RACE 1 - GREY FOLLY (7) has been trying to win a race for a long time and was unsuited by a wide draw last time out. She has the pole position this time and this field is not strong. It is hard to put her on top because of her record but this is her best chance in a while to win a race. RHINESTONE RORY (4) really attacked the line strongly last time out in the same race as the top pick and finished a head back from the winner in second place. He seldom puts 2 good runs together but is another who can win this without it being a surprise. FOXY EAGLE (6) was also competing in the same race as the top 2 picks and finished a battling seventh after getting back too far in the field. She can do better so don't completely drop her just yet. I LOVE THIS SONG (1) ran his best race yet when finishing runner-up over a mile at Murray Bridge nearly 3 weeks ago. He tries a middle distance for the first time and can continue to improve.

RACE 2 - ALL TOO MYSTI (7) tried her heart out on debut when finishing runner-up by half-a-length at Murray Bridge nearly 3 weeks ago. She has 1.5kg less to carry this time and with the natural improvement that is expected, she can go one better. ENUFF SEDUCTION (5) has looked promising in a couple of runs so far and was second in a stronger field at Morphettville Parks 9 days ago. He also has 1.5kg less to carry this time and should pick up a maiden win at short notice. QUINDIO (12) needed her fresh-up run and has the blinkers back on for this assignment. A 3kg claim will help and she is worth including in all combinations.

RACE 3 - GOLD SPY (1) went close to winning on a couple of occasions last prep and will be a lot stronger this season. He has had a recent trial to help tune him up and in a very open lineup, he is the one to beat fresh up. A market watch is advised. SCANDALIST (10) has been in the money in both of his starts this season since resuming from a spell and she drops 1.5kg in weight from her last run. Jacob Opperman sticks with her and so do we. ARTICULATING (3) had to work too hard early on from a wide draw at Murray Bridge last time out and only battled to hold sixth. He has another wide draw but with a more patient ride early on, he can have a say in the outcome of this race. BENDING AWAY (8) looked ready to race when winning a recent Strathalbyn trail by over 2 lengths without being pushed. The market will be your best guide but this filly has the ability and should give a good account of herself fresh-up.

RACE 4 - MY CRACKLING (2) worked hard to find a spot close to the pace when finishing second at Halidon just over 3 weeks ago and has a superior draw to use this time. She benefits from a 3kg claim and is overdue a winning turn. On top at some each-way value in this. RECIPROCAL (8) rattled home late to finish second at Bordertown last time out as favourite and will be spot-on with his fitness third up. He is set to go one better this time. PAPPIANA (6) missed the start as favourite at Strathalbyn last time out and ended up getting too far back in the running. Her effort for second prior is the guide to use and with the drop back to a mile, she can make amends with an even beginning. SPLASH LANDING (9) has found some form recently and caught the eye with a strong finish at Strathalbyn last time out, finishing third. She will relish the step up to a mile and should settle a touch closer to the pace. If the gaps come at the right time, she can have the last say.

RACE 5 - FAST BUBBLES (2) followed up an impressive maiden win in his penultimate start with a game effort for second by a head as favourite at Strathalbyn 12 days ago. He gets a nice swing in the draw this time and can take this out. Follow your money. HADAR (1) delivered as expected on a heavy track at Hamilton 3 weeks ago and looks to have the scope to go right on with the job now. Stick with him. THERE GOES MY HERO (4) was bought out of NZ last season and just battled fresh up at Balaklava when well-found in the market that day. He has been to the trials since then and got the job done comfortably and should be back on track with his campaign. A win would be no surprise.

RACE 6 - GOGOLF GURU (4) has made up plenty of late ground in her first couple of starts this prep and will be peaking third up. The extra 119m here could make all the difference and she should be among the hardest to beat in this. BYWATERS ROAD (3) has been mixing his form and was sixth in a tougher field at Morphettville Parks 9 days ago after winning at Balaklava before that. He steps up beyond a mile for the first time and is in his rightful grade this time. A 3kg claim will help him. Each way. CUBAN LORD (8) finished fourth for a new stable at Port Lincoln 8 days ago and steps up to a more suitable journey this time. He has some ability and is not out of this. Include.

RACE 7 - PRANCING COUNTESS (13) has been improving with each of her runs back from a spell and fought on solidly for fifth at Halidon last time out. She cops another wide gate but will appreciate the step up in distance here. Her only win to date came on this track over this trip and she should go very close to taking it out. EVENTUALLY (10) looks to have turned a corner with her form and even though she has another wide draw, she can run into the money again. JACOBS GATE (2) ran the race of an improver at Strathalbyn last start and finished third, under a length from the winner. She has a superior gate this time and is up to winning a race like this. Stick with her.

RACE 8 - SABERMETRIC (5) might be out of form but will find this company more to his liking and he has not missed a cheque in 2 starts on this track, including a win. A 3kg will bring his weight down and even from a wide gate, he is the one to beat in this. BIG SHAQ (14) has won 2 of his 3 starts on this track and was good enough to win fresh up on a heavy track at Casterton and his 2 runs since then have also had merit. He'd prefer some cut in the track and with conditions to suit, he can give this a shake. MY HARUCONI (10) has won a trial impressively coming into this and is a fresh winner in the past. Draws ideally and can make a winning return.
