RACE 1 - LADY PARVATI (7) has been thereabouts in the past four outings and strikes a very winnable contest here. Drops back in trip and should be hitting the line with gusto. POSTMAN'S GAP (2) has gotten better with each run in his career to date and the 1700m now looks ideal. Looms as the main danger. OPTIMUS MAXIMUS (8) has placed one from one over this distance range and will be rock-hard fit for this. In the mix. FORT DENISON (4) has been plying his trade in town of late and will find this assignment easier. Top-three conveyance. PARRA (6) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances.

RACE 2 - STELLAR LADY (4) resumes here but the form she has shown in previous preparations is good enough to feature in a race like this. Tuned up for this with a recent trial victory and draws low with the 3kg claim. Ticks plenty of boxes. MY NAME IS (1) placed over this track and trip last time out and strips fitter third-up from the spell. Can make his presence felt. MISSION RIDGE (2) has won over this course and distance and may run a race while fresh. Top-three hope. MACHINE HEAD (3) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and is a must for the multiples. ANGELIC BOOM (6) shed the maiden tag last start and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Can trouble the judge.

RACE 3 - Former NSW galloper MISS REILLY (6) has transferred to Waller's QLD stable now and will find this easier than what she faced down south. Has placed two from two when fresh and should take some beating in this line-up. TIPPED OFF (4) returned in good order with a runner-up finish at Warwick and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Right in this. BOW TIE AFFAIR (1) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and any market confidence must be noted. BE FRIENDLY (3) gets 2kg weight relief with the claim and may earn some minor money.

RACE 4 - CALVARY (4) placed on debut at Murwillumbah before being tipped out for time to furnish. Has since returned with a strong win there and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Can go back-to-back. ALPHA BRAVO (1) has placed two from four over this journey and will be at his peak now fourth-up from the spell. Can play a role in the outcome. CARRAVILLA (5) has placed around this circuit and is one for the exotics players. WHAT A DOOZY (3) has strung two wins together on the bounce and cannot be ignored.

RACE 5 - COSMIC BEAUTY (1) got the maiden out of the way when resuming and winning hoop Jamieson sticks in the irons. Drawn to get a cosy run in transit from the inside alley and looks the one they all have to run down. GLEBE (4) has been racing in harder contests at metropolitan level and must be respected from the Waller camp. Strong top-three credentials. DEAR PRUDENCE (2) didn't let supporters down at the latest effort and gets 2kg off with the claim. Capable of another big performance. QUALITY MISS (5) broke the maiden status over this trip last start and can go right on with the job now. MILAGRO (9) is usually thereabouts and looks one for the multiples.

RACE 6 - The well-related WEST CORK (6) (half to G1 winner Qafila) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Has placed three from five around this circuit and looks ready to bounce back to his best. RECANATI (4) is knocking on the door of another victory with three consecutive placings including a close-up runner-up finish over this course and distance at the latest effort. Has to be included. WATERMELON (5) strips fitter second-up from the break and draws well in gate two. Top-three contender on best form. NAILS AND PRIDE (8) best of the rest while fresh.

RACE 7 - TOOLATEMATE (6) has placed over this track and trip and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble. Should be right there at the business end.
