Monday best bets from Brown & Hyland (03/11)
By SENTrack
Campbell Brown & Sam Hyland have your Monday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a look at Rockhampton, Ballarat, Corowa & Ballina to bring the Track family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Campbell Brown
Rockhampton: Race 1, No.4 - DARLING CLEMENTINE
Mare in form this prep. Could have easily been 3 wins in a row, lost a close one. Will camp just off the speed and show that turn of foot late to win.
Ballarat: Race 5, No.10 - MINI ANGEL
Good win two starts ago on heavy ground, then vetted after an average effort last start. Heavy conditions today and absolutely loves the wet. Jumps leads and controls things.
Corowa: Race 2, No.3 - CAYMAN ISLAND
Placed 2 of last 4. Those poor runs had excuses from bad barriers. No speed in this pierre should be able to lead comfortably. Be hard to run down.
Ballina: Race 3, No.5 - BACK ON DE QUO
Barrier 1, senior jockey, won first up past prep, trialled up well, likes soft track. Ticks a lot of boxes.
Sam Hyland
Rockhampton: Race 3, No.2 - BITTER SPIRIT
Will be improved with the time under his belt he showed ability last preparation & looked good in his trial.
Ballarat: Race 3, No.12 - DON'T DOUBT DOTTIE
Has looked good in both trials & should find herself on speed here. Drawn soft & trained on the track, Dottie can give this a shake.
Corowa: Race 4, No.7 - LORD LIMERICK
Lord was very good first time out coming from off speed & will be suited to the extra distance here, drawn perfectly to get a sweet run, should be winning.
Ballina: Race 6, No.4 - PLEADEEL
This mare should stay the trip, she is a seasoned stayer that has been going around in better races than this, if she settles well she will give a great sight.
