RACE 1 - SHEKINAH (10) put in a career-best performance when runner-up here last time out and may have turned the corner now. Cormack sticks in the irons and should be going very close against this lot. RUN FREDA RUN (6) has placed two of three overall here and strikes a winnable contest. Looms as the main danger. ICONIC PRINCE (2) just missed the placings here at the latest effort and will be at peak fitness for this. Top-three conveyance. ONE PERCENT (1) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and any market support must be noted.
RACE 2 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade TINKERBELLA (8) just missed the placings in town on debut and will find this assignment much easier. Is sure to have taken benefit from that race day experience and looks the one they all have to run down. NOSEY NEO (3) wasn't disgraced here on debut and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Can shed the maiden tag. DON'TDOUBTHELADY (7) couldn't have been more impressive winning a recent trial here at this circuit and draws the inside marble. A watch on betting is advised. TARONG (4) went down by the barest of margins last time out and looks to be nearing a maiden victory. In the mix. BOLLA BOLLA BABE (6) is another on debut and any push in the market must be respected.
RACE 3 - DUBIOUS LOVE (4) placed at Mackay on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Revved up for this with a recent trial victory here and may run a big race while fresh. SAY IT LOUD (5) is at the races for the first time but is another to have won a recent trial at this circuit and any market confidence must be noted. STELLAR LEGEND (1) is also on debut but draws low and should be kept safe. TOSSIT (14) has hit the top five in all four outings to date and is a must for the multiples.
RACE 4 - TIGER LEGEND (1) bounced back to winning form last time out when well in the market and has been racing very consistently of late. Has placed over this track and trip and should give backers a sight. MONTENEGRO MAN (2) is a four-time winner around this circuit and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Rates a serious contender. JANEAN (6) is four from four at this venue and will be rock-hard fit for this. Has to be included in exotics. CALM SEEKER (8) gets in light with the claim and rounds out the selections.
RACE 5 - STREET GLORY (4) got a well-deserved victory at the latest effort after a string of placings and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Gets Wiggins on from the inside marble and should give this a mighty shake. SCHOONA THE BETTER (8) has been plying his trade in harder contests and will appreciate the drop in grade here. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. YUBETIDO (3) has put two wins together on the bounce and has solid claims on recent form. The well-related MURRAJONG ROAD (2) (half to 2xG2 winner Imelda Mary) has won around this circuit and gets 3kg weight off with the claim. Top-three candidate on best form. CHASING JACKLEY (1) was too bad to be true last start and is worth another chance.
RACE 6 - PENMAN (10) has a handy record over this course and distance with a win and two placings from four attempts and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. PRETTY SLICK (1) is a very consistent campaigner who has only missed a drum once in ten outings over this track and trip. Cannot be underestimated. BARNEY RABBLE (2) has placed two from four around this circuit and can feature if forward enough after the spell. CALL ME MARILYN (8) is a three-time winner here who is usually thereabouts. Can earn some minor money. GILBERT'S GOLD (9) strips fitter second-up and may improve enough to play a role in the outcome.
RACE 7 - The penny has dropped for DEVIL DEVIL (4) who has two wins and a second from three runs this preparation and winning hoop Stanley sticks in the saddle. Should appreciate the six furlongs here and can continue the consistent run of form against this line-up. EARLY FUSION (1) has won three of his past five and gets 3kg off from the favourable draw. Ticks a few boxes. I'M BLUEY (6) has placed over this track and trip and draws the inside alley. Can run a race while fresh. Former Victorian galloper GRAYSONG (5) will find this easier than what he faced down south and any market push must be respected. INVICTUS LAD (3) has been racing consistently in lesser grade and may measure up with any luck in running.
RACE 8 - It's hard to fault the form of PIPISTRELLE (1) who has three wins and a second from four runs this time in work and drops back in trip after a bit of a freshen up. Should be hitting the line with gusto. MAGIC GAME (10) has put back-to-back victories together and it's hard to ignore mares in form. Winning hoop Stanley sticks and rates a serious contender on recent efforts. ALEACO (7) has a handy record over this track and trip with a win and two placings from four attempts. Top-three contender. ROY'S ROAD (9) gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim and can trouble the judge from the low draw. I PROMISE YOU (2) loves racing at this circuit with three wins and three placings from just seven outings. Worth some consideration.
