RACE 1 - BOONAH FLASHER (4) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in all five outings this time in work including placing over this track and trip two back. Strikes a winnable contest here and should be in this for a long way. CRYPT DE PIN (6) resumes but showed enough when last in work to warrant serious consideration in a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. CHIEF BY (1) has placed three of four overall and gets 1.5kg off with the claim. In the mix. Former NSW galloper ICHIKA (7) is having her first run for the new stable but showed glimpses of ability down south and will find this task easier. Top-three conveyance. PULL THE CATCH (11) is facing the starter for the first time and any market confidence must be respected.

RACE 2 - FINE AND RARE (1) wasn't disgraced in town when resuming from a lengthy spell and is sure to have come on with that run now under the belt. Should find this assignment much more to his liking and is drawn to get a gun run in transit from gate two. Rates the testing material. LOOK AT ROSA (7) has placed two of four over this distance range and will be rock-hard fit for this. Rates a serious contender. THE MANAGER (5) has been thereabouts in recent efforts and Cahill sticks in the saddle. Top-three credentials. GOLD PRINCE (3) has just missed the placings at the past couple and gets in well at the weights with the 4kg claim. Can earn some minor money. DEEP DAWN (8) next in line from the Gollan camp.

RACE 3 - Former Victorian MEASURED (15) was well supported at her local debut but failed to measure up at Toowoomba. Will have derived a stack of benefit from that hit-out and is drawn to get all the favours from gate two. Worth another chance. FAST FUSION (2) has been plying his trade in tougher races and strips fitter third-up from the spell. Can improve enough to feature in the finish. The well-related SHE'SGOTACCESS (11) (half to G2 winner Blueberry Hill) has placed two of three over this distance range and gets Stanley in the irons. Rates a genuine contender. BEE EXACT (16) has hit the top-four at his past four starts before the spell and is a must for the multiples while fresh. BOOMLANDER (4) best of the rest.

RACE 4 - ON MERIT (1) hasn't done much wrong with two wins and four placings from seven starts and will be at peak fitness for this. Hails from an astute barn and a bold showing is expected. RICH MINX (9) broke the maiden status at the Sunshine Coast before the spell and was then tipped out for time to furnish. Tuned up for this with a recent Deagon trial and can return in winning order. DIRT CHEAP (6) resumes here but showed plenty of ability in his first preparation and any market support must be noted. INATICK (2) has placed two from two here, draws low and gets 1.5kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes.

RACE 5 - DIRT CHEAP (5) is first-up here but didn't do much wrong in his first campaign with two wins and a second from just three outings. Revved up for this with two recent trials and rates a leading contender against this lot. GERRYMANDER (9) looked very good dominating a recent Beaudesert trial and should find this easier than what she faced when last in work. Can play a major role while fresh. FLYING TYROL (14) has placed at the past couple and is drawn to get a cosy run from gate three. Top-three candidate. MY ONE (15) has placed on all going and may earn some minor money. ARTEMAS (2) has hit the top-five in all four runs to date and looks one for the exotics players.

RACE 6 - TAMAHAGANE (9) resumed in fine fashion with a solid win at Beaudesert and will have taken a stack of confidence from that victory. Looks the galloper in this field with the most upside and can go back-to-back to start the campaign. STORM FORCE TEN (8) has been right there at the past couple and gets Mallyon on from the middle draw. No surprise to see a strong showing. HAYAKU (4) is one from one over this course and distance and gets Cormack on to navigate from the sticky draw. Can feature in the finish. ITALIAN VIRTUOSO (5) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and looks one for the multiples. BELLE'S BOY (13) has a win and two placings from five attempts at the track and trip and may trouble the judge with any luck in running.

RACE 7 - GRANDEUR ROSE (10) has been racing in a rich vein of form of late with a win and two seconds from her past three efforts and Williams sticks in the stirrups. Has placed around this circuit and should give this a mighty shake. MY WHISTLEBLOWER (1) resumes here but has shown enough in previous campaigns to warrant consideration in a race like this. Respect while fresh. SARODEC (3) is better than recent outings suggest and a strong showing would not surprise. ASHIGARU (7) has won over this distance range and is sure to be rock-hard fit for this. In the mix. HELEN'S DREAM (12) rounds out the selections.

RACE 8 - Looks a wide-open affair to close out the card. YEAH COPY (9) was in the market at Rockhampton last time and wasn't too far off them following a close-up second at Dalby the run prior. Gets winning hoop Wishart back in the saddle and this looks a suitable assignment. DANTE ALIGHIERI (7) has won over this trip, strips fitter second-up from the break and gets 2kg weight relief with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. TEE AMICI (1) has placed one from one over this track and trip and is drawn to get across easily from gate two. Should be in this for a long way. CRAZY EYED FRED (4) doesn't win out of turn but can earn some minor money if he brings his best. BETTER STRINGS (13) next best from the inside alley.
