RACE 1 - SILVER EYE (2) is building a handy record early on, finishing just 0.4L off the winner last start after racing wide and without cover. All the gear comes off and Fiore replaces the apprentice hoop on this occasion. Racing well without winning but gets his chance to score again today. TERRATIF (4) won a recent trial at Lark Hill in readiness for this with Pike remaining in the saddle from the trial. She maps for a lovely run and she was a winner first-up last campaign. Brings some strong formlines into this from last campaign and is sure to make her presence felt. DEFERRED (6) got the job done as favourite first-up, winning by 0.4L over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Chris Parnham takes the ride now and she maps for a much better run in transit. Can repeat the dose. EN PLEIN AIR (3) disappointed last time out but is better than she showed that day. Can bounce back. AYUMI (5) is in the same boat and is expected to return to form third-up.

RACE 2 - NORTH FACE (2) stuck on gamely to the line first-up over this course and distance, beaten just 0.3L. Fitter again now and although he has drawn wide he brings the highest rating into the race. Needs some luck but can get the job done. CHAMPAGNE COAST (8) has trialled impressively this time in work and looks ready to make a statement on resumption. LIVE LUCKY (6) was just fair first-up as a 12-1 chance in Saturday grade most recently and should appreciate the slight drop in class. William Pike hops in the saddle now and she has the speed to be prominent from the outset. Can make her presence felt. AREDUET (5) jumped 20-1 but beat home Live Lucky on that occasion, running on from the back. She has a few good ratings to her name and it wouldn't surprise to see her come out on top. BUSTER'S GIRL (7) resumes without a trial but comes through a good race on debut. Worth including.

RACE 3 - LE BEAU (2) found a couple better when a 2-1 chance at Bunbury on debut 20 days ago and will take plenty of improvement out of that effort. Fiore remains in the saddle and with plenty of improvement likely, he can get the job done this time. SHE IS GOD (9) resumes today on the back of one trial and draws nicely for her return. Chris Parnham rode her on debut and sticks with the galloper today. Showed enough there and finds a nice race to make her return. TAKE YOUR CHANCES (10) bolted in at the trials recently and looks ready to make an impact. Was beaten badly on debut back in January, but pulled up with an issue and was sent straight to the paddock. Carries no weight and will take catching from the front. NATURAL GEM (6) was slow to recover last start when beaten at Bunbury and now gets the blinkers on first time. Can turn his form around. SAFEKEEPER (5) can build on a solid effort last start.

RACE 4 - MAGNASONIC (2) settled midfield before running over the top to win by 0.5L over 1022m at Bunbury. Out to 1200m for the first time, though it does look to suit judging by his racing pattern. Wide draw is a niggle, but he's trending the right way and can win again. DEFIANT DIORITE (1) was beaten a long way in Saturday grade here 18 days ago and will appreciate getting back to midweek company. He maps to be prominent in the run and his ratings from two and three starts back are the ones to judge him off. Can bounce back in a big way. ROCKET JUICE (7) is better than he showed last start when beaten 3L over this course and distance. Expecting a much better effort this time with Steve Parnham remaining in the saddle. CLOSE AT HAND (5) gets Pike in the saddle, replacing the apprentice hoop. Draws well at peak fitness and won't be far away. ZANGIEF (3) has been back to the trials since a poor effort on June 1. Better than that and is worth including.

RACE 5 - TOROPA (2) looks a smart horse on the rise3 after an impressive victory first-up, pulling away to win by 2.3L. Out to 1200m is no issue and she maps for a lovely run for Brad Parnham. Looks as though she's better than this grade and she can keep her unbeaten streak alive. AMARLIE MISS (6) will put up a good challenge though after a 0.1L defeat at Bunbury 20 days ago. She draws a better gate this time around and was a winner at this track and trip two starts ago. She has some class about her also and appears the main danger. VILLAGE GIRL (4) drops back in trip today following a 2.6L defeat last time out and gets Pike in the saddle for today's assignment. He draws the best gate she's seen in some time and a return to her best form would see her in the thick of the finish. JAZ SESSION (10) is better than she showed last time out and getting out in trip can see her return to form. FOREVER CLASSIC (1) comes through a good trial and won't be far away.

RACE 6 - ON PATROL (1) comes through a strong race 60 days ago when too far back to threaten, beaten 2L at the line over 1400m here. He's been back to the trials since and Cassey Martinan takes 3kgs off as he drops back to midweek grade. Can get back into the winner's stall. DON'T TRUST JUDAS (9) was caught wide and without cover last start, fading badly to be beaten 6.6L as favourite. He drops back in trip today and CJP hops back into the saddle after a good effort two back. Best form is good enough to have him as a winning hope. MAGNACHINE (12) was 2.8L off the winner at Pinjarra (S) last start and rises slightly in trip with the visors going on for the first time. She still has upside and if she can run up to recent form, she won't be far away. ONE PUNCH (6) returned in good order here a fortnight ago and has to be included. ROMMEO (11) is better than we saw last time out and can bounce back dropping into midweek company.

RACE 7 - ABISSI (3) is racing in great form of late and looks to have found another suitable event today. William Pike hops in the saddle following a 0.8L defeat over 2100m here a fortnight ago. He's up in the weights, but he has plenty of upside about him and he can go one better this time. SEE YA CHAMP (11) ran on strongly at Bunbury to just miss by 0.7L and steps out to 2200m again. He won a similar race two starts ago and should get his chance from a nice alley. Hard to knock on recent form. STYLAX (1) has been racing in much stronger events of late and drops back to midweek level. The rise in trip is sharp, but Gaerth's claim comes in handy and his best form would see him about the finish. BUCKLAND (14) has found a couple better of late after setting the tempo up front. It's been a while between drinks but he should be prominent again and take catching. ARNRAY (6) has the speed to offset the wide draw and won't be far away.
