RACE 1 - PRESS EXPRESS (9) gave backers a bold sight and fought hard in the lane when finishing behind what looks a smart one first-up in town. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and will hunt across early again from the wide draw to race prominently. A repeat effort has her winning. COSMIC RIDE (11) lost her position at the corner when the poised to strike fresh and struggled to go on after that. Kept fresh for her second-up assignment as she drops back in trip and gets a key booking in Nunes. Watch for sharp improvement. NARALINGA (3) improved sharply in his second start when beaten a neck at Naracoorte. Raced much better with a change of tactics and should look to implement the same early aggression again. Expecting him to be in this for a very long way. Debutants ALLOY (10) and FRENCH DELICACY (12) have impressed in their trials and have key jockey bookings. Respect any market support.

RACE 2 - SAKASU (2) finds it tough to get off the mark, but it certainly hasn't been without trying. Has turned in some really strong performances without winning and only has to be somewhere near that mark to take care of this field. Tricky alley is the only knock. THAVMA (4) battled on evenly into a midfield finish when resuming in town eight days ago. Strips fitter on the short turnaround and will appreciate the added trip. Main danger. FLYING YANK (9) was solid when resuming without threatening an impressive winner here. Not as effective last start but can bounce back sharply off 33-day break for third-up assignment. I AM RALPH (5) was unwanted on debut but did warm to his task nicely over the concluding stages. Improvement to come and is worth keeping safe.

RACE 3 - ROYAL VICTORY (9) worked into the race nicely last start at Morphettville over this trip and fought hard in the lane to just miss. That puts him in great stead for this on the eight-day turnaround. Only needs to hold his form to take some beating. AMBER NOOK (11) finds the maiden win elusive but continues to finish thereabouts. The form around her has been sticking up and she gets a key booking in Holder. Wide draw the only knock. I LOVE THIS SONG (5) was much better in town last start and is worth some thought with Nunes sticking. HOLPIN (3) is going better then his form suggests and can play a role.

RACE 4 - SHEARMAN DYER (3) wasn't far away two back at Morphettville when just missing the frame. Not as impressive last start at Mildura but can turn things around quickly with Holder taking back over. AMERICAN TROUBLE (12) is yet to strike through this campaign but has been thereabouts. Peaking now and gets a key booking in Nunes. Watch for her charging late on quick back-up. THINK TANK (5) was much better last start when narrowly missing the frame. Is another who can improve on the short turnaround and is among the chances. HOSTESS SUSIE (9) has been below her best in her last two but is capable of turning things around.

RACE 5 - DAZZLING PROSPECT (3) got motoring late when resuming at Morphettville, taking good ground off his rivals to nab a minor placing. Will relish the rise in trip and is a second-up winner. Doesn't possess much early speed so could land in a sticky spot from the inside alley. Just needs the gaps to appear. ENCIPHERING (4) has been thereabouts in his three runs back. Peaking now and is another will appreciate the added trip. Main danger. A TOUCH FROSTY (8) couldn't live up to market expectation fresh but was far from disgraced. Expect him to drift back again from the wide draw and be charging hard late. ESKY (2) returned with a bang at Gawler. Lugs a big weight but has more to offer.

RACE 6 - MY HARUCONI (5) battled on evenly into a midfield finish when resuming last month. Kept on the fresh side for his second-up assignment as he drops back in trip. Draws to get the gun run. Bold showing anticipated. IN LOVE (4) put the writing on the wall last start when nabbed on the line at Balaklava. Will charge forward again and take some chasing down. JAMAICAN GOLD (6) went desperately close to resuming a winner last start at Port Lincoln. Has more to offer second-up and is sure to give himself every chance up on speed. VOLCANIC EXPRESS (1) is a lightly-raced five-year-old ready to make his return after enjoying a successful time of it last campaign. Expect him to drift back from the wide alley and be saved for the final shot at them.

RACE 7 - FOREVER WAITING (3) went one better last start at Naracoorte when arriving just in time to score by a lip. Full of confidence now and there's no reason he can't go on with it over the longer trip. SUGGESTIVE MISS (8) hasn't broken through for a very long time but is knocking on the door. Rates highly on best figures and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claimer engaged. Gets her chance to break the drought. ONE SKY ABOVE US (6) was too tough for them last start when fending them all off at Morphettville. Carries more weight this time but is worth following up. THE GREY KING (9) left himself with too much to do last start at Naracoorte but had been ticking along nicely prior. Willing to forgive but has to contest a horror draw.
