SEYMOUR
Race 4 | 3. Nan's Rebel
This big big boy wasn't to bad on debut, he got left a little flat footed but he is a galloping gasometer and honestly probably should have finished second in a race one easily by the favourite who led. The key today is he jumps better than he did on debut, funnily enough from the same gate. He's a big boy as I mentioned and he needs galloping room but I think the experience of race day a little more maturity and ridden a little closer (fingers crossed) he jumps well will have him going very close to winning.
Race 6 | 6. Divine Thoughts
Steps up to this distance for the first time but it does feel like the natural step for her after he runs at 1600m. Drawn a little sticky but not the speediest lot inside her so with a little luck she should be able to slide across. Her run last start in a decent form race was good and she ran through the line even after leading them up. She is a tough mare and will love the fight here. If her fitness gives out late at this trip, she'll win her next go but I think today works, especially on the good track!
Race 7 | 3. Kyle (each-way)
Favourite is going to be really hard to beat but I like this bloke at a price coming out of a decent race when he resumed. Drawn much better today to be more prominent than he was last star, the good track is perfect and with the speed he can stalk. I think he's over the odds and will run a huge race.
NEWCASTLE
Race 2 | 4. Impuriteze
Up in distance second outlook say real winning formula for this block here. Was an too bad resuming hit a little flat spot but in the end was outsprinted. Perfectly drawn to be able to make a decision out of the gates, couple of debutantes so unsure around some of the speed map but he does have the ability to lead if he wants but I'd say he'll try and take a sit and stalk. Soft track won't pull him up and he'll be very hard to beat.
Race 3 | 2. Embrace The Wind
What is pretty good on debut in town in a much much tougher race. Crappy gate that day so had to go back and hit the line well but today with the blinkers on a better gate I expect him to be a lot more prominent in the run.Aeternum is thr danger and will lead from that gate. ETW will need to be close enough and as long as he is, I think natural race improvement will be enough to get him home.
Race 4 | 3. Iron Fury
This bloke just keeps knocking on the door and even though it's been a while since that solo win this is a very winnable race. Will have a nice run in transit from that gate. Great jockey / trainer combo and back up a little to the 1150m is a W. Soft track a little query but his last two placings have been behind decent horses in races tougher than this and if he brings that form he'll win.
Race 6 | 5. Powerhouse
He's trialled up well a couple of times in preparation to resume and had a couple of good races before being tipped out. Ran pretty well in the Ming Dynasty on a soft track which works for today. Drawn well to allow him to find his groove and allow the speed battle to take place in font of him. This kick off distance is better than the 1100m over debut and I expect him to be very hard to beat today.
WAGGA
Race 1 | 3. Sargeant Stan
Has trialled up once and although impressive always concerned with fitness when resuming over 1200m but this is an absolute speed map bet. He is an absolute chance to get away with racing murder as there's no other major speed in the race and from that gate he'll cruise over fairly comfortably to the fence. Was really impressive breaking the maiden when belting them at Albury (in a good form race) before being tipped out and with Jason Lyon retaining the ride and the soft conditions suiting he will be very hard to beat.
Race 4 | 7. Extrio
Was pretty good hitting the line last start at this exact place and distance and I think this race is a smidge weaker than that also. Second crack at the 1200m also works in her favour and without a major speed horse in the race, I'd expect Pierre to try and be a little closer in the run. Good track not an issue and I expect her to be very hard to beat!

SEYMOUR
Race 3 | 14. Sweet Farnan
(No comments)
Race 7 | 9. Rhia
Rolls forward up in trip, in a race devoid of speed. Currie & Freedman’s at 21% profit is a push in itself. Can easily go on with it here to make it three wins in a row.
NEWCASTLE
Race 4 | 4. Steel Knight
Two good hit outs in prep for his first up run. Forgive last start, three runs prior very good and enough to win this.
WAGGA
Race 1 | 3. Sargeant Stan
Raced three wide on debut and now gets the golden switch to an inside draw with Craig Williams aboard. Expecting significant improvement at his second career start, which should be enough to breakthrough today.
Race 2 | 1. Mctominay
Pass mark last time on a day inside was off and leaders weren’t suited. That’s a strong form reference for this race. Leads easily and should get a favourable pattern today.
