The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission has confirmed that the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) favourite Warwoven has been scratched from the $3 million sprint.

After a veterinary examination this morning the Bjorn Baker-trained colt was still found to be lame, and was subsequently scratched on veterinary advice, along with stablemate Masvingo.

Bjorn Baker himself believed Warwoven was fit to race, but respects the decision made from the Queensland Racing Veterinarians team.

Zip Lock is now the $2.90 favourite with Sportsbet to take out the race.

Magic Millions 2YO Classic favourite Warwoven and his stablemate Masvingo are in doubt for the $3 million two-year-old sprint after reportedly showing signs of lameness at trot ups this morning.

According to SENTrack & RSN's Gareth Hall, stewards are not happy with their current form but will delay any decision until Saturday morning when they both undergo further examination.

Any decision in both the Bjorn Baker-trained two-year-old's participation in the $3 million race will be made on Saturday morning.

All other runners have been cleared to start for the 1200m sprint by the vets.
