Revved up for this with a recent Deagon trial placing and a strong performance while fresh would not surprise. ARGUABLE (10) was okay when facing the starter for the first time before being tipped out for time to furnish. In the mix. PLAY IT AS IT LAYS (12) draws the inside alley and strips fitter third-up. Respect. ADDICTIVE PIRANHA (11) maiden galloper in first campaign. Unplaced at all three runs, the latest when fourth over 1200m at Warwick nine days ago. Has place claims.
RACE 2 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these at the races for the first time. On the raced brigade POWIAS (3) didn't appreciate the quick back-up last time out but the two runs prior to start the career were good enough to feature in a race like this. Worth another chance. RESOLUTE LADY (12) showed glimpses of ability in her first campaign before being tipped out for time to mature. Tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and can run a race while fresh. HAS BEAN (8) strips fitter second-up from the break and gets Stanley back in the irons. Top-three candidate. SHAPE OF WATER (1) is on debut and any market confidence must be noted. THE QUEEN OF TIME (4) is another to keep an eye on the betting for.
RACE 3 - TOO HARD TO REFUSE (1) has been competing in tougher metropolitan races and will appreciate the drop back in grade here. Is yet to miss a drum in four attempts around this circuit and rates the testing material against this lot. JOVITA (4) resumes here but has a solid first-up record with a win and a placing from three outings. Can run a race while fresh. KOZANI (8) has been just behind the placings in both runs since joining the new stable and will be near his peak now third-up. Top-three contender. GRANNY'S REWARD (9) is two from two over this track and trip and cannot be discounted. TEXAS (5) next in line from the inside marble.
RACE 4 - CHIARO DI LUNA (6) is a consistent mare hitting the top-five at her past 11 starts and strikes a very winnable contest here. Has placed over this journey and looks the one they all have to run down. PROCLAIMER (9) hasn't been too far away in recent efforts and should find this easier than what he has been contesting. Respect from the Freedman stable. WAYFARER'S WAY (8) strips fitter second-up and gets Collett back on from the favourable draw. Should be about the money. BLAZIN' DE QUO (3) was safely held on debut last start but could sneak a place here.
RACE 5 - DEVIL'S RITE (4) has placed two from two over this sprint journey and is drawn to get a gun run in transit from the inside alley. Expected to be right there when the whips are cracking. MR ENCORE (6) loves racing at this circuit with three wins and a second from just four attempts and has placed two from three when first-up. Gets Wiggins in the irons and rates a serious contender while fresh. VOULAIT (7) has placed over this course and distance and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. Looks a must for the multiples. RUSSIAN DIVA (9) disappointed last time out but go on the solid Casino win two back. Worth another chance. FIELDS AMOUR (10) best of the rest from the low draw.
RACE 6 - SUPER QUICK (9) resumes here but the form he showed last preparation was good enough to be competitive in a race like this. Got a confidence building maiden win out of the way before the spell and can return in winning order. GAZZA'S DIAMOND (12) is an honest commodity who has only missed the top-four once in five career outings. Can make it back-to-back victories. NEW YORK GAL (10) has placed two from two over this track and trip and rarely puts in a poor one. May run a race while fresh. TAPIS MAGIQUE (13) has placed at her past three including one over this course and distance. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
RACE 7 - Looks a wide open affair. BOOMI'S BUDDY (1) has been right there at the past three outings and does boast a placing over this track and trip. Gets Tilley on board to navigate from the middle draw and should give backers a sight. ELECTRIC ARROW (5) has just missed the placings at the past couple and will be at peak fitness for this. Strong winning prospects. ROMANTIC THOUGHTS (10) has placed two from four when first-up and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Shapes as one to consider while fresh. HE'S A DEVIL (3) is usually thereabouts and is one for the exotics players.
RACE 8 - Looks a race with many chances. PARUES (8) is knocking on the door of another victory with two consecutive runner-up finishes, is drawn perfectly in gate four and gets 3kg weight relief with the claim. Ticks plenty of boxes. FLASH ZARIZ (7) strips fitter third-up from the spell and has placed over this course and distance. Top-three conveyance. BELLE'S BOY (15) is a bit hit or miss but can feature if he brings his A-game. The well-related TOBA (4) (half to G3 winner Keshi Boom) best of the rest.
