RACE 1 - The well-related SAFETY ROPE (1) (half to Listed winner and 3xG3 placed So You Win) looked handy winning a recent trial here, draws the inside alley and gets some weight relief with the 3kg claim. Ticks a few boxes on debut. DAISY'S PRIDE (5) was thereabouts in both starts earlier in the year before being tipped out for time to furnish. Can return in winning order. HANEY (2) is at the races for the first time and any market support must be respected. BOBBI DARLIN' (9) makes return in new yard and looks a strong place chance
RACE 2 - Tricky race to assess with many of these babies facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade WANNABE BRUTAL (12) wasn't disgraced in town on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Drops back a furlong in trip which should suit and can play a role in the finish with natural improvement. MIDNIGHT SPIRIT (1) is on debut but looked handy in a recent trial and gets the deadly Gollan/Jones combination. A strong showing would not surprise. WHATTA MISSION (5) just missed the placings when well in the market on debut and where there's smoke there's fire. Top-three conveyance. ORCHID VALLEY (8) won a recent trial and a watch on betting is advised.
RACE 3 - NOBLE DECREE (7) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the two runner-up finishes to start the career were full of merit. Can bounce right back to form. KING'S WARRIOR (3) has just missed the placings in both outings to date and hoop Allen sticks in the saddle. In the mix. TRUSTY BANDIT (8) strips fitter second-up from the spell and a bold showing is expected. ALECIA (9) put in a career-best performance last time out and looks to be improving with racing. One for the exotics.
RACE 4 - GIDDY GAN'S JOY (2) has hit a purple patch of form with two wins and three seconds from six starts this campaign and is racing with a lot of confidence. It's hard to knock mares in form and she should be going very close again. NIPPA'S NIGHTCAP (3) has a handy record at this circuit with two wins and a second from just three outings and looks ready for the step-up in trip here. Looms as the main danger. RADEGAST (6) has won over this staying journey and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Best figures measure up. ARIZONA DREAMING (1) has placed over this track and trip and can trouble the judge with any luck in running. SON OF SATONO (8) should sit on speed and will give backers a sight.
RACE 5 - DIABLO BOLT (1) grows a leg for hoop Guthmann-Chester who has three wins and a placing from just five steers. Is two from two around this circuit and tuned up for this with a recent Doomben trial. Can run a big race while fresh. OUTBURST (6) has a win and a placing from three starts at this track and will be rock-hard fit for this. Finds a suitable race and can take that next step. PRADO (8) got a well-deserved win at the latest effort and will take some confidence from that victory. Top-three credentials. MOENAVE (2) has placed at his past six outings and doesn't know how to run a bad race. A must for the multiples. FEARLESS THINKING (7) rounds out the selections.
RACE 6 - WORTH AVENUE (9) has hit the top-five in her past 11 starts and is usually thereabouts. Strips fitter third-up and can feature in the outcome. CLIPPER SHIP (1) got the chocolates here at the latest effort and is drawn ideally in the inside marble. Top-three aspirations. IBERIAN RULER (7) resumes here but the form he showed before the spell was good enough to play a role in this. Can run a race while fresh. PIREONTI (8) gets in well at the weights with the claim and may earn a cheque.
RACE 7 - TERRITORY ASH (3) has a win and two seconds from five starts around this circuit and Melbourne Cup winning hoop Dolan sticks in the stirrups. Sure to prove tough to hold out. THAT'S INTERESTING (4) hasn't done much wrong with three wins and two placings from just six starts to date and has a handy fresh record. Should be right there at the business end. THUNDERING SOUL (5) will be rock-hard fit for this and is drawn favourably in gate two. In the mix on best form. FIREFORCE (6) best of the rest in a wide open affair to close out the card.
