CAULFIELD - Race 5 No.1 - DIFFERENT GRAVY - Home hard Adelaide in Hill Smith Stks (gaps behind) then love the way he rounded them up Flemington latest. These his only two goes beyond 1600m.

BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)

ROSEHILL - Race 9 No.8 - IMPERIALIST - Won Taree Cup well in record Tim then backed heavy Rosehill Cup but did a power of work and did an amazing job to some how hold second. Gets softer trail here (won’t be difficult!!).

BEST VALUE BET OF THE DAY

CAULFIELD - Race 10 No.2 - ROYAL INSIGNIA - Ran home well in Moonga Stks here from horror spot then again ran home sweetly back at 1200m Flem. Proven to Soft-6. $15 is big if track not too wet !!

Zipping Classic analysis

CAULFIELD: Race 8 - G2 Zipping Classic - WFA - 2400m

13 - ALALCANCE - Plenty against her fresh but nice work through line. Couldn’t lead Flemington but gave all in race where nothing changed. To right distance range now, 2400m, 3rd-up can see her leading and proving very hard to run over!

1 - LIGHT INFANTRY MAN - Just ran quite well in G1 Champions Stks and Cox Plate. Back a notch here. First go 2400m the unknown. Hard to beat.

14 - SHE’S A HUSTLER - Measured up well in Matriarch Stks 2nd 2nd beating Alalcance clearly into 3rd. In quinella 10 of 10 this girl. First go trip herself.

2 - KOVALICA - Just held his ground back in the field in Champions Stks. He is well and truly proven 2400m though and last win was 2200m at WFA beating Fawkner Park and Co. Goes in.

8 - ETNA ROSSO - Going well but needs a win. Missed bob in St Leger then just no match for Whiskey On The Hill latest with gaps behind… WFA the test.
