at Mackay 2 weeks ago. He is still on the up and with a superior gate this time, he will be hard to hold out. ANDALUS (12) was runner-up when resuming at Gosford in April and after a couple of disappointing efforts he changed stables. He needed his Queensland run 2 weeks ago at Mackay and can improve quickly here. CRYSTAL CHIEF (3) won two starts ago then back to earth last time when fifth over 1200m at Townsville. Rates highly and can break back into the frame.
