MOET AT MIDNIGHT (1) has placed at the past couple and is drawn to get a soft run in transit from gate two. Can get the job done. LITTLE IFFY (8) put in a career-best performance when runner-up last time out and rates a genuine top three contender on that form. BETTER THAN WORDS (7) strips fitter third-up from the break and gets the services of Wiggins in the saddle. In the mix.
RACE 3 - KEFALONIA (3) got the job done at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Gets plenty of weight relief with the claim and looks a serious danger. MURRAJONG ROAD (1) is an honest commodity who has hit the top five in 14 of his past 15 starts. Has to be included. LEICA BITA FUN (4) loves this distance range with a win and seven placings from just nine attempts. Suitably placed here. PARISIAN LADY (8) rounds out the selections.
RACE 4 - WHITSUNDAY SESSION (6) hasn't done much wrong with a win and four placings from five starts to begin the career and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Will be right there when the whips are cracking. CINDERELLA MAN (4) has placed over this track and trip and gets some weight off with the claim. Should feature in the outcome. HARVESTA (2) has a win and three placings from seven attempts at this distance range and will be at peak fitness for this. In the mix. NANO STAR (3) has placed over this course and distance and is a third-up winner in the past. Hard to ignore. LAST LAUGH (8) best of the rest from the inside alley.
RACE 5 - HELLISH (1) has hit a purple patch of form stringing two wins together on the bounce and winning hoop Stanley stays on top. Expected to be right there at the business end. PARADE GROUND (2) just missed the placings at the latest effort and will be at peak fitness for this. Gets some weight off with the claim and may make his presence felt. PRETTY SLICK (4) is a very consistent mare who doesn't know how to run a bad race. Has to be considered for the multiples. SANTORINI SUMMER (6) got a confidence-building win at the latest outing and can go right on with the job now. OUR TURN NOW (5) strips fitter second-up from the spell and may earn some minor money.
RACE 6 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade LAMENTUM (11) has been right there at the past couple and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Ideally placed here to break the maiden status. FRACTIONAL (2) was well in the betting at Rocky on debut and where there's smoke there's fire. Should improve with race experience now under the belt. KAI MONDO (10) just missed the placings when at the races for the first time and will have derived benefit from that outing. One for the exotics player. MISHANI TYCOON (6) next best while fresh.
RACE 7 - EARLY FUSION (2) was a touch plain last time out but go on the two strong wins prior. Gets 2kg off with the claim and only needs a bit of luck from the sticky draw to play a prominent role in the outcome. HOLY CROWN (7) has placed one from one over this distance range and will be at peak fitness for this. Looks a serious threat. MISS SHALAA (11) saves her best form for this trip with two wins and a second from just four attempts. Rates as one of the chief contenders. BOLD ZIP (9) has placed around this circuit and looks one for the multiples. KELLERS SHELTER (3) is a last-start winner who draws kindly in gate one. In the mix.
RACE 8 - Group 3 placegetter STAMPE (1) is a six-time winner over this distance range and has been right in the mix at the past couple of efforts. Should be able to sit handy in run and will give this a mighty shake. KICK ON COMMAND (6) has an enviable winning strike rate and drops back sharply in trip here. Will be hitting the line with gusto. MOENAVE (9) placed a length away from the winner last time at Mackay and drops in the weights, could sneak into the finish. LETMELETGO (3) scored over 1200m at Rockhampton two back then missed the frame last time out over 1300m there. In the mix on best form.
