RACE 1 - MAGIC PHAROAH (2) got too far back from a wide gate at Randwick last time out and gets a nice upgrade in her draw this time. She was a beaten favourite at Dubbo by a nose before that and is set to bounce back in this. On top. CRUSHEEN LASS (7) was an overdue maiden winner in her penultimate start on this track and then finished midfield as favourite at Queanbeyan just over 2 weeks ago. She has drawn the pole position here and if she strikes an easing surface, she will be hard to hold out. UP AND COMER (3) resumed over a mile and needed the hit-out at Goulburn nearly 2 weeks ago. The blinkers are back on and she will be a quick improver. STYLEBENDER (4) has been holding his form all season and top hoop Aaron Bullock keeps the faith. Each way all day.

RACE 2 - PERFECTLY FROSTED (1) won the last of his 2 trials before flashing home late to finish runner-up at Newcastle on debut nearly 3 weeks ago. He drops down to country class level second up and will also naturally improve. He is set to go one better. PELETTE (5) is heading the right way and is also dropping down from provincial level third up. She has a good draw and her first win is not far away. WITHSTAND (4) has been running on in both of his starts to date. He was just under 2 lengths from the winner on the Beaumont course at Newcastle a fortnight ago. He will be peaking third up and will be among the hardest to beat. GUSTAV (2) had the blinkers on for the first time at Scone and they didn't suit him as he raced too keenly early on. That run was just over 7 weeks ago and he has been back to the trials since then. The blinkers are off so give him another chance. Include in all combinations.

RACE 3 - THE FAVORITE SON (2) made progress last season and will be a lot stronger this time in work. He resumes from a spell with the blinkers off and will be ready for 1500m after having a couple of trials. He is drawn to get the run of the race and it is encouraging to see Aaron Bullock in the saddle for the first time. On top. THE MYSTERY GUY (9) does not help himself by making a slow start and ended up getting too far back at Scone last time out. He is better than that and is expected to bounce straight back into the money. BELLASCENT (7) has improved since joining the Joe Burges stable at Tuncurry and the smaller stable seems to suit him. She won by a short-head at Kempsey 17 days ago to clear her maiden status and will be hard to hold out again. CHESTIME (8) has needed both of her starts back from a spell and steps up from 1100m to 1500m. She is ready to put her best hoof forward in this.

RACE 4 - COOL SPACE (3) showed a lot of natural pace to lead on debut at Newcastle before weakening late on the heavy track. He was put aside to mature and was close up in a recent trial. He resumes from a wide gate but will be given every chance with Aaron Bullock picking up the ride. Hard to beat on a firmer surface. NOR NOR WEST (2) had a tough run on debut and still fought hard to finish runner-up, half-a-length from the winner. He has been given plenty of time to get over that run and was not far away in a recent trial at Gunnedah. The blinkers are on for the first time and he only needs a touch of luck from a wide gate to be hard to beat again. MISS JUDAS (1) has been thereabouts at provincial level and should notice the drop down to country-class for the first time. The winkers are on and she is overdue to break through for her first win. EXTREME COURAGE (7)

RACE 5 - ALLITERATION (9) showed plenty of pace to find the front early on when making her debut at Newcastle on the Beaumont course a fortnight ago before weakening late. She will appreciate stepping up an extra 300m and from a superior gate with 2kg less to carry, she is the one to beat. BELLA CORAZON (11) ran on late to finish fifth at Nowra 18 days ago and will be peaking third up from a spell. The step up from 1200m to 1500m will suit her and she will be right in the finish this time. NAVY BUOY (4) caught the eye with a fast-finishing third on debut at Canberra nearly 3 weeks ago and with the natural improvement that is expected second-up, he will be hard to hold out. CUP OF AMBITION (6) just whacked away after racing close to the pace in a stronger field last time out and she is much better placed at this level. She has been trying to win a race for some time and is a place chance in this.

RACE 6 - TORN (4) had the blinkers on for the first time at Mudgee last time out and they worked a treat as he bolted home by 3 lengths nearly 4 weeks ago. He has plenty of scope and will still be on the up with his condition. A good draw will ensure a cosy run and he can take the next step immediately. GIRRAWHEEN (6) stuck to her task gamely when finishing third off a wide trip at Scone just over 2 weeks ago and gets a big swing in her draw this time. She will be peaking third up and is ready to win again at short notice. TIGERS ROAR (1) mixed his form over the winter and is resuming from a spell with a recent quiet trial under his belt. Aaron Bullock is back in the saddle and the pair merit healthy respect. PUERTO BANUS (3) capped off some solid form this season with a tough win by a short-head at Newcastle nearly 3 weeks ago. He steps up from 900m to 1280m so is expected to race right on the pace early on and he can give another good account o himself. Each way.

RACE 7 - DAYU (7) is an ex-Queensland gelding resuming from a spell for a new stable. He cops a wide gate and will be a lot stronger this season. He joins a quieter yard and a change of scenery can bring about an improvement in his recent form. Let the markets be your guide. DE LUCA (5) has been freshened up since finishing third in a 4-horse field at Scone just over 6 weeks ago. She has the advantage of the pole position and with the benefit of a 4kg claim, she can figure in the finish again. INVASIVE DREAMS (1) is resuming from a spell at an easier level and has been in the money in both of her visits to this track. She cops a good gate and is worth including in all combinations. SPECK (11) is unbeaten in 2 starts over 1000m and only weakened late over 1100m at Scone 15 days ago. Stick with her on an each-way basis.
