Backs-up quickly and is suitably placed to turn it around in this easier contest. POIEMA (9) resumed from a lengthy spell for new stable when a plodding sixth over 1000m at Scone on July 12. Has a better second-up record and the extra 1250m suits. WELCOME BACK (10) yet to win in 28 starts but indicated she was near her top when a courageous second over 1250m here on July 13. Has each-way prospects.
RACE 2 - SPECIAL DAY (6) holding her form well and a win looks imminent after attacking the line late when third over 2000m at Wyong on June 27. Gets through the conditions and no excuses today. TIDLER'S WISH (7) only the one win from seven starts and stretches out to the 2000m for the first time. Finally drawn a decent gate after catching the eye late when seventh over 1600m at this track on July 13. Not to be underestimated. CHARMED DESTINY (2) had been racing well prior to fading sharply at latest when 12th over 2200m at Grafton on July 14. Was a month between runs at latest and strips fitter today with the 2kg claim. Improver. BORN CONQUEROR (1) saves his best for this track and stretches out to the 2000m for the first time here. Stuck on well with the 59kg when a gritty second over 1600m here on July 13. Should be in this for a long way.
RACE 3 - SO OUTRAGEOUS (1) is back after a break of eight months. Finished second on debut at Rosehill before disappointing when seventh over 1550m at Canterbury on November 24. Fitted with two recent trials and expected to sprint well fresh. LAIZABOUT (4) Wayne Wilkes trained two-year-old gelding by Zousain out of Divine Nature on debut. Ploughed through the heavy (10) conditions when a slick trial winner over 1000m here on July 13. Keep safe. MONRAINIA (12) two-year-old filly by Vadamos out of Rainbow Lace on debut for the Denim Wynen yard. Solid trial when second over 800m at Hawkesbury on July 8. Forward showing expected. ROSSY'S MANEUVER (5) two-year-old colt by Strategic Maneuver out of Rose To Fame on debut for the Trent Potts yard. Finished fifth in a recent 960m Grafton trial on July 7. Gets in light with the 4kg claim and can take a hand in the finish.
RACE 4 - BERTIE (4) got off the mark at start 11 when a fighting maiden victory over 1450m at Muswellbrook on July 11. Confidence is high now and gets every chance again in this stronger contest from the low draw. HOTZINO (5) sat just off the good speed on resumption when a plugging third over 1262m here on June 26. Looks to have come back well and will need a good ride from the sticky gate. Sure to be strong late. MOSGIEL DAISY (3) rewarded for her consistency after running on late in the heavy (10) conditions when a nose winner over 1300m here on July 13. Hard fit for this and Ben Looker keeps the ride. SLUSH FUND (16) drifted in betting when resuming for a plugging ninth over 1200m at Tamworth on July 5. Maps well for this from the inside gate and will appreciate the extra 200m. Place claims best.
RACE 5 - SHE'S GOT TEETH (7) racing in career best form and looks placed to advantage today fifth-up. Up to the mile for the first time when a sound third over 1600m at Tamworth on June 28. This is easier and will take holding out. HE'S A COPY BOY (1) raced without luck in town in Highway company before attacking the line late when a narrow second over 1610m at Grafton in BM66 company on July 14. No surprise to see him go one better with the 4kg claim. BANDOLERO (10) best performance in some time when back in grade for a tenacious long neck second over 1700m at Gundagai on June 29. Can take a hand in the finish. ROSSY'S TYPA GIRL (3) raced much closer to the speed and back in class when a fighting second over this track and trip on July 13. A repeat of latest will see her play a leading role.
RACE 6 - SHIHAB (1) on the quick back-up after striding to the front when a gritty second over 1410m at Grafton on July 14. Will find this more to his liking and won here in good style four back. LADY SOAMES (2) returned from a let-up with a fast-finishing head victory over 1200m at Tamworth on July 5. Osmond rides again with the claim and expected to go close in this stronger contest. CAPITAMY (9) drops sharply in weight today from a better gate after drifting back and attacking the line late when fifth over 1200m at Tamworth on July 5. Brings the right numbers to figure prominently. SIMPLICITY (3) returns from a break of 11 weeks and now in the Neil Godbolt yard. Ran on late with the 58.5kg when a solid third over 1300m at Sandown (H) on May 8. Gets weight relief with the claim and watch for her late.
RACE 7 - MONTE CRUISE (5) has clearly come back much stronger this prep winning first-up before tiring late when third over 1195m at Grafton on July 7. Three weeks between runs last start and gets the winkers added here. No excuses from the inside gate. CUPID'S KISS (1) racing in a rich vein of form and chasing her fourth win from six starts this prep. Will relish the 4kg claim again after scoring over 1000m at Muswellbrook on July 11. Has a good record here and looks the main danger. GOLDEN GALAXY (7) returned to winning form with a surprise 2 len victory over 1000m here on June 13. Gets similar conditions here and not to be underestimated. FLOSS'S ONE (4) strengthened up over the break and has the ability to take this out after finishing third over this track and trip on July 13. Gets the brow band on for the first time. Genuine contender.
