RACE 1 - The well-related NAPA VALLEY (4) (half to G1 winner Capital Gain) has placed around this circuit and draws the inside marble. Sure to be sent around a short priced favourite after scratchings. MORE YOU THINK (3) has placed over this distance range and appears the main danger while SASSY TAP (6) rounds out the trifecta.

RACE 2 - The well-related ZINOTAR (7) (half to G1 winner Music Magnate) has been right there in both starts this campaign and strikes a very winnable contest here. Has placed around this circuit and will strip fitter third-up from the spell. Rates the testing material. EIGHT CYLINDERS (3) also hails from a handy family (full to G3 winner and G2 placed Cylinder Beach) and has placed over this course and distance. Will be rock-hard fit for this and can make his presence felt with any luck from the outside draw. JOHNTIALJO (9) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances.

RACE 3 - MOSZUR (3) has hit the top-five in all three runs this time in work and should find this much easier than what she has been facing in town. Ready to peak fourth-up from the break and will be going very close. OUTBURST (6) has won over this course and distance and while he is one of the outsiders in the small field, he rates well and has to be included in the main chances. THESECONDATPORTSEA (4) wasn't far off the mark last start and he should appreciate the drop back in grade. Clear danger.

RACE 4 - COLLEAGUES (1) (full to 2xG3 winner and G1 placed Annavisto) is first-up here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough to feature in a race like this. Can run a race fresh. AMERICAN PRESIDENT (2) drops back sharply in grade and expecting good improvement, especially following a few key scratchings. FEARLESS THINKING (10) has won on the heavy before and appears the next in line.

RACE 5 - NEW HAMPSHIRE (2) hails from a handy family (half to G1 winner Levendi) and returned to the winners' stall at the latest effort. Winning hoop McMurray sticks in the irons and again gets the benefit of his 2kg claim. Should be right there at the business end. MR ENCORE (1) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the multiples. GALACTIC LEGEND (4) is capable when right and has to be included on his home track.

RACE 6 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. BRAZEN SAILOR (2) was a strong Gold Coast winner on debut and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Likely improver who should run well again. SHEMAKESMENERVOUS (6) has been right there in all three career outings and looks to be improving with racing. Top-three credentials. MILESTONE (14) was well in the betting on debut and where there's smoke there's fire. Respect any market confidence. GRAFTERBURNERS (3) next in line.

RACE 7 - MERCIAN (4) returned in fine fashion with a win around this circuit and should appreciate the extra furlong here. Can go right on with the job now. AGED CARE (9) has hit the top-four in all four outings to date and is yet to put in a poor one. Has upside and rates a genuine chance. RISK ASSESSMENT (14) closed off well when resuming at this track and wouldn't have to improve much to be right in the finish again. Clear danger.
