RACE 1 - The babies kick us off. It's hard to go past the Waterhouse/Bott-trained CROWN THE KING (3) given their historical record with two-year-olds. Looked good placing in a recent Randwick trial and is sure to be well-educated. Likely to push forward from the wide draw and can give backers a sight. LUVA FLUTTA (4) was a dominant Sunshine Coast trial winner and gets the services of Orman in the irons. Keep safe. SEQUEL (11) won her only trial here and is drawn to get a cosy run from gate four. In the mix. COOL ARCHIE (2) draws the inside alley and Collett sticks following the recent trial. Respect any market confidence. MISHANI EXTREME (5) next in line.

RACE 2 - The well-named REDFORD (12) got his career off to a strong start stringing three wins together on the bounce before a slightly disappointing effort last time out. Winning hoop Orman reunites and should get a gun run from gate two. Rates the testing material. DEMON DARB (1) has placed over this track and trip and draws the inside marble. Top three contender. SATAY CHICKEN (6) is a last start winner who may earn some minor money. GOOD LIEUTENANT (2) has been racing well on the synthetic surface of late, but he did go close on turf at Ipswich just four starts back. Rates well off those efforts and if he can bring that form back onto the turf, he'll be right in the finish.

RACE 3 - The well-related JUNIPAL (2) (half to 2xG1 winner Palentino) has been plying his trade in much harder NSW contests and will appreciate the sharp drop in grade here. Is a five-time winner over this mile journey and will be rock-hard fit for this. Expected to be right there at the business end. IVERSON (7) is a model of consistency hitting the top five at his past 13 starts and doesn't know how to run a bad race. Rates a serious threat. MILITARY EXPERT (1) hasn't won for a while but has been thereabouts at the past couple and can fill the frame if he brings his best. SEBRING GIRL (6) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort, but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance.

RACE 4 - The Chris Waller-prepared KUREDER (1) has been right there in recent Sydney metropolitan outings and should appreciate dropping in company here. Goes well for Orman who has two wins from three steers and will be rock-hard fit for this. Sure to be there when the judge calls a halt. I AM THE EMPIRE (6) has a handy record over this staying test with two wins and three placings from eight starts and is racing very consistently of late. Worth including. ARTFUL GIRL (4) has put two wins together and gets 2kg off with the claim from the favourable draw. Top three candidate. UNCOMMON VALOUR (8) has been thereabouts in recent efforts shapes as one for exotics players. BEDFORD SQUARE (10) next best from the astute barn.

RACE 5 - MISHANI LILY (1) is racing in a rich vein of form stringing four wins together on the bounce, draws the inside alley and gets 3kg weight relief with the claim. Ticks plenty of boxes. DON'T FORGET JACK (3) won two of three in his first preparation including one over this track and trip. Respect while fresh. GIN A TONIC (2) placed at Group 3 level last campaign and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Top three candidate. SCRIPTED (10) absolutely smashed them at Lismore on debut and while this is tougher, she showed plenty of ability there. This is tougher, but she's from a sharp stable and is expected to be in the finish.

RACE 6 - COUNTYOURBLESSINGS (3) has returned in fine fashion stringing back-to-back Canterbury victories together and is racing with a lot of confidence now. Gets 3kg weight relief with the claim and is expected to be right there at the finish again. AERIAL DANCER (10) has won three of four over this distance range and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Looms as the main danger. The well-related OUTLAWED (5) (half to G2 winner and G1 placed Mamaragan) loves it here at Doomben with two wins and two seconds from just five outings. Has to be included. MOSZUR (8) is first-up but the form she showed when last in work was good enough to feature in a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. CRAZY TRAIN (4) next in line with Maloney in the stirrups.

RACE 7 - CORFE CASTLE (6) sat close to the speed last start and was only 0.4L off the winner at the finish in Open company at the Gold Coast. He was 20-1 there, though this looks to shape similarly and he's been competitive in similar events in the past. Ryan Maloney rides now and he can return to winning ways. KRONENBOURG (1) is first-up here but has won when fresh before and has been revved up for this with two trials. Orman has been in the saddle for both of those and while he is a year between runs, he's a winner fresh in the past, as well as at this course and distance. Can make his presence felt. EVOCATOR (7) did enough first-up and boasts a strong second-up record with two wins from 5 attempts. The claim comes in handy and he's sure to be in the finish.

RACE 8 - NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY (16) didn't do much wrong in her first preparation and does boast a win at this track. She looks to be back in similar form judging by her recent trial and there's still plenty of upside with her. Can roll forward and take plenty of catching. MAJORELLE (3) saves his best form for this distance range winning five from as many attempts. He was just too good when sitting on the speed in a BM82 at Lismore last start and he's performed well in Metro company previously. Rates highly. SCUD (17) is racing well of late and should get her chance from an inside alley.

RACE 9 - HEADWALL (7) made up a stack of ground in a harder race at Flemington last time out and will find this assignment much more to his liking. The step-up to the 1200m now looks ideal and will be at his peak fourth-up from the spell. Rates the testing material. TRIBECA STAR (9) is one from one over this course and distance and rarely puts in a poor one. Cannot be discounted. RALPHIE (3) got the job done at the Gold Coast at the latest effort and Mallyon stays on top. In the mix. SAFEWORK (5) is a three-time winner at this circuit and can trouble the judge with any luck from the sticky draw. BUBBA'S BAY (1) is two from two here, draws the inside alley and gets 3kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes.
