RACE 1 - ROCK THE MACHINE (6) finds a suitable race today following a disappointing effort as favourite last time out. He was ridden differently last start and came unstuck, but he was building impressively prior to that. The blinkers come off now and while he should still be positive in the run, he can turn in a much better effort this time. COOL MACHINE (7) bounced back last start at this track and trip with a 0.2L defeat. This shapes similarly and the form out of that race has been very good. Should take beating if she can hold her form. THE RIDDLER (4) has had plenty of goes now but wasn't beaten far last time out when finishing just behind Cool Machine. Suspect he'll get back in the run once again, but he has a couple of gear changes this time around which could bring a change of fortune. PATRIOTICINTENTION (3) never got into the race fresh and should appreciate the rise in trip. Can improve. KID BILLY (1) opts to run here rather than later in the day and can improve on the fresh effort.

RACE 2 - LIGHT OF BOOM (2) began awkwardly fresh and never really got into the race in a CL6 over 1000m at Eagle Farm. He'll find this easier today and he is a second-up winner in the past. Wilkes claim comes in handy and he should sit closer from the better draw today. Can land the knockout blow. MOSKEETA (3) didn't give her rivals a sniff over 1000m last start when running away to score by 3L. She's a four-time winner at this trip and she remains down in the weights after the claim of Thompson. Can find the front again and bring up back-to-back wins. STARZAM (6) drops right back in trip today with the blinkers off following a 72-day let up. He was good fresh in a similar race at Murwillumbah when fresh to begin this campaign. Been a while between drinks but he won't be far away. OLIVIA'S SPIRIT (4) will find this easier than his latest run at Wyong and has claims. SWIFT CHARM (7) is better than he showed last start at Randwick and can bounce back.

RACE 3 - MONTE TIANA (8) has made the move north to the Mayfield-Smith stable where she's had a trial in readiness for today. She brings some good country and provincial form up here and she gets the tongue tie on today. Finds a nice race and just has to hold her form to be getting the job done in this. NEXT PAY RUN (11) hit a heavy track first-up at Ballina and didn't handle the going there at all. She'll appreciate getting back onto a firmer surface today and she'll be fitter for the first-up run. Can get back to her best figures today and she'll take beating. NORTHERN BOOGIE (3) disappointed as favourite at Kempsey but he was in solid form prior to that. He gets the winkers on now and he can put his best foot forward from a nice gate. EMOTIONAL APPEAL (6) finds a suitable race and should be around the mark with the blinkers on first time. LIL' BIT VAIG (7) turned in a nice run fresh and the form out of that has been solid. Include.

RACE 4 - UPTURN (7) never really got into the race over 800m at Ipswich but he draws a much better gate this time around. He's shown speed in previous public outings and suspect he'll settle much closer today. Finds his race and looks ready to shed the maiden tag. POWER SPARK (1) hasn't raced in 422 days after pulling up with an issue on debut at Newcastle last year. His recent trial was very impressive however and he is still only a 4YO. Drawn out but he creates plenty of interest. REBELIOUS RED (4) is another who will need some luck from out wide but he's shown plenty of ability and speed at the trials. He gets in light at the weights following the apprentice claim and in what looks an average maiden, he has the upside to feature prominently. STAVRITZEL (2) drops back in trip today off a 98-day freshen and he'll go close from a favourable barrier. QUEEN OF A HAND (11) is better than she showed last start and looks well placed in this event in her first run for the new barn.

RACE 5 - TARA KODA (8) ended last campaign in good order with a come from behind win over 1181m at Grafton to shed the maiden tag. She is fresh into this race and out in trip for the first time, but there's nothing to suggests she won't handle it. She maps for a lovely run and she can bring up back-to-back victories. KNOT ANOTHER KISS (3) is another who got the job done at their last start, winning in a photo finish at this track 25 days ago. She too rises in trip for the first time with Spokes remaining in the saddle. Rates highly off the latest effort and she'll be hard to hold out. I AM CONVINCING (11) is better than he showed last time out when back in trip and fading out of contention late in the race. He has put up better figures over this trip prior and a return to that form will see him right in the finish. A POUND OF SALT (6) resumed in good order at Quirindi and he can build on that effort. KEY LEGEND (2) is next best.

RACE 6 - Good race. KING CORNELIUS (3) was far too good when winning by 2.1L over the mile here recently, leading throughout and absolutely bolting in. Form out of that race is good and he should adopt similar tactics from the wide draw again today. Hard to be against following his most recent effort. SHANNON'S LEGACY (4) was also a big winner first-up, scoring by 4.8L on a wet track at Ballina 20 days ago. The rise in trip doesn't look a problem and she has plenty of upside being so lightly races. Can roll forward also from the wide gate and should make her presence felt. WHATEVER IT TAKES (6) scored a good win over 1400m here last time out, winning by 0.2L and that form has worked out well. Drawn better this time, he looks to get a dream run on the map and it wouldn't surprise to see him repeat the dose. HYPOTHERMIA (7) is better than she showed last time out and can bounce back.

RACE 7 - COOL SHALAA (1) is better than she's shown of late but she did pull up with a little issue when a beaten favourite at Tuncurry most recently. She now maps for a lovely run under Van Tijn whose 3kg claim is a big tick. At her peak now and back onto a firm deck, she can return to winning ways. CARDSHARP (2) will be fitter for a recent trial since his latest run at Doomben 110 days ago. He'll love the firm track and he has performed well on the fresh side previously. Can put his best foot forward. GOT THE SMARTS (9) is hard to knock off her recent efforts and will be finishing off strongly late in the race. Last-start winner TOYGER (5) can give a big sight again.
