RACE 1 - AMBER NOOK (8) was improved third-up over a similar trip at Gawler when filling the frame. Should be peaking now and is ready to land the winning blow. Just needs a sprinkle of luck from the wide draw. STECARA (12) is yet to find the placings in four runs but has shown glimpses of ability. Strips fitter and is well-placed to play a major role. SAZERAC (11) was better last start when closing off solidly from the back to just miss the placings. Rock-hard fit now and is drawn kinder. One of the main hopes. I LOVE THIS SONG (2) was far below his best last start over a longer trip at Gawler. Better suited over the mile and is drawn softly. Don't dismiss.

RACE 2 - SAKASU (3) finds the maiden win elusive but was much better at the latest when closing off quickly into second. Suggest he has more to offer. Expect him to drift back from the draw and be taking big strides late. PAGANINI (8) stuck on soundly into a midfield finish on debut at Gawler. Is sure to have come on with that run under his belt and Tourneur sticking is a positive. Watch for sharp improvement. IT'S A SOLID DEEL (6) was only fair when resuming in town off a decent break at the latest. May need another run but gets in low at the weights again with the 2kg claimer sticking and deserves a big market watch. ROLL START (16) looks to have progressed nicely during the break off the back of a solid trial here in readiness. No shock to see her feature.

RACE 3 - NEVER SURRENDER (4) has found it tough to notch up his second win but is going better than his form reads. Profiles strongly back at this level and has gun hoop in Holder sticking. Wide gate the only query. RULING GODDESS (10) is yet to strike through this campaign but is knocking on the door. Drops back to a winning trip fourth-up and is drawn favourably. Big chance. JOVIALE (1) made light work of his rivals last start at Mildura when shedding the maiden tag. Open to further improvement third-up and deserves consideration. COLORADO CRUZ (6) didn't offer a yelp fresh but is capable of a much stronger showing with that run out of the way. Don't abandon.

RACE 4 - RED ROOF (6) had been going better than his form suggests before closing off quickly into second at the latest. Hasn't won for a long time but shoulders a handy record over this trip and is a great chance to break a long run of outs. ONE SKY ABOVE US (7) is another that is close to breaking through, not beaten that far of late despite finishing outside of the placings. Peaking now and is drawn to get all the favours. Bold showing anticipated. GOGOLF GURU (5) has hit the line nicely in each of her three runs back, without threatening the winner. Is a two-time winner over this track and trip and has gun hoop in Holder sticking. Don't take lightly. ALPINE BEAU (3) has struggled to threaten of late but strikes a more suitable assignment this time. Keeping safe on best figures.

RACE 5 - WILLASTON (7) returned to form last start when winning scoring by a nose at Morphettville Parks. Drawn sticky but should be full of confidence and can go on with it. MAY'S WEST (13) doesn't score out of turn but did come close two back at Balaklava. Was well-supported last start but could only manage fourth. Draws favourably now and is among the key chances. I TELL YA WHAT (2) returns and will be looking to pick straight back up from where he left off last time in. Lead-up trial here will have him forward enough and 3kg claimer goes on to aid the big weight. In the mix. DAWNBURST (11) hold genuine claims on best figures and is worth keeping safe. Not out of it.

RACE 6 - WE'VE GOTTA DEEL (7) has turned into quite the bridesmaid of late with three consecutive seconds. Gets some weight off with the slight raise in grade. Doesn't need to improve much to be getting the job done. SALUTE THE STARS (10) hasn't won for a very long time but is knocking on the door. Boasts a handy record over the track and trip and gets in well at the weights. Expect to see him charging hard late in the piece. AMERICAN TROUBLE (11) wasn't far away when resuming here two back. Not as effective last start at Gawler but can bounce back sharply third-up. Don't underestimate. GOT AN INSPIRATION (1) beat home We've Gotta Deel last start. Concedes weight to him now but has to be respected.

RACE 7 - FALAISE (2) warmed nicely to his task over the concluding stages fresh and then followed it up with an eye-catching finish last start in a tougher grade. Peaking now and is expected to take some stitching. FLAMBARD (3) looked to be nearing a win before turning in a poor one last start at Murray Bridge. Strikes an easier assignment this and is a track and trip winner. Can bounce back sharply. CAPTAIN JOOLIAN (1) progressed nicely second-up when chasing gamely into the placings. Further improvement is anticipated third-up. Winning chance. CHARM SLINGA (7) was well below his best last start but had been ticking along nicely prior. Expect him to settle back early before letting rip in the lane. Don't dismiss. PULAMBI (12) next best.
