RACE 1 - COSSACK WARRIOR (2) hasn't raced since May but has shown enough to suggest he's a chance here fresh. Trialling well and commands some respect. ARTIC PANTHER (1) has had a few chances but sat handy and boxed on okay at Moree last week. Should run well. KOVANOS (5) was racing well before a break but two runs back only fair at Scone. Less depth here so open to some improvement. PREVARICATE (6) is next best then KERMALICIOUS (7).

RACE 2 - OH NO BRO (1) has struck top form with twpo wins on end and drops in class on winning at Quirindi over 2000m. Up in weight but down in class and has to be respected. MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN (2) disappointed last time but form prior was pretty solid. Worth another chance. DON QUIXOTE (3) can be a bit hit and miss but is also back in grade after running fourth in the same race as Oh No Bro. In the mix. EASTOWIN (8) and SUIT DAY (5) have claims.

RACE 3 - DON'TKNOWYET (1) resumed with a solid third at Muswellbrook last week and lands in a winnable race with a soft barrier. Entitled to go close. MAGIC SORCERER (6) was a beaten favourite two runs back then just fair at Quirindi last time. Better suited here. KUNDERANG (5) is fitter for two runs back and improved when close up fourth over 1100m here. Up in distance and while he's had a few chances he has another one. HOLY MACKEREL (4) and MOON TREATY (7) are worth thought.

RACE 4 - IMPRESSIONISM (5) was a big drifter at his debut at Quirindi and battled a bit after leading. Will be better for that and drawn well so expect him to be harder to beat. CONSIDERED (7) is a big watch on debut for top stable. Has trialled okay and any support for her would be significant. IT'S A WRITTEN (8) has been handy in two runs back from a break and not beaten far last time at Tamworth. With luck can be in the finish. STAFFA (11) and DUBIOUS SIX (4) have some claims.

RACE 5 - RUSSLEY TIARA (8) has been racing well with a win at Tamworth three runs back and made some ground from too far back at Muswellbrook. Drawn okay here and down sharply in weight. Go well. PARIS LAD (2) is consistent this time in and was close up in his third-up run at Muswellbrook. Blinkers come off and well worth another chance. CASHMERE INN (11) has placed in three of her last four and while strike rate is poor she could be placed again. PRINCESS MARY (1) and BLUE STEEL (3) have claims.

RACE 6 - RUSSLEY CROWN (1) didn't find his best second-up but has been freshened and on his best form he would take plenty of running down. Good chance to bounce back. RHYTHM IS A DANCER (2) is racing in consistent form and hard to think he wouldn't be in the finish somewhere. ARCTIC LEGEND (6) is fitter for one run back and has a good overall record so if he can improve with over a month between runs. LEICA MODEL (5) and VIS I DO (8) are worth including in the chances.

RACE 7 - SWANBROOK GEM (7) scored a popular win here last time and continued her good form at this track. Drawn to get a nice run again and hard to beat. THE LUPERCAL (2) found his best with a strong win at Moree from on the pace last week. Capable of going on with it. SPIRIT OF PLUTO (4) charged home from the back to win here two weeks ago under a big weight. Up in class but drawn soft and has claims. CHOICE WITNESS (5) and THE AFFIRMATIVE (10) are place hopes.
