Drawn to get all the favours in running from the inside alley and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Where there's smoke there's fire and looks the one they all have to run down. RUN FREDA RUN (5) has hit the top-four in all four outings this preparation and strikes a winnable contest here. Looms as the main danger. TRAVELLING SWEET (6) has placed three of four around this circuit and is usually thereabouts. Top-three conveyance. The well-related ZELEZNY (1) (half to G3 winner and G2 placed Kiss A Rose) has placed two from three first-up and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. In the mix while fresh. OFFANGO (4) best of the rest.
RACE 2 - FINE AND RARE (3) has had a few chances but will find this easier than what he has been facing down south. Capable of shedding the maiden tag here. AIN'T NOBODY (1) will be fitter for that first-up effort and draws to get a cosy run in transit from the inside marble. Looks a strong chance. HADMYTIME (8) was down the track last time but was runner-up at his previous two so is worth another chance. MY PEPPERJACK (10) did a better job when placed at this track last start, beaten less than 2L. Looks capable of featuring in the finish again.
RACE 3 - WELL HELD (4) has hit a purple patch of form this campaign with three wins and two seconds from just five outings and is racing with a lot of confidence. Has placed two from three around this circuit and looks the one they all have to run down. POET'S DAY (1) is another racing in a rich vein of form and gets some weight off with the claim. Can make his presence felt. NOBLE HEART (2) saves his best for this circuit with two wins and two placings from six attempts. Cannot be underestimated. GENERAL WOLFFE (6) strips fitter third-up from the break and may earn some minor money. BOLD HUSSAR (3) is one from one over this course and distance and looks one for the exotics players.
RACE 4 - TRACK TALE (4) resumes here but the form she showed when last in work was more than good enough to be competitive in a race like this. Is yet to miss the top-two in nine starts around this circuit and doesn't know how to put in a poor one. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. MEDIA EMPIRE (2) is a three-time winner over this track and trip and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Rates a serious contender on best form. CAPTAIN FOX (5) will be rock-hard fit for this and draws low with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. OUTBACK ACTION (1) is first-up here but has only missed a drum once in four fresh attempts. In the mix.
RACE 5 - BOLD AND SMOOTH (3) looks to be nearing another victory with consecutive runner-up finishes and is yet to miss the top-two in three starts over this track and trip. Will be ready to peak fourth-up and should be right there at the business end. CUMIN SPINNER (7) got the job done at Townsville last time out and strips fitter third-up from the break. Anticipating another big run. Former NSW galloper IMPACTFULL MISS (5) placed over this course and distance in her first run for the new stable and will have derived a stack of benefit from that hit-out. Top-three credentials. NANO STAR (6) only needs some luck from the sticky alley to be playing a role in the outcome.
RACE 6 - GRAYSONG (1) is yet to miss a drum in three starts around this circuit and has been racing very consistently this time in work. Gets 3kg off with the claim and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. SUNDARA (6) got a well-deserved victory at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Can go right on with the job now. DECIDUOUS (3) has remarkably hit the top-five in 10 of his past 11 starts and is always thereabouts. A must for the exotics players. JUNGLE BEAT (4) will be at peak fitness now and may earn some minor money. ANDIRON (7) next in line from the in-form Smith barn.
