Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Caulfield & Randwick in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Cam Luke

CAULFIELD

Race 6 | 1. Dublin Journal (each-way)

First time to the 2000m this prep and there is no doubt he needs it maybe more than before. His fourth up form is really good and although the weight is heavy, Currie on is a tick. Was fairly decent in the Coastal Classic hitting the line in a race which was hard to get into once he missed the kick. (Mind you the form is suspect out of the race but again for this bloke needing 2000m, not a major concern) Good track is a massive tick and he will sit midfield and be able to enjoy a decent tempo (Opening Address and Active Duty) and savage the line. He is well over the odds at $15 and a great each way play!

Race 7 | 4. Oak Hill

Flies fresh and the 1000m is going to be perfect with the speed Beast Mode and Geegees Mistruth will put into the race as per! Because of that the gate is no issue and he'll drift back! Good track is perfect and once he hooks to the outside, watch out! His Moonee Valley first up run wins this and had no luck in the Moir in a field way better than this!

Race 8 | 9. Custom (win) & 10. Conscience (each-way) - Both Top 4

I like this girl who won very easily first up last prep! After that ran decently in really nice races and she has jumped out well in prep for this. She does tend to get back a little but hopefully Jamie Malham can muster a little gate speed and use the nice gate. Good tracks seem to help her and in a very open race she has the class to go very close! There is a fair bit of speed so be wary of Conscience. She was really good resuming and the step up to 1200m for a first crack is a plus. Think she will run a nice race and have a little each way on her at $12. Use the Sportsbet More Places to back them to both run Top 4!

Race 9 | 3. Regal Zeus

I was really keen on Café Millenium but with the scratchings this is a speed map bet now with RZ. Will be able tom kick up from inside draw and control this at whatever pace Mott wants. Has had the little freshen since the Mile win and his last 1400m shocker race before he had to work hard from wide gate and got pressured. He won't get that today. Good track is the right condition and he will be hard to get back. Café Millenium is the best horse in the race and that form around Transatlantic is primed for this. I really liked him with tempo and he has trialled ready to go but I think he'll find hard to get RZ. I have included him in an exacta, quinella and the Quaddie as the saver but I think the race structure will stop him catching the leader.

RANDWICK

Race 2 | 6. Zenmaster

Found the rise in trip last start just a smidge too far so back to the mile where he always wanted as well is a big advantage. There is no doubt this is an open midway but his form over the 1600m makes me feel that he is the class runner of the race. Perfectly drawn to stalk what will be a pretty solid tempo so from that gate Tim Clark can be one out one back and I think back from the 1900m with the fitness will be hard to beat.

Race 4 | 6. Sister Daae (each-way)

She was pretty good resuming and no doubt the step up to the 1400m today is an advantage. J Mac will need to be at his best no dramas because from that gate she will get back so luck will be needed at some point. Her second up form doesn't read great but one of those was behind Aeliana so I'm not overly concerned. Waller/Jmac combo at this price in an open race is tempting and I think a little play at $9 is a good play!

Race 5 | 6. Sounds Unusual

I backed him at Wyong when stepping up to 2100m from 1600m and he ran well albeit had much tougher run than the winner who is is really good from. Tighter Wyong track worked against him as well as he was a tad unbalanced at times. Fourth up today is a nice set up and again well weighted. Should get a perfect run in transit and today is the day we get our money back from Wyong!

Race 7 | 2. Hellsing (each-way)

Ignore the 1600m donuts they have been tougher than this (Pride of Jenni form). He was really good last start hitting the line and I expect the same today. Runs well third up and good track no issues. He wont want to be as far back as last start as the speed on paper isn't furious so will need to tuck in somewhere and get rhythm. Claim helps a little and I think $16 is way over the Odds!

David Taggart

CAULFIELD

Race 5 | 2. Along The River (value)

Has the Gallant Son form from last start which is good. Has just missed in both runs this prep and he can go one better here. Will sit just off the pace and he looks a great each-way play.

Race 7 | 4. Oak Hill

They will go like last weeks pay here and hopefully set it up for Oak Hill who resumes and will get back. Flies fresh winning three of four and he made a handy field look second rate when he won first up last prep at Moonee Valley.

RANDWICK

Race 4 | 1. Pretty Powerful

Drops back to his pet trip and in grade from last start where he was good second up. Draws pole, gets a huge claim for Sienna and has third up form. Is going to be hard to beat.

Race 6 | 2. Uzziah (value)

This may sound funny but Uzziah may get away with this. Has trialled up well enough for this and he goes well fresh. Best on good ground and from pole should land on the bunny and try to lead all the way for Nock.
