RACE 1 - WINEACLOCKSUMWHERE (7) showed good improvement last start at York when only 14L off the winner when sitting on the speed. She bumped into a smart one there and there doesn't appear to be a horse like that in this event. Can press on from the draw and go one better this time. COZZIES CHOICE (12) went around in a much stronger race on debut and drops right back in grade today. Martinan hops in the saddle now claiming 1.5kg and she should get every chance from the draw. Expecting her to go close. COSTA STAR (10) resumes without a trial today following a solid run in Open 2YO grade on a Saturday at Belmont. She's drawn well for Nicoll and if she can pick up where she left off, she'll take beating. NEW ATTRACTION (5) disappointed at the end of last campaign but her prior form was great. Can feature. IMPENDING FEATURE (6) can build on a solid fresh effort.

RACE 2 - RALLY THE TROOPS (12) has contested two strong races to behind his career and looks to get plenty in his favour today. He gets the blinkers on first time today and he looks well suited stepping out in distance now. Faithfull strikes at 20% when riding for Team Pearce and he can shed the maiden tag. MYTHICAL DREAM (2) was strong over this course and distance last time out when rattling home from the back as favourite, beaten 1.9L. He can settle a touch closer today and the added fitness on his side is a big tick. Wouldn't surprise to see him go one better. CRYSTAL ROSE (10) has had plenty of goes now, though turned in a bad effort here most recently. Her form prior was much better than that. Expect her to sit on the speed from a good draw today and be in front for a long way. BIG BONED BAZ (6) showed good improvement last start and can feature with the blinkers on first time. CENTRALLA (8) can build on the fresh effort.

RACE 3 - IRONCLAD BOY (1) drops right back in trip today following a disappointing effort at Bunbury most recently. He's never raced over this trip, but he comes into this on the fresh side and Azzopardi is in form of late. Can bounce back today and get back to winning ways. SPARKLE CORNER (5) jumped favourite first-up over 1213m here and faded late to be beaten 1.2L. He'll be fitter for that effort and he maps to get every chance from an inside barrier this time. Looks an improver today if he can build on the fresh effort, he'll go close. STEVIE'S MAY (8) jumped a 3-1 chance first-up over 1100m here and didn't have the best of luck from well back in the run. Getting away from the inside rail is a big tick and a much better effort is expected this time. RAZMAS (3) just missed last start at York and can be in the finish. FINE LINE (9) comes into this first-up and without a trial. Drawn well though and can be in the finish if he's fit enough.

RACE 4 - ODIN OMEN (8) was too good over 1400m here last start and now steps out to the mile again. The draw is a little sticky, though he did run on strongly from midfield last time out. This is no harder and with a nice run in transit, he can get the job done. DAIYAMONDO (3) zoomed home to just miss behind Odin Omen last time out and meets him better at the weights today. She's 1/1 over the mile and she mightn't be as far back today after jumping slowly last time out. Can turn the tables without surprising. MANHATTAN JEWEL (4) let them up last start and was just too good at York, running away to win by 1.4L. She has the speed to press on from out wide and can make her own luck on speed. Still has some upside and is sure to go close. FORBIDDEN APPLE (6) as too good over 1400m here last time out and has winning claims. GEORGE GENTLY (2) can improve getting out to the mile now with the tongue tie going on again.

RACE 5 - MIA GUSTO (1) just missed over 1200m here when running on from midfield. She draws well again today for the in-form Azzopardi and she's racing in strong form. Ratings stack right up in this race and she's won 2/4 at this trip. She looks the one to beat. SURE NO SOMETHING (4) rattled home first-up over 1200m here to be beaten 1.8L. He's a second-up winner in the past and he's also a winner at this track and trip. He'll need some luck from the draw but if the breaks come, he'll be right in the finish. MAKE MINE SUPER (3) won three on-end at this track prior to the spell and looked to be working his way through the grades. He's 2/2 at this course and distance and his recent trial was solid. Can be handy in the run and get the job done. SAFE HUSTLE (7) went close over this course and distance last start and will carry no weight after the apprentice claim. Big chance. JUSTHANDY (6) is better than we saw last start and can bounce back dropping back to this distance.

RACE 6 - WELL PLAYED (3) closed off strongly over 1200m here fresh and should be suited by the rise in distance. The first-up effort rated right alongside where she left off last campaign and this looks a much nicer set up for her today. Can build on the fresh effort and get the job done. THE RUSH (4) just missed when running on nicely over this course and distance 11 days ago. This looks a similar set up today and she was the equal favourite in that race. Ticking along nicely and is expected to go close again. MANHATTAN STRIP (1) couldn't hold on when leading the field up over this track and trip 21 days ago, beaten 1.1L. He draws a much better gate this time though and Faithfull replaces the apprentice hoop. He'll be in this for a very long way. MIFF MUFFERED MOOF (11) closed off in eye-catching fashion last star55t and has to be included. STATE OF FURY (7) will find this easier than last start and has claims.

RACE 7 - SNIPPY WHICH (6) was too good over 1200m here as favourite when winning by 1.3L in fine style. He rises in trip now for the first time today and he should get the run of the race from barrier one. He's building a handy record and with improvement expected now, he's set to go back-to-back. PATCHWORK (4) got the job done here fresh before a 1.3L defeat most recently at 1200m. He boasts a strong record over this track and trip and he now gets Carbery in the saddle third-up. Expecting him to go close to winning. STARCHIENNE (9) rattled home in slick sectionals over 1200m here last time out when finishing behind Snippy Which. Back up to 1400m is a big tick and she looks to get her chance on the map. She's got a strong third-up record and should be right in the finish. WHAT A PRINCE (1) stuck on well fresh and will be fitter for that effort. Worth including. GALAXY AFFAIR (3) was good at Kalgoorlie last start and will find this much easier.
