RACE 1 - STARWARD (8) has been right there in both starts to date including placing here at the latest effort. Strikes a winnable contest and can improve enough to play a major role in the outcome. FASHION FLASH (12) placed over this course and distance when facing the starter for the first time and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Has to be included. TREVATT COURT (16) gets a favourable draw and rates a genuine top-three candidate on the debut effort. WHEEPER (9) has shown plenty of ability at the trials and a watch on betting is advised.

RACE 2 - PEACEFUL PRINCE (3) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough to feature in a race like this. Tuned up for this with two recent trials and a bold showing while fresh is expected. ROCK ON ANGEL (11) placed over this track and trip when facing the starter for the first time and will have taken a lot from that race day experience. Stewart sticks in the saddle and looms as the main danger. TORERA (13) resumed in fine fashion with a close-up second at Ipswich and is drawn to get a gun run in transit from gate two. Top-three conveyance. DEEP TIARA (8) has been well in the betting in both starts to date and where there's smoke there's fire. Keep safe. SCOTTVILLE SCOOTER (15) has placed three of five overall and looks one for the exotics players.

RACE 3 - Former Victorian galloper MY NAME IS (1) is having his first run for the new stable but showed plenty of ability down south and this is not an overly strong affair. Revved up for this with two solid trials and is the testing material against this lot. ARISPHERE (4) is one from one over this course and distance and gets the deadly Jones/Gollan combination. Rates a serious danger. HELL AND BACK (2) has placed two from two when fresh and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Worth including first-up. PINK CASHMERE (5) rounds out the selections.

RACE 4 - CRYPTIC PRISM (8) hasn't done much wrong with a win and a second to start the career and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Collis sticks in the irons following a runner-up finish here last time out and should be going very close. WHISKEY AND BEER (7) has won over this course and distance and will find this easier than recent outings. Can improve enough to feature in the finish. HILL BILLY FLYER (1) draws the inside alley and gets 3kg weight relief with the claim. Top-three candidate on best form. BAMBALAM (9) next best in a race with only a handful of chances.

RACE 5 - DIVINE GEM (4) is a consistent commodity who has hit the top-four in nine of her past ten outings. Has placed four from eight around this circuit and deserves her chance to break through. ARAMINTA (5) strips fitter second-up from the break and is drawn to get a cosy run from the inside marble. Could give this a mighty shake second-up. ALLUMEUR (3) has placed two from three here and must be respected from the Heathcote barn. Draws low for Orman and can play a role in the outcome. DUNTROON LASS (6) gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim and may trouble the judge with any luck in running. BADDA BOOM BABY (1) has placed over this track and trip and can earn some minor money.

RACE 6 - DIANA'S AFFAIR (1) has been knocking on the door of another victory with three consecutive runner-up finishes and this is not an overly strong affair. Grows a leg for Orman who has two wins and five placings from ten steers and should be able to sit on speed from the inside draw. Looks the hardest to toss. ULTIMATE OUTCOME (4) is another who has been racing consistently and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim. Capable of playing a major role. GLEN MASSEY (3) has won over this course and distance and is usually thereabouts. Cannot be ignored. STAR CHANCE (8) doesn't win out of turn but may earn a cheque with the right run.

RACE 7 - MERCHANT FLYER (1) absolutely smashed them over this track and trip at the latest effort and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that dominant victory. Orman stays on board and looks the one they all have to run down. LEGER CHASE (6) is one from one around this circuit and will find this easier than her last-start run in town. Can bounce back. FEARLESS THINKING (5) looked good winning on the Gold Coast first-up before maybe suffering from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out. Worth another chance. HOLY FLASH (3) disappointed last start but go on the two solid wins prior. One for the multiples.
