RACE 1 - Tricky race with all but one of them lining up for the first time. CRYOSEISMS (2) is a Godolphin first starter by Frosted from the Blue Diamond winner Earthquake who has produced four winners from six foals to race. Recent Benalla trial placegetter who should be up for this. Too Darn Hot colt RIVELLINO (5) from the Kris Lees yard lines up for the first time. Won a Rosehill trial impressively on 23 December. Looks to have his share of talent. DEVIL NIGHT (3) is a half-brother to dual Group 3 winner Our Playboy on debut for Team Hawkes. Won a trial at Rosehill on 10 December so he looks set for a bright launch to his career. Recent Warwick Farm trial winner POINT SCORE (4) is another worth monitoring for market support. Next best is THE MAGIC MAN (7) whose race experience will take him a long way.

RACE 2 - SUPER BRIGHT (2) returned from a 32-week spell with an eye-catching third last start over 1200m at Canterbury. Back in trip but the longer run home will suit. Not badly in with the claim and she won't spend a cent from the good gate. Looks a nice chance at each-way odds. DEHORNED UNICORN (5) backs up seven days after tiring to finish near the tail over 1200m at this track. Down in class and draws a better marble today so he is worth another chance. ZOUKERINO (10) raced handy and battled on well but found one better when resuming in a BM64 over this distance at Wyong recently. Hasn't won in ages but he gets in well with the claim and should enjoy a favourable run just behind a hot speed. EVERYONE'S A STAR (6) raced wide and was never a hope at Canterbury last start. Boasts a good record at this trip so worth including at big odds. BUNDEENA (1) resumes. Goes well fresh and just needs luck from a sticky draw to be competitive.

RACE 3 - Tough Highway with a stack of last start winners lining up. ASSOCIATE (1) comes to town on the back of some solid country form in good open class races. Came from last on the bend to grab second at his latest appearance over 1675m at Wagga Riverside. Ready to peak at the fourth run back from a spell. Honest mare MORITZ GIRL (6) found the front topping the rise but was claimed late and finished a close third in a similar race to this a fortnight ago. Very effective over this trip and with luck from a wide alley should be right in the thick of things again. THREE GRACES (8) chalked up the hat trick when she just prevailed over 1900m at Ballina recently. Facing her stiffest test but with nothing on her back over the pet trip a small wager at massive odds is worthwhile. GREAT POINT (10) showed a nice turn of foot to win with authority last time out over 1400m at Scone. New to the mile but should run it out. FIFTY FIVE MUSTANG (2) is flying and must be considered on an eight-day back-up.

RACE 4 - ACCREDITED (6) did some work to go forward from a wide draw then lifted under pressure in the closing stages to just get home in a BM78 over 1300m here last start. Emerging type who gets a softer run this time from the inside draw and can win again despite the step up in class. CINQUE TORRI (4) resumed in the same race as Accredited here a fortnight ago and was never in the hunt after being shuffled back. Might need one more but from a better gate over the slightly longer distance he cannot be ruled out. EXCELLADUS (3) was handed a difficult assignment first-up in the Listed Razor Sharp but did a fine job to be beaten just 1.3 lengths after a chequered passage. Sure to be hard to toss in this much easier contest. FOX FIGHTER (7) hasn't landed a blow in two runs this prep in tougher races. Fitter now and from a perfect draw he can improve sharply. ANG POW (2) scored a game win here at this trip in a BM100 recently. Must be included again coming back in class.

RACE 5 - CAPTAIN AMELIA (2) stepped up to Saturday company and wasn't given much hope last start but defied the market to sweep home and score narrowly over this course and distance. Getting up in the weights but she is capable of chalking up the hat trick in a similar contest. ALLAPERCANTO (4) looked a chance for most of the straight but eventually just missed in a tight finish over the mile here last time. Back in trip with blinkers on for the first time is an appealing scenario. Sure to be in the finish. PERFUMIST (13) made significant progress last start to win at Canterbury over 1550m. Will find this tougher but with the light weight from a perfect gate she cannot be ruled out. CODETTA (11) was easily accounted for last time over 1300m here, her first defeat of the campaign and just the second in five career runs. Sure to give a good account. LULUMON (6) wasn't far away in a similar race here a fortnight ago. Each-way claims.

RACE 6 - FIDDLERS GREEN (4) settled midfield then showed a nice change of gears to be beaten under a length over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Very fit after three runs back from a spell and in a similar race today he looks the testing material. SLY BOOTS (5) was second-up from a lengthy break when an impressive winner over 1400m at Warwick Farm recently. Looks ready for the longer trip and although up in grade he should be very competitive. BRIGHT RED (6) made it three minor placings from as many runs this prep when beaten under a length recently over this course and distance. Very fit mare with a fine record at the mile so she is right in contention. CAPTAIN MAVERICK (3) found the line well at Canterbury last time and finds a suitable race today. The lightly raced INSIDE MAN (16) wasn't far off them last time and on the limit weight is a definite contender.

RACE 7 - DISNECK (7) made it two wins in a row when he came from last on the corner to easily account for a BM78 field over this course and distance last Saturday. Goes to a new level today but gets a couple of kilos off and his figures suggest he is up to the task. IN FLIGHT (6) has returned in good shape, finishing close up in her two runs this prep against better opposition. Found the line well when third over 1100m here last start. Looks ready for a first tilt at today's journey. AMAZING EAGLE (9) has been freshened up since an eye-catching second on a heavy surface over this trip at Doomben five weeks ago. Won the Listed Brian Crowley here at this distance the run prior to underline his quality. Serious contender. THE BOPPER (1) was plain when resuming over 1100m here but can improve second-up with an extra 100m. Victorian visitor PIONEER RIVER (8) is up sharply in class but drops a massive 9kgs on his recent win at Cranbourne.

RACE 8 - Brisbane visitor JEALOUS (14) ran on stoutly but found the promising Zaphod a shade the better over 1820m at Eagle Farm a fortnight back. Tackles a stronger field today but gets some nice weight relief. Big chance if Jay Ford can slot in from a wide gate. MONARCHS BRAE (18) returned from a 16-week spell with a determined win over 1550m at Canterbury last start. Ran Matusalem to a long neck over this distance at Rosehill last prep which is a strong form line. Should go well again. Australian Derby placegetter GLAD YOU THINK SO (3) wasn't far away last Saturday over the mile here. Gets a few gear changes and this trip is far more suitable so expect him to be very competitive. O'ZIGGY (20) led for home but was swamped late and finished fourth over 1600m here last start. Fitter for three runs back from a spell and won't mind the step up in trip. LENAPE VIBE (12) tackles a better field today but is lightly raced and progressing well.

RACE 9 - BOSTON ROCKS (4) started favourite when resuming over 1000m at Caulfield Heath last start but found one better after being shuffled back before the corner then working home well. Meets a deeper field today but should be hard to beat with that run under his belt. UNSTOPABULL (6) settled last in a field of six then quickened impressively to win a BM72 here last Saturday. Capable of repeating the dose with a kilo less in a race that will be run to suit. MAXIMUM VORTEX (3) is flying up in the northern rivers, winning back-to-back BM82 sprints at Grafton and Lismore. Difficult assignment today but he gets some weight relief and deserves his chance. IRON WILL (8) is racing well this prep, highlighted by a closing second over 1000m at Warwick Farm most recently. Up in class but not without claims. The lightly raced APEX (12) tackles Saturday company for the first time but trust the judgement of Team Hawkes to come here.

RACE 10 - RAVELLO (9) opened this campaign impressively but has met with some bad luck at his last two outings, most recently when midfield over 1400m at this track. That run followed a 39-day break so he strips fitter and with even luck can take this out. WEST OF AFRICA (2) came from last in a big field to get up for third in an eye-catching return to racing over 1300m at this track a fortnight ago. Doesn't always fire second-up which is the query, but over an extra furlong today he is hard to ignore. CAPTAIN FENKEL (4) has tackled three Listed races from as many runs this prep, last time out finishing 2.1 lengths back in the Members Mile at Eagle Farm. Big threat back in a Benchmark race. PIGGYBACK (13) disappointed as favourite first-up over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Ran third to the smart Scarlet Oak second-up last prep. Likely improver. MONARCHS BRAE (6) impressed first-up at Canterbury and can hold that form.
