RACE 1 - Interesting race to get things underway. SQUILLIONARE (2) won comfortably at this course and distance 48 days ago, scoring by 1.8L. She beat GINGER JONES on that occasion and she meets him better at the weights this time too. Has taken a liking to the dirt course and should take plenty of catching from out in front. GINGER JONES (1) got back to winning ways last start with a dominant 3.8L victory here 13 days ago. He drops in weight from that effort and should get every chance from a nice draw. He was 1.8L off SQUILLIONARE here on June 8th, but his last start effort suggests he may be able to turn the tables. ACEFIRE (3) disappointed when out in trip last time out and after a good win over this course and distance first-up from a year-long spell. Can bounce back to form with the blinkers going back on also. DASHING IMAGE (5) is another who may appreciate the drop back to 1200m and won't be far away.

RACE 2 - FLOAT OUR BOAT (3) turned in a poor effort at Derby last time out when beaten a long way after two good efforts here prior. Out in trip now looks to suit and he'll make his own luck up on the speed. Expecting him to be in front for a very long way. HEAR MY PRAYER (1) finished a long way behind Float Our Boat last start but had turned in better efforts prior to that. Jessica Gray hops back in the saddle, striking at a whopping 34% from her last 50 rides. Can turn his form around sharply. MR HOLLYWOOD (5) steps right out in distance today after never looking a hope over 1435m here 13 days ago. He was solid over 2000m last campaign and this may be what he's looking for now. Can improve on what we've seen thus far. WHAT SHOUT (6) comes through the same race as Mr Hollywood and is not to be discounted.

RACE 3 - PRIVATE SAPLING (1) has been solid since coming north and was 2.7L off an in-form galloper his past couple. Slightly back in trip looks to hold the key and he's expected to roll to the front from the barrier. He'll take some running down. STREET MASCHINO (4) finished behind Private Sapling two back before running second ahead of him last time out, finishing 2.3L off the winner. It's been a while between drinks, but he's found a suitable event to end his winning drought. SAMARIA (6) bounced back over this course and distance last start when 4.9L off the winner following a poor effort prior. Galati strikes at 22% when riding for Pateman. Never too far away and is expected to be thereabouts once again. BERTA (2) won well here two back before finishing a long way off over the mile last start. Back in trip may help and an improved effort is anticipated.

RACE 4 - CHARMING BELLE (3) makes her way up to Broome after a disappointing effort at Albany 78 days ago. She should appreciate the drop in grade today and she does perform well on the fresh side. Can make an immediate impact. UNO ME (2) wasn't far away here last start over the mile and drops back to a more suitable distance this time around. He's drawn well for the in-form Gray and he's expected to put his best foot forward. THERMOSPHERE LAD (1) won comfortably as favourite over 1435m here last time out, leading all the way to score by 3.9L. He's still lightly raced and with plenty of upside. He was good at this trip two starts ago and he's sure to make his presence felt. JUST FOR MARCUS (6) hasn't won on this course previously from 4 attempts, though his best form would see him right in the finish. He disappointed at Albany last time out but his runs prior to that stack up well in this field. LET IT GO RUPERT (4) can bounce back to form in what looks a suitable race.

RACE 5 - HIDE THE OREOS (6) has bolted in his past couple, winning by 2.3L over the mile last start when leading throughout. He's taken a liking to the dirt course and he maps to find the front once again for Galati. Hard to knock his recent performances and the hat-trick beckons. ROEY CLAM (5) steps out to the mile for the first time this campaign and will appreciate the extra journey. He disappointed last start but showed what he is capable of two back. At peak fitness now and can make his presence felt. MR CONFIDENTIAL (8) couldn't bring up the hat-trick last start when beaten a long way over 1435m here. Happy to overlook one back run as he was in fine form prior to that effort. He remains down in the weights and he can bounce back to winning ways. COUNT GRUNDY (2) resumed with a good effort at Derby 6 days ago and he's won 2/5 second-up. Won't be far away. BOURBON BEAU (1) wasn't far away last start and has claims.

RACE 6 - DEMITO (5) resumes today after some strong performances in tougher races in her last campaign. Only 79 days between runs, she should still have plenty of fitness on her side and if she can hold her form on the dirt course, she should go close to winning. LO LO LONHRO (3) bolted in over 1000m here a fortnight ago, winning by 4L in a big form reversal. Hard to ignore what he did there though and if he can run up to that level again, he'll go close. DISCO DONUT (4) is racing well of late, winning here two back before bumping into a big winner at Derby last week. Won't be far away if he can run up to his recent efforts with the claim of Sardelic coming in handy. SIOUX CITY (2) was in good touch last campaign and boasts a nice record over this course and distance. Can put his best foot forward. PRINCE SAIYAN (6) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back.

RACE 7 - DO IT RIGHT (8) comes up north following a 3.4L defeat at Pinjarra (S) last start, producing a good rating. He had been close in Metro grade prior to that and he gets into this race light in the weights. He maps for a lovely run and can get the job done if he runs up to recent efforts. LET'S SEA (6) will put up a good challenge though, winning by 1.6L over this course and distance last start. This is tougher, but he drops 5kg and retains the in-form hoop. Hard to knock his recent form and can win again. ROGUES POINT (2) jumps right up in trip following a gutsy performance from the front at Belmont 20 days ago. He loves this track and he'll make his own luck up on the speed. Expecting him to be very hard to chase down. GAMBLER'S GOLD (4) disappointed at Derby last start but is better than that. Can turn it around. ARTIE'S COMET (7) bumped into a good one last start when beaten a long way but his form prior was good. Include.
