RACE 1 - OUR OZZIE SALUTE (3) collided with another runner last time and always well back when sixth (28.14) in a Maiden at Mandurah. Better than latest and worth another try. FUNDORA (1) showed little early speed at his last couple, the latest finishing fifth (30.28) in a Maiden at this track. Some good form is emerging from his last run. Can do much better this time. ITALIAN STALLION (8) profiles well for this but has a wide draw to content with at his first outing. Can measure up. SEND IT JACK (2) must be among the chances on the last run here.
RACE 2 - WINGS OF HOPE (1) impressed last time when posted a slick 17.44 win here in a new PB this course and distance. Should be in this for a long way. CHEERS MICK (8) was strong over this course and distance last time despite filling the minors, finishing 4.5 lengths behind Wings Of Hope in 17.76 and recording a new PB here. Expecting another bold showing. SHINBONER PROUD (2) turned spotting a big start finishing fifth (18.19) last time in a Novice race at this track. In the mix. WHEEL AROUND (5) can finish much closer after missing a cheque at this track last start.
RACE 3 - ASSATA (1) comes off an average effort last start when eighth at Mandurah over 300m behind China Panda (17.99) in a Grade 5. Was a winner at her only start from this draw. Better than the latest effort and deserves another chance. FLYING GOLDWING (3) was always prominent from this same draw last time and boxed on well to place (17.53) in a Grade 6 over 297m at this track. Harder here but expected to feature again. BEER THANKS (2) finished well back at Mandurah last time when a 7 length sixth (17.68) but scored four back at Hobart (19.87). A big run wouldn't surprise. MR. KAMBOSOS (5) will be hard to beat with a drop in distance.
RACE 4 - CHLOE ANT (8) has been mixing form lately, hitting the frame two back before finishing fifth (43.18) at this track in a Free For All. Meets a moderate line up and rates on top this time. SPEED FREAK (2) ran good time (42.95) when third last start over 721m at this track, the second placing in a row. Expecting significant improvement this line-up. BALLISTIC ANT (4) doesn't have the best strike-rate. Finished second (42.94) at this track latest and might be close to finding winning form again. Bold showing expected. DISCO TRIXIE (1) was out of the money here last time out but can bounce back.
RACE 5 - NOW SEE HERE (8) copped a check in the run and finished out of the placings when eighth (27.84) at Mandurah over 488m in a Novice race. Worth following up. NIGHT MOON (1) stalked lead from an outside box last start before finishing third (29.85) at this track in a Novice race over 509m. Has performed well from this box with a win and three minor placings to his name from six starts. Expected to feature again. BISCOTTI BLAST (2) has been beaten for early speed lately, last time finishing fourth (30.04) in a Novice race at this track. Better than the latest run and deserves another chance. CROSSWIRED (7) was out of the frame here most recently but can atone.
RACE 6 - ANGEL ABOVE (1) produced a moderate effort last time when seventh at The Meadows over 525m behind Mad Kev (31.63) in a Grade 7. Was in the money the start prior. Rates on top in this line up. ON THE JACKS (2) showed little early speed at his last couple, the latest finishing fifth (30.28) in a Novice race at this track. Worth another chance. VINALES (7) is struggling to break through but racing consistently, finishing in the minors three on end. Last start collided in the run and finished third in a Novice race at Mandurah (27.73). Worth following up. WISE EMPEROR (8) did a good job to finish third last time out over 509m at this track (30.16) in a Novice race, the second top-three finish on the trot.
RACE 7 - SHINE ON LILLY (1) comes here following a placing in handy time (17.21) over 297m at this track when beaten 2.5 lengths in a Free For All. Can measure up if runs up to latest time. SIMPLICITY (3) has been in top form at this track with back to back wins, scoring in a scintillating 17.02 followed by a 17.03 win last time. Expecting another bold showing. CHERRY BLUE (7) was below best at her last start when 6th at this track following a win (17.10) there two back. Form here at this distance is sound. Has a solid record from this box including two wins and a minor placing. Has ability and is one of the better chances. TWISTED MANSION (2) generally performs well from this box.
RACE 8 - BEZZECCHI (5) had been in top form scoring six consecutive wins before a minor placing (27.25) last time at Mandurah. Goes well from this draw. Well placed here and can go close with a clear run. DADDY'S GIRL (2) clocked an outstanding 29.56 when winning over 509m at this track last start. Top win latest and can measure up again. COIN COUNTER (3) missed the frame last time after colliding with another runner in a OPEN at Cannington, finishing a 6 length sixth (30.41). Has the ability and can measure up. SPEEDY JEANIE (1) has ability and finds the right scenario to bounce back.
RACE 9 - STARLIGHT ARIEL (5) has a strong winning strike-rate this journey here having won two of three starts. Missed the frame latest (30.21) when fifth over 509m at this track in a Grade 5/6. Makes strong appeal on best. MAGIC ENTRY (8) is a capable type and proved too strong last time to win by 2 lengths at this track in a handy 29.65 beating Pingelly Prince. Capable of going well again. RUTHLESS TIGER (7) copped a check in the run last time but wound up strongly to hit the frame when third (29.85) in a Grade 5/6 at this track. Leading player again. MR. SEVERIDE (4) was in the money last start at this track and distance - poses a threat again.
RACE 10 - BARBEQUE MAN (4) scored well last start as odds-on favourite by 2.5 lengths at this track in a handy 29.54 beating Carter Axelrod. Jumping from the pinch draw but in form and has the ability. The form from his last run stacks up well. One of the key runners again. EUGENIUS (8) collided in the run and missed the frame when fifth (30.30) at this track over 509m in a Free For All. Has the ability and can atone with the right run. SHIMA DREAM (6) turned in a sharp 29.76 despite finishing fourth in a Grade 5 at this track last start. Rates a leading chance if runs up to latest. MATRIX BALE (1) was in the money last time at Mandurah (22.45) in a Free For All, finishing a 1.75 lengths second. Loves this draw, having won nine of 15 starts.
RACE 11 - GIMLI (1) recorded a 2.5 lengths second in a Grade 5 last time 29.75 at this track and trip and also jumping from the same draw. Has the ability and looks hard to top. ARBOLINO (4) has mixed form recently, finishing eighth (27.68) in a OPEN at Mandurah latest but did run well two back when in the frame. Key player on best and worth another try. STARLIGHT PANAMA (7) broke from a low draw and filled a minor placing last start, beaten only 2 lengths (30.12) behind Wise Barra at Cannington. The form from her last run is stacking up nicely. Overdue and is among the main hopes. SOUL SURVIVOR (2) is in the mix despite missing out at this track last time.
RACE 12 - MAXIMUM CARNAGE (2) filled the minor money three on end before breaking through for a deserved win last time, scoring at this track over 297m (17.25). Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. Has hit winning form and can go on with it. SARABI SINCLAIR (8) was in the placings last time but prior to that she posted a blistering 17.22 win over 297m at this track. Top win two back and can measure up again. ALL OVER KORA (1) has a fair record and proved too strong last time to win by 2.5 lengths at Mandurah in a handy 17.17 beating Payakaroon. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. Likely to be in the finish. SMIRCH BIRCH (7) is always a threat when he races at this track and distance.
