Caulfield Heath Race 4 – Royal Insignia

Really liked the win of this Grahame Begg trained colt, a full brother to his Blue Diamond winner Written By. He ran very sharp splits to win his maiden at Kyneton and has again run on very strongly against the pattern to score here. He put some good gaps back through the field and looks a progressive horse capable of going through the grades.

Canterbury Race 2 – Editing

Excellent debut without winning for this $650,000 Written Tycoon filly, charging home from back in the field to just miss the leader which is always tough to do at Canterbury. She's a nicely bred type out of Snitzel mare Talented and off this effort, that's exactly what she appears to be. It won't take long for Editing to break her maiden and go onto better races.
