RACE 1 - Tricky race to kick things off with the first crop of two-year-olds stepping out. HIATUS (4) is a Snitzel filly from the smart juvenile stable of T & C McEvoy. She impressed when scoring in a recent Cranbourne trial and is expected to measure right up. MEISHO (6) is a Tagaloa filly from the Busuttin & Young team who has also shown promising signs in her lead-up work. Her dam Dream Chaser has already produced her fair share of winners, she can add to that list. STEEL TRAP (8) and KELORIK (2) are other debutants that should have a market watch on them.

RACE 2 - KINETIC JEWEL (4) was expected to run well fresh of a handy lead-up trial and was up to scratch but just left it a fraction late. Is sure to have come on from that and is already a second-up winner. Expecting her to get the job done. SPIRIT OF CAMELOT (6) is a promising type returning for the Hickmott team. Could need the hitout but expect her to be featuring. SUPER ALANA (10) is already a winner over this trip and fresh. Made a complete mess of her rivals in her lead-up trial suggesting she will be more than forward enough to give this a big shake. LOTZA BUBBLES (2) chased gamely into fifth when resuming on the Parks surface at the latest. Is a noted performer second-up and is a distance specialist. Have to take seriously. ROCKSTAR MEGGSY (1) returns and has to be included in the chances on best figures. Lacks early dash but can make her presence felt late in the piece.

RACE 3 - DOLCEMENTE (9) caught plenty of eyes fresh when rattling home into a midfield finish at Morphettville Parks. Draws to go back again but gets in light with the 2kg claimer engaged and is a great chance to finish right over the top. HIGH ON SUGAR (1) was a hard-fought winner here two back over the same trip. Not as effective last start but was far from disgraced. Easier this time and can get the job done. FLAMBARD (7) has been great in his two runs back despite not having a win to show. Peaking now, just needs some luck from the wide alley. Win won't shock. THE MANSMAN (6) was a barnstorming winner fresh but was a flat second-up. Rise in trip suits third-up and he can bounce back sharply. Inside draw another bonus. EVEN SHARPER (3) is ticking along superbly of late and is another that warrants serious consideration. Low draw can see him settle much closer this time. No shock to see him deep in the finish.

RACE 4 - ANGELIC APPEAL (8) was closing hard on the winner last start but just let too much ground slip at the turn. Drops back in trip but is peaking now and carries a feather with the 2kg claimer aboard. Leading prospect. ENCIPHERING (2) didn't lie down in the lane when resuming with a minor placing two weeks ago. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt as he tackles a similar assignment. Can go a couple better. PROVEN CORRECT (3) comes through the same race and now meets Enciphering slightly better at the weights. Plenty of scope for improvement second-up over a winning track and trip. FALANGHINA (6) left herself with too much to do last start but did rattle home. Was a handy winner over this track and trip earlier in the prep, no reason she can't repeat the dose.

RACE 5 - KARAVAS (2) showed plenty of promise in her debut prep, wasn't quite able to go on with it last campaign but was still up to scratch. Faces her easiest assignment in quite some time and is aided under the big weight with the 3kg claimer engaged. Expect her to prove very tough to stop. PURE AQUA (3) shares a similar tale to Karavas, with their two-year-old form intertwining. Wasn't much between them in the Breeders' Stakes but she does concede weight opting for senior hoop in Toeroek. Right in this. GOLD SPIRIT (5) is expected to roll forward and should be in this for a long way. Keeping safe. ROYAL MAJESTY (9) returns and has worked well in readiness. Holder piloting a push.

RACE 6 - KARACASU (2) found himself too far back last start in the LR W H Wylie but was making good inroads late. Hasn't won for a little while but has plenty of ability and is well placed to give this a mighty shake. Ready. FANCIFY (4) progressed through her grades nicely last campaign, scoring two nice wins over the border in Melbourne. Possesses great tactical speed and is drawn to advantage. Lead-up trial has her primed to give a great sight. Big chance. MASTER EIGHT (1) has been solid in his two runs back without setting the world on fire. Should be nearing his peak now and it's worth noting blinkers go on first time. Toeroek reuniting is a positive and he gets his chance to break a long run of outs. OCEAN REWARD (3) shares similar formlines but now gets a nice pull at the weights and is drawn soft. Win won't shock. TAPINFORPAR (10) is as honest as the day is long. Is sure to take another strong account of himself and is must for exotics.

RACE 7 - ANGLAND (9) hasn't been able to pay the punters in his two runs back but has been far from disgraced. Blinkers on first time will sharpen him up and he's ready to fire. ROGUE ROCKER (6) is going better than his form reads. Lacks tactical speed but has a killer turn of foot. Can cause them a right scare. INTREPID EAGLE (8) didn't offer a yelp when resuming behind a smart one at Flemington. Likely improver second-up and is drawn softly for Holder. Sharp improvement anticipated. EASY CAMPESE (2) strung some nice runs together last campaign. Goes super over this trip and strips fitter for a handy lead-up trial. Drawn awful but should be kept safe.

RACE 8 - ANDREW'S MEMORY (4) lived up to his smart trial to burst through late and score at headquarters when resuming. No tougher this time, just lugs more weight. Can repeat the dose. HOWL (1) is yet to his straps this campaign but has shown glimpses. Will appreciate the rise in trip and is aided under the big weight with the 2kg claimer engaged. Watch for him launching late. THE GOLDEN FIST (10) carries solid formlines and has built nicely into this campaign. Draws softly with gun hoop in Toeroek piloting. Interesting to note blinkers go on first time. Sure to be very competitive. WATCHME WIN (11) has come on nicely in his debut prep. Drawn ugly but deserves respect.

RACE 9 - THIRSTY GUEST (9) was super when returning three weeks ago, settling back late before rocketing home into the placings. Looks the perfect set-up as he steps out to the mile second-up. Gets in low at the weights and is drawn soft. Bold showing anticipated. DUBAI POET (5) has been freshened with a 31-day break after just missing in the LR Balaklava Cup last start. Gets a nice pull at the weights over some of his main rivals and is a great chance to break a long run of outs. FAVOURITE CHILD (4) is in career best form and knows this circuit well. Gets in low at the weights and warrants respect. MARACOURT (11) next best. Stayed on better than most last time.

RACE 10 - MOTORACE (6) lengthened nicely to get the verdict with a bit up his sleeve at the latest. Added trip looks no query on the quick back-up and he can score again. ARUGAMAMA (1) is yet to find her best form this campaign but there's no denying she's got ability. Relishes this trip and will appreciate having Holder back piloting. Sharp improvement anticipated. DUNALLEY (8) doesn't win out of turn but is a consistent mare. Is a winner over this trip and is drawn to get all the favours. Likely to feature. GHETTO SUPASTAR (15) flashed home behind Motorace last week, now meeting him better. Draws to go back again but is capable of finishing over the top. BIG STORY (14) is another get back run on operator. Don't underestimate.
