RACE 1 - CLEANEMUP (3) showed plenty of toughness on debut to get the job done when challenged right down the stretch. While the margin was only 0.3L there, she'll be better for that outing and the blinkers go on today. She trialled impressively in blinkers leading up to her debut and she can go back-to-back. GOLD MAKER (1) showed enough on debut behind the impressive Golden Vale, before contesting stakes races to round out the campaign. He draws the best gate he's seen in his career and if he can run up to what he did first-up last preparation, he'll go close. SUPERNATURAL (9) makes her debut today after catching the eye at the trials recently. CJP remains in the saddle from those trials where she's been very adaptable in the run. Wouldn't surprise to see her make a winning debut. SUNSHINE TAFE (4) was too good against the older horses at Kalgoorlie last start and can go on with the job.

RACE 2 - Interesting race. RUSSIAN SNIPER (2) is hard to knock on recent performances, going close his past couple following a win three starts ago. Back to this trip may be his only niggle, though he has performed well here previously. Pike sticking is a big tick and he can get back to winning ways today. BUSTERS FREE (8) ran on well over this course and distance last time out to be beaten 1.5L at the finish. He may need some luck from the inside alley again, but Fiore replaces the apprentice hoop and there does look to be good speed engaged. Watch for him flashing late. ULTIMATE COMMAND (5) has trialled well and is usually thereabouts first-up. Won't be far away. MAJOR MARIO (6) drops right back in trip today off a freshen but is worth keeping an eye on.

RACE 3 - DOCTOR JAY (2) bumped into a smart one last start when in the market and is hard to knock on his form this time in. He's still an improving galloper and he looks to have found a winnable race today. Looks ready to get back to winning ways. RISSOLES (9) won well two back and showed she's up to this level with a 0.9L defeat last start despite jumping a 25-1 chance. Getting out in trip may hold the key and she's expected to make her presence felt. KRAKEN TIME (6) just missed as favourite when rattling home from a long way back at Pinjarra (S). That effort caught the attention of Pike who hops in the saddle today. Looks ready for the rise in trip now and it wouldn't surprise to see him sit closer and come out on top. KINGS SALUTE (1) missed as favourite last start after a good run in this class the start prior. Knocking on the door. SKYTALKER (7) can be flashing home down the outside.

RACE 4 - FINAL SIREN (3) is a smart up-and-coming galloper who was too good last start, winning narrowly despite sitting wide throughout. Barrier 1 is a big tick and he can continue his impressive climb through the ranks. GINNIVAN (6) ties in through Final Siren from his run two back, but is on the quick turnaround today after a 0.8L defeat last week. Brown replaces the apprentice hoop and he has the pace to offset the wide alley. Expecting him to be in this for a long way. BRAVE STRIKE (8) has been freshened since a poor run in the Raconteur and can bounce back. HARMIKA (7) was placed in a recent trial and goes well first up. Can return with a bold run.

RACE 5 - ALLEZ ALLEZ (4) just missed last start over 1400m after leading throughout and steps out to the mile once again today. Brad Parnham hops back in the saddle, having guided the gelding to two wins to begin this campaign. Draws to get every chance and can go one better this time around. STARRY HEIGHTS (3) finished behind Allez Allez last start when 3.6L off the winner, though he does tick plenty of boxes today. Pike hops back in the saddle having won 6/8 when steering, and he boasts a strong second-up record. He draws better now and can be much closer at the finish. FALCON TRADER (5) has made an impact since stepping out to the mile, scoring by 0.3L a fortnight ago. He'll be prominent in the run and with a slight drop in weight, he's expected to take plenty of catching. PLAYHOUSE PATRON (6) is hard to knock on recent form and should be going close again. SAVAGE ONE (9) has his hoof on the till and is inching closer to ending his winning drought.

RACE 6 - FINE TOUCH (4) wasn't beaten far in stronger company last start, beaten just 1.2L. She's a third-up winner previously and she maps to get every chance under Brad Parnham. Can improve again third-up and return to winning ways. FLURO NEURO (1) steps out to the mile for the first time, though it does look to suit judging by his racing pattern. CJP remains in the saddle and while he is likely to get back in the run, that is his normal pattern. The blinkers go on again and he's sure to put his best foot forward. NOTEWORTHY (8) steps up to the mile now with Pike hopping in the saddle. She is a course and distance winner previously and her form ties in through the likes of Fluro Neuro. May need a touch of luck from the draw, but she can be running on strongly late in the race. GINGER GREEN (2) was far too good in easier grade last time out when an all-the-way winner. Tougher now but hard to ignore his latest figures. BIRDIEAGLE (3) can go close now as he rises up to the mile.

RACE 7 - The feature of the day and SALOON BAR (5) can build on his impressive campaign in March. He went close in The Quokka at Ascot and showed he can mix it with some of the best in WA. Steve Parnham hops back in the saddle and while he's never won first-up, he finds a suitable race to do so in this. MINSK MOMENT (2) ran on well from midfield in the Beaufine and may have found them a touch too sharp over the short course. He trialled impressively coming into this campaign and getting out in trip now seems ideal. The tongue tie goes on and he's expected to be much closer at the finish. RED FIFTY THREE (12) has won 2/5 first-up in the past and should get every chance under Pike from a handy barrier. He's right down in the weights and although he's likely to get back, a good pace is expected. He'll go close. BOOTS LIKE BRUCE (7) won well in easier grade last start but that rating stacks up well in this. Include. PULI (4) has to be included after winning the Beaufine.

RACE 8 - SENTIMENTAL BELLE (11) rattled home at Northam to win by 0.7L in fine style. While this is a tougher event, her win last start suggests she's up to the grade and Pike sticking adds to the confidence. Likely to be back in the run but can be finishing off strongly. BIRD'S THE WORD (1) is hard to knock on recent form, finishing just 0.3L off the winner at this track and trip last time out. We'll see that form in the feature event (R7) and Chris Parnham rides from a suitable alley. Can be prominent in the run and take catching. HOSTILE TALK (13) won well two back before getting into a strong race last time out in Open 3YO grade in a below-average effort for him. He's still improving and with a return to his best likely, he can be right there at the finish. DENNIS CHOUX (6) worked his way through the grades impressively last campaign and has claims on resumption. KEEP ATTACKING (9) can build on a solid first-up win.

RACE 9 - STARRING KNIGHT (6) was sound first-up here over 1200m when just 1.6L off the winner. He usually improves sharply second-up and his best is good enough to be knocking off a race of this calibre. SIBERIAN SIREN (9) can build on the strong first-up win. MISS DRAKOVA (11) bounced back to winning form at this track last start and rates a chance in this field. VASILIEV (13) was unwanted in the market when resuming last start at this track over 1400m and finished fourth. Can do much better this time with the run under his belt.
