RACE 1 - ALDEENAARY (5) is a bit of a hit or miss type but boasts a win over this staying trip and is another to get some weight relief. One of the main hopes. SIMPLY REFUSE (7) has placed two from two over this distance range and must be respected from the Bruce barn. Top-three aspirations. BEDFORD SQUARE (1) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the multiples.
RACE 2 - AERIAL DANCER (7) has hit a purple patch of form winning three of her past five outings including one over this course and distance two back. Goes well for Stewart who has three wins from only four steers and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. Former Victorian QUEEN AIR (10) returned in good order with a handy third at Doomben and will have taken a lot from that hit-out. Should find this easier than what she faced down south and a strong showing would not surprise. NAVAL SEAL (9) has placed two from two around this circuit and must be respected from the Waller stable. Top-three candidate. SKYFORGER (5) couldn't have been more impressive saluting by a whopping six lengths last time out and will have taken a stack of confidence from that victory. Cannot be left out of calculations. The well-related BEAUTANTES (3) (half to G1 winner Startantes) best of the rest.
RACE 3 - It's hard to fault the form of CHERRY ROSE (7) who has five wins and two placings from just seven career starts to date with Stanley being in the irons for all five victories. It's hard to knock mares in form and she should be going very close again. INSTAGOOD (8) gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim and must be respected from the Gollan barn. Top-three contender. EN POINTE (1) is a bit hit or miss but is more than capable on her day. In the mix on best form. MIXED SIGNALS (14) was a touch flat last time out but the three wins prior were full of merit. Worth another chance.
RACE 4 - The penny has dropped for FIND YOUR OWN (9) who has won four of his past six outings with Callow being in the irons for the past two victories. Loves this sprint journey around this circuit and rates among the leading chances. SALTAIRE (3) strips fitter third-up, draws low and gets some weight off with the 2kg claim. Ticks a few boxes. BOHEMIAN LAD (15) resumes here but has a strong first-up record and may run a race while fresh. QUEEN ASSASSIN (4) has a handy winning strike rate and has tuned up for this with a couple of recent trials. In the mix.
RACE 5 - BUSTING (10) saves his best form for this six-furlong journey with two wins and a second from just three attempts and should be ready to peak now third-up from the spell. Goes well for hoop Jones who has two wins and a second from five steers and is sure to make his presence felt. HELL (2) has strung four wins together on the bounce and is racing with a lot of confidence. Gets 2kg weight relief from the inside alley and should prove very tough to hold out again. MILLANE (6) loves this course and distance with two wins and five placings from nine starts. Strips fitter second-up and is a genuine top-three candidate on best form. GOLDEN DECADE (1) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough to be competitive in a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. PAYLINE (9) rounds out the selections.
RACE 6 - The $200,000 Listed Gold Edition. It's hard to fault the form of SCRIPTED (7) who won both starts to date in impressive fashion before being tipped out for time to furnish. Revved up for this with two recent trials and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Rates the testing material. HELLA FAST (2) is another unbeaten galloper winning both outings around this circuit and looks ready for the six furlong journey now. Looms as the main danger. SUPERALLOY (1) has been in the mix in all three starts this prepration and looks one for the multiples again. KAHLISEE (10) strips fitter third-up from the spell and may earn some minor money.
RACE 7 - The $300,000 Group 3 Grand Prix Stakes. MOON SWEEPER (5) was a dominant Doomben winner at the latest effort and winning hoop Thornton sticks in the saddle. Drawn to get a gun run in transit from gate two and should be going very close again. APUNTAR (2) finished second behind Moon Sweeper last time out and has a handy record at this circuit with a win and a second from just two outings. Only needs some luck from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the outcome. BLUEPINOT (7) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Top-three credentials. BEAU DAZZLER (1) got up to Group 1 level when last in work and will strip fitter third-up from the break. Include from the inside alley. SQUEEZEBOX (6) has turned the corner this preparation and may earn some minor money again.
RACE 8 - The $200,000 Listed Lough Neagh Stakes. ABOUNDING (10) returned in fine fashion with a strong win in the Tatts Classic and goes well for Harley who has four wins and three placings from just ten steers. Has placed two from three when second-up and should be right there when the whips are cracking. PRINCE OF BOOM (2) wasn't too far off them when resuming and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Has a bit of class on this field and should be going very close. MIDNIGHT IN TOKYO (11) has placed two from two around this circuit and should be near her peak now third-up from the break. Top-three commodity. OUGHTON (4) got the job done at the latest outing and will have taken some confidence from that victory. Cannot be overlooked. CIFRADO (1) only needs some luck from the sticky draw to be playing a role in the outcome.
RACE 9 - Looks a wide open affair. ZOOLOGY (9) has been plying his trade in harder NSW contests and should find this assignment easier than what he has been facing down south. Improving with each Australian run and may have found the right race here. Shapes as a leading contender. BOOM SHOT (6) is a consistent type who has only missed the top-five once in nine career outings. Has placed two from two around this circuit and his best form puts him right in contention. FLYWHEEL (18) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and will be at peak fitness for this. In the mix. RUNWITHTHETIDE (8) handles all going and looks one for the exotics players. LORD OF BISCAY (17) strips fitter second-up from the spell and must be respected from the Lees camp.
RACE 10 - EXOTIQUE MISS (13) goes well for Melbourne Cup winning hoop Dolan who has two wins and two placings from seven rides and is a three-time winner around this circuit. Drops back slightly in trip now and should be hitting the line with gusto. ROGUE BEAR (12) has placed two from two over this distance range and will be rock-hard fit for this. Can bounce right back to form in this contest. FELIX THE SCAT (10) disappointed last time out but go on the strong Doomben win when resuming. Strips fitter now and is a genuine top-three commodity. LOGAN STREET LION (6) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and can feature in the finish with the right run in transit. BROOKHAVEN (9) rounds out the selections.
