RACE 1 - MOHITE (2) is an I Am Invincible gelding from the stakes-winner Luskintyre Lass on debut for Robert Heathcote. Has been close-up when second in his last two trials, the latest at Doomben. With the blinkers on looks ready to run well. CHARLOTTE'S HERE (5) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 800m at Ipswich. Will benefit from that experience so has winning claims. CLASSY GIRL (10) switched from Victoria where she placed two back then showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start when fourth over 1100m at Ararat. Can measure up. Trial winner EGZAKLY (8) is a market watch on debut.
RACE 2 - SON OF SATONO (3) put the writing on the wall when he pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish a head away in second over 2200m at Sunshine Coast. Has been working towards another win for a while and gets his chance in this line-up. GINASUE (8) hasn't been far away since winning the last time she raced here, last time beaten only 0.6 lengths over 2000m at Gatton. Yet to miss a place at this track and trip. Big chance. LONERGY (4) had been threatening before breaking through for a deserved win last time over 1690m at Ipswich, scoring by a nose. Draws well and rates as one of the main contenders. HIT 'EM UP (2) was solid last start when fourth over 2000m at Gold Coast Poly. Can feature. LUMIERE (5) was only 3L away last start at Ipswich and his lone win came at this distance.
RACE 3 - TURN UP THE MUSIC (1) made a solid return last time when he chased nicely for third at Toowoomba, beaten 1.4L over 1000m. Should be improved by that and draws lower so has winning claims. KOBE ASCOT (3) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 1.2 lengths over 1100m at Gatton. That was an improvement on the fresh effort and with further progression likely he could be tough to rein in. COOL PANELS (4) is back after a break of eight months. Likely to have developed with maturity and was readied with a city trial. SHOW ME THE STARS (7) has raced well here in the past and is worth keeping safe fresh.
RACE 4 - THE SHAMAN (3) is putting together some strong results. Made it two wins from his last three starts when he landed the prize by 2 lengths last time out over 1400m at Gatton. Samantha Pointon scored on him last time and retains the ride. Has won here before. Top chance. KOZANI (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1625m at Toowoomba. Looks well placed this line-up so could go one better. ARIAT (9) had been racing consistently before a well-deserved win by 0.8 lengths as favourite last time out over 1400m at Gatton. Could go on with it. DIMENSION (5) resumes off a string of trials. Keep safe.
RACE 5 - TYPHOON TIP (9) only beat a few home but was far from disgraced when in the market and beaten 4.5L at Ipswich last start. Rates highly in this line up and has strong claims in what looks a winnable assignment. WAYFARER'S WAY (3) did a good job to place two starts ago at Sunshine Coast Poly but ran below market expectations last time when seventh over 2000m at Dalby. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. YEAH COPY (6) has recorded back-to-back minor placings, the latest when beaten 0.8L into second at the most recent appearance over 1400m at Gatton. Nearing peak fitness. LOVEZELADYS (14) finished second at Sunshine Coast Poly two runs back and was solid when midfield last time over 1800m at Sunshine Coast. Can feature. OAKFIELD STORM (5) wasn't far away last time and draws to enjoy a nice run.
RACE 6 - FIRST PEOPLES (1) returned from a spell a month ago when he was in contention on the bend before being beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 1000m at Dalby. Races well second-up so is a likely improver with strong prospects. FREAKSHAKE (2) will be fitter for three runs since a spell and has a win and a placing from two attempts at this track and trip so can show more. BULL DIMPLE RUM (11) was only beaten 1.8L last start over 1100m at Sunshine Coast Poly and draws to advantage. Last-start placegetter GRANDEUR ROSE (12) is in the mix again.
RACE 7 - ROCKRATA (7) took up the running last time and turned in front before boxing on for fifth, beaten 3 lengths over this journey at Ipswich. Gets blinkers back on and is expected to be in this for a long way. EYE WANTED (8) is racing well and is close to a win after a strong of placings, the latest effort a solid third at Sunshine Coast Poly over 1100m. Placed in all three attempts at this track and trip. Major player. BELLE'S BOY (3) is fresh from a spell of ten weeks and did hit the frame when last resuming at this track over 1200m. In a different yard now. Can make his presence felt. PARUES (1) resumes. Has trialled well so looking for a good return.
RACE 8 - SURREAL ASCOT (8) was only beaten 1.5L at Ipswich last start after recording a win and two placings from her first three starts of the campaign. Races well at this distance and looks nicely placed. MINTO'S POWER (10) progressed off a fresh placing when he led throughout last start to score an effortless 5 length win over 1200m at Gold Coast Poly. Blinkers are removed. Contender. SOCK'EMSID (4) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings and races well here so keep safe fresh. RUM DIARY (13) has placed in both previous second-up attempts so is open to improvement.
