RACE 1 - ALABAMA STATE (18) lightly raced colt with a ton of upside. Snagged back from the wide gate before warming up late when a narrow fourth over 1200m at this track on September 14. Maps to get the gun run and no excuses with Craig Williams aboard. THE EXTREME CAT (4) returns from a 42-day let-up after motoring late when fourth over 1500m here on August 17. Back in trip and will get the right tempo to figure prominently. UNIQUE AMBITION (12) resumes having last raced in the Queensland Oaks but has yet to miss a place when fresh including a win so expect a good return. TREIZE (11) improved to place second-up and could progress further.

RACE 2 - DUE CALZINI (15) promising gelding who strips fitter after having no luck on resumption when eighth over 1400m at this track on August 31. Extra trip is in his favour and will appreciate the sting out of the ground. Expected to go close. BALLINDERRY SAL (11) won two in a row before coming to town with a total forgive run after having no luck from the wide gate when 11th over 1400m at this track on August 31. Maps well and will prove hard to hold out. EVERIDO (1) third-up here and should get the right tempo today after charging late over 1400m here on September 14. A softer surface helps, and he can take a hand in the finish. MARENARO (3) fourth up for this and not without each-way claims after finishing fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury on September 7.

RACE 3 - STRATHTAY (2) sat off the speed and hooked out in plenty of time when a plugging third as fav over 2400m at Randwick in the LR Tatt's Club Cup behind Redstone Well on September 7. Will relish the sting out of the ground and can return to form here. FIRST LIGHT (5) is working towards a win fourth up and drops 5kg in weight after surging late when fourth over 2400m here in easier company on September 14. Conditions suit and can race a little closer. Each way. CHANGINGOFTHEGUARD (1) imported Galileo gelding third up for this after fading late when fourth over 2400m in the LR City Tatt's Club Cup at Randwick on September 7. A bit of give in the ground will help his cause. CAMPALDINO (7) is building in fitness and could be close to a win off back-to-back placings.

RACE 4 - MARE OF MT BULLER (12) lightly raced mare undefeated second up. Warmed up late with the 60kg when a narrow third over 1500m at this track on September 14. Drops 4.5kg in weight here and races best on rain affected going. Go close. UNUSUAL LEGACY (8) has the slick record of five wins from eight starts and has further improvement to come. Sat off the good tempo and rounded them up effortlessly as fav when winning over 1800m here on September 14. Can race closer from the draw and win again. LINCOLN ROCKS (9) has an impeccable Victorian record winning three of his last five starts. Sat midfield with cover as fav with the 60kg when scoring over 2040m at Moonee Valley on September 7. Fitness will take him a long way here. LAUDING (11) another Victorian from the Maher camp who finished a close up third over 2040m at Moonee Valley behind Lincoln Rocks at latest. Maps well and has each way prospects.

RACE 5 - GATSBY'S (3) blitzed his rivals first up over this track and trip before disappointing as fav when fourth in the G3 San Domenico Stakes over 1100m here on August 31. Kept fresh and J Mac sticks from the good draw. Best figures should see him run well. WINNING PROPOSAL (8) underrated Shalaa filly who gets conditions to suit here. Sat on the speed from the awkward gate when a tough sixth on resumption over 1200m in the G2 Furious Stakes at Randwick on September 7. Maps well on the limit weight and loves rain-affected going. IKASARA (6) has not appeared since winning on debut over 1100m at this track on April 27. Fitted with two trials and must be kept safe. ALTHOFF (2) is next in line.

RACE 6 - Tough race. CADETSHIP (14) fifth up today and the drop in weight will help his cause after boxing on well when sixth over 1500m here on September 14. Winning rider back aboard and no excuses from the low gate. WILLAIDOW (12) kept fresh after sitting on a hot tempo when a disappointing eighth over 1200m here on August 31. Since fitted with a recent 791m trial win and best figures stack up well. HELLAVADANCER (15) raced without luck all prep and gets in light with the 3kg claim. Back in grade and looks excellent each-way value. IRON MAN (21) draws for a soft run and could de dangerous but the chances don't end there.

RACE 7 - SEMANA (4) finds her race today second up and expected to go close. Solid return when fourth over 1400m in the G1 Winx Stakes at Randwick on August 24. Conditions suit and due for a change of luck. AMELIA'S JEWEL (2) first run back for the new stable she attacked the line late when a gritty second over 1400m in the G2 Tramway Stakes at Randwick on September 7. Goes just as well second up and strips much fitter for this back to her own sex. Solid top three contender. TROPICAL SQUALL (1) speared across from the wide gate on resumption before tiring badly in the straight when a poor 10th over 1400m in the G1 Winx Stks at Randwick on August 24. This looks much easier and will get an easier lead today. Fitted with a recent 1000m trial and must be kept safe. ARCTIC GLAMOUR (7) has fitness on her side third up but is likely to drift back from the good gate. Finished off okay when seventh over 1400m in the G2 Tramway Stakes at Randwick on September 7. Keep safe.

RACE 8 - TRAFFIC WARDEN (2) proven colt who returned with plenty up the sleeve when swamping rivals late to win the G2 The Run To The Rose over 1200m at this track on September 14. Won the VRC Sires' last time in and finished a narrow second to Manaal in the ATC Sires'. The one to beat. BROADSIDING (1) classy Too Darn Hot colt who looks set for a big prep. Won four straight last time in, including a dominant 4.5 len victory in the G1 J J Atkins over 1600m at Eagle Farm last June. Fitted with two solid trials and look for him late. LINEBACKER (4) was slow into stride first up before launching late to return good closing splits when fourth in the G2 Run To Rose on September 14 over 1200m. Should race closer here and has the ability to take this out. STORM BOY (3) back to his brilliant best when a slick winner of the G3 San Domenico first up over 1100m. Knocked up late when a plugging third over 1200m in the G2 The Run To The Rose. Poorly drawn but is too classy to dismiss.

RACE 9 - AMOR VICTORIOUS (14) underrated gelding who looks primed for this with the blinkers going on for the first time. Collared late by the smart Ceolwulf when going out hard to finish a gallant third over 1500m at this track on August 31. Big drop in weight and will take catching. NEW ENERGY (7) returned from a five-month spell with an eye-catching sixth over 1300m here in the G2 Theo Marks on September 14. Blake Shinn takes the ride, and he has the figures to take this out. CELESTIAL LEGEND (1) Group 1 miler who showed enough first up over an unsuitable trip when eighth over 1300m here in the G2 Theo Marks on September 14. Goes much better second up and will be strong late. BASES LOADED (8) sat on a hot tempo after having to work hard early from the wide gate when a fighting second behind Encap over 1300m here in the G2 Theo Marks Stakes first up. Drawn out again and sure to figure prominently.

RACE 10 - PHARARI (11) exciting sprinting mare from the Maher yard who comes to Sydney after giving them a galloping lesson when leading throughout for a slick 2.75 len win over 1000m at Sandown-Hillside on September 4. Gets through all conditions and maps to get the gun run. PEACE TREATY (10) Victorian trained mare with the good record of four wins from nine starts. Strips fitter third up and looks up to this stronger contest. CONFESS OUR DREAMS (13) went out in good order and returned just as well when collared late first up for a narrow second at Randwick over 1100m on September 7. Went to a new peak last start and can go one better here. MARTINI MUMMA (15) lightly raced Goulburn mare who started a solid fav on resumption before failing to let down late when a plugging third over 1100m at Randwick on September 7. Undefeated second-up and will sit off the good tempo. The chances don't end there.
