Bronte Nieuwenburg has outlined her selections and suggested game plan for tonight's nine-race card at Bendigo.

See her best below, courtesy of Harness Racing Victoria.

R1 – 6.14pm – Impact-A Fasteners & Construction Supplies Pace – 1650m

9 - Classically Smooth
10 - Favouritehighlight
6 - Onecrowdedhour
3 - Atomic Glory

Classically Smooth has been good when finishing second in his last two runs. His two runs prior to that he ran into trouble. His confidence is improving, and his own personal times have been good. Barrier nine gives him space to settle early and have options throughout the race.

BACK: 9 Classically Smooth – 2 units (win)

R2 – 6.40pm – Bendigo Ski Boat Centre Mares Trot – 1650m

6 - Atego Dawn
2 - Velvetnlace
7 - Silver Spoon
8 - Casa Alberta

R3 – 7.13pm – Aldebaran Park Fillies & Mares Maiden Trot – 2150m

4 - Castles In The Sky
7 - Winnies Dream
10 - Madge Egan
3 - Southwind Chloe

It’s hard to be fully confident in maiden trots but I think the race map works well for Castles In The Sky here. She has the gate speed to lead and once in front, she may be strong enough to go all the way.

BACK: 4 Castles In The Sky – 2 units (win)

R4 – 7.44pm – Simonds Homes Bendigo 2yo Maiden Pace – 1650m

3 - Sabita
6 - Keisha
10 - Fourth Response
1 - Colorado Girl

R5 – 8.14pm – Oxley Feed Mill Veteran Drivers Trot – 2150m

10 - No Telling Heather
5 - Night Whisperer
6 - Jansu
4 - Cabin Crew

No Telling Heather’s own times last start when second at Melton were significantly faster than the recent best runs from the rest of this field. I feel like this could be the day Jansu’s incredible winning streak comes to an end.

BACK: 10 No Telling Heather – 2 units (win)

R6 – 8.41pm – Forty Winks Pace – 1650m

9 - Captain Pins
4 - Swift Watch
3 - Shadow Celt
7 - Just As Well

Captain Pins has a lot of ability, but his manners usually are what gets him beat. He can hang badly, and it’s probably cost him a few wins. I think barrier nine will suit him well as he can settle and hopefully not get too far back so he can be right in the finish.

BACK: 9 Captain Pins – 2 units (win)

R7 – 9.14pm – Bendigo Locksmiths Mares Pace – 1650m

5 - Angel Of Anger
8 - Maywyns Jewel
9 - Markleigh Caz
2 - Tooby Gold

Angel Of Anger has fantastic gate speed, and he could use it to his advantage to get into a good position here. I’m tipping him to win on the hopes he finds the fence early, but with his odds, he also makes a good place and each-way bet.

BACK: 5 Angel Of Anger – 2 units (win)

R8 – 9.44pm – Gold Central Victoria Mares Pace – 1650m

6 - Guaranteed Secret
4 - Half Price Bride
2 - I See Iris
3 - I Of The Hurrikane
