RACE 1 - 12:27PM M&J Chickens Handicap (1600 METRES)
PRESSER comes off a solid effort, beaten 2.3 lengths in 4th behind Sneaky Sunrise at Caulfield in a BM84 last time. He draws a gate and looks hard to beat here. RHINOCEROS is a 10-time winner who was placed in the Camperdown Cup last time out and back on January 17 and has jumped-out well since. He gets the inside gate and looks the danger. Fellow Victorian ANGRY SKIES has a win and a placing from three starts here and was well beaten first-up at Caulfield and can improve here. BAMYAN BUDDHA has been racing well, winning at Murray Bridge two runs back, and then he took late ground off World’s My Oyster here last time. He gets a good claim and should be in the mix. FAST BUBBLES was a Murray Bridge winner two runs back and was beaten 8.57 lengths at Listed level in the Durbridge last time. CHAKADO was solid up on speed, beaten 2.27 lengths in 4th.

RACE 2 - 1:02PM Sportsbet Adelaide Cup Day Monday 9 March Handicap (1800 METRES)
TYUSIX is racing well and was very good up in class when beaten 2.11 lengths behind Kirkliston Blu in the Strathalbyn Cup last time. She’ll need some luck from the gate but should take some beting here. FLAMING EYES is racing in great form and put together consecutive wins before she finished hard late to be beaten 0.37 lengths behind Dirty Old Town here last time. She gets in well after the claim and looks a danger. SOMEWHERE SOON is another who is on the up and was a $2.30 chance coming from the back to beat Morlaix at Strathalbyn last time. She gets an inside gate. KATIM’S CLUB ran well on the Parks track last week, beaten 1.19 lengths behind Andrew’s Memory, and can run well. ENCIPHERING was a good winner at Gawler last time while TOP OF THE RIDGE can run well.

RACE 3 - 1:32PM ULE Hoof Oil Handicap (1050 METRES)
INTELLECTUAL looked a talented horse in his first preparation and was solid first-up when beaten 0.33 lengths behind an in-form Violet Lovebug. He’s fitter, draws out, but should give this a shake. SIR MYKA was very good in the same race resuming and should again run well. SASSY FOR SURE was $3.30-$2.45 when beaten 1.52 lengths in that race and was an impressive trial winner prior, and should go well. MATHEMATICIAN is on debut for Will Clarken and won a recent trial here. He draws a nice gate and keep an eye on the market. He also has BRAND HER BOLD on debut and she has been placed in three jump-outs and a recent Murray Bridge trial. WICKED STORM comes off a BM56 win at Werribee as a $3.60 favourite and maps to get a good run from the middle. DISCREET POINT was well back when a 0.75 length winner in a Werribee maiden last time out. ZOUTRAIL resumes and has trialled up well.

RACE 4 - 2:12PM Michael and Virginia Wedding Anniversary Handicap (1522 METRES)
RONNY BEE had very good NSW 3yo form and has been very good in two SA runs over the 1200m, beaten 0.9 lengths behind Thunder Shoc last time here. He jumps in trip and this does look his chance to break through. BROWN NOSE DAY GAL won consecutive races before another good effort last week when beaten 3.43 lengths behind Andrew’s Memory. ZARKANA was a Gawler winner in November and again did her best work late, beaten 3.36 lengths behind Cielao here last time out. WICHITALL has won two of his past three, the latest a 0.3 length Naracoorte win, beating Belongtojill. DIVINE FIRE has trialled OK for her return and draws a good gate.

RACE 5 - 2:47PM Sportsbet Cinderella Stakes (1050 METRES)
LA GITANA (B, W & JD Hayes) was beaten 3.5 lengths in 3rd in the G3 Chairman’s Stakes at Caulfield on debut behind Big Sky. That’s very good form for this and she should take some beating. REBEL TUESDAY draws a good gate and was a 0.81 length winner over Tommy’s Lass here last time. TULLY HEART was 3rd in that race beaten 6.52 lengths, the Tzaferis stable also have SHE’S ICONIC on debut and has looked good in a couple of jump-outs and Murray Bridge trial. NEVER ORDINARY (B Cozamanis) has won two jumps out and was even more impressive in a recent Morphettville trial by 6.77 lengths. SJY MISS (Moody/Coleman) has had four jump-outs over the border winning the most recent at Pakenham. ARYNA (J Warren) has been placed at three recent jump-outs leading in and gets blinkers from a good gate. FLYING FURY (Tom Dabernig) won a Camperdown jump-out on January 19 and placed in her most recent at Warrnambool. INTIMUS is on debut for Mick Huxtable and won a recent Murray Bridge jump-out, while the PRETTY BABY (Richards/Moyle) was placed in a Morphettville trial.

RACE 6 - 3:22PM Daniel 'Mini' Balfour Memorial Handicap (1050 METRES)
ROUND TWO was solid at his first run two months when beaten 0.97 lengths in 4th behind Daisydoo here a fortnight back. He draws a good gate and should give this a shake. HOOKED ON WEALTH has been in the money at seven of 11 starts here and was strong from the back when beaten 0.3 lengths in 3rd in the Daisydoo race. He draws out and should be fighting this out. BRISTLER also comes through that race and was beaten 0.25 lengths, he’ll be handy from a good barrier. BLANC VISAGE was a good Gawler winner first-up and then just missed when she flashed home beaten 0.01 lengths behind Mic Drop last time. INVERTATIONAL ran well first-up from a break in that race beaten 2.48 lengths and draws to get a nice run. Stablemate PATH TO PROFIT was a $4.80 favourite when beaten 5.72 lengths behind over Yonder on the Parks track last week at her SA debut. RUNAWAY BELLE finished strongly from the back when beaten 0.73 lengths in 4th behind Bangholme at Murray Bridge last time and she can run well. SECRET HELL won a Swan Hill maiden before a break and has jumped out well but he draws out. JAHANGIR is a watch first-up for the Jolly/Potter combination and won a recent Murray Bridge trial.

RACE 7 - 3:57PM Sportsbet Lord Reims Stakes (2600 METRES)
BOLD SOUL is a Group 3 winner here as a 3yo and was doing his best work late when beaten 3.07 lengths behind Blonde Star in the G3 Hobart Cup last time out. He’ll need a touch of luck from a sticky gate but looks perfectly placed. MR WATERVILLE is a well-travelled stayer now with Clayton Douglas and he produced an eye-catching return beaten 0.41 behind Active Duty in the Colac Cup over 2000m. He was 4th in last year’s Brisbane Cup over the 3200m and is going to appreciate the rise in trip. SAMUEL LANGHORNE is a multiple winner over the 2400m-2500m trips in Melbourne and was good when beaten 4.1 lengths behind Stylish Secret over 2400m at Caulfield last time. HIGHLAND BLING is lightly-raced and only won two of his 13 starts, but comes off a solid effort beaten 3.9 lengths in 5th behind Ambassadorial at Caulfield. KOMACHI was too good for rivals winning the Premier’s Plate last time, CRIMSON VINE 2nd, while ISUSPECTJEU made late ground in 3rd. ARUGAMAMA looks a big improver down in the weights after running 4th in that race beaten 2.47 lengths. KIRKLISTON BLU was OK running 8th in the same race was too good in the Strathalbyn Cup prior, he draws to get a good run. ARKDAN was massive odds when beaten 11.37 lengths behind Saint George at Flemington last time and has jump-out well since. EL JAMES comes off an impressive 2.22 length win in the Naracoorte Cup last time out and he’s more than capable of stepping up to a race like this. Stablemate KHOR was another who was good late when beaten 2.66 lengths in the Colac Cup behind Active Duty. Symon Wilde also has MY UNCLE DID IT who has been runner-up at three of his past four but will need a host of scratchings to gain a start. COORONG TYCOON comes off a return to winning form after a last-stride win on the Parks track last weekend, he’ll need a scratching to gain a start but is a progressive stayer.

RACE 8 - 4:37PM Sportsbet City of Marion Stakes (Leg 3 Summer Sprint Series) (1200 METRES)
COMPELLING TRUTH has been in the money at all fresh runs and hasn’t raced since the $2m Kosciuszko, won by Clear Thinking. He ran in the G2 Shorts prior behind Jolliestar, prior was 2nd behind Angel Capital in the Listed Chautauqua and has won two trials ahead of this. SGHIRRIPA comes off a return to form winning the Listed Durbridge Stakes last time, KLABEL was 2nd in that race and looked to have his chance, he was a good winner in the Listed Christmas Handicap prior. LINGANI was beaten 2.86 lengths first-up in that race, JACK THE LAD made good ground, beaten 3.04 lengths in the same race. WONDER BOY is a talented 4yo who was a $26 chance when beaten 3.4 lengths behind Oak Hill in the G2 Rubiton at Caulfield last time out. He maps to get a good run. THUNDER SHOC is a progressive mare with a good record and she was impressive beating Ronny Bee here last time when she rode the speed and gets an inside gate. A SAMURAI MIND has two wins from three starts fresh and he won a Morphettville trial on February 12.

RACE 9 - 5:19PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1200 METRES)
MAJOR RUMBLE is a talented horse who was back to winning form at Murray Bridge beating Streetcar Apollo, who has won twice since. He was solid again beaten 2.02 lengths in 3rd behind Thunder Shoc last time, he draws a good gate and should take some beating. DAISYDOO comes off a good win here beating Bristler and was placed at her previous four. CLARENCE continues to race well and was beaten 0.54 lengths in 3rd behind Mic Drop here last time. STAR SIRIUS was OK last time beaten 0.91 lengths in 4th behind The Stalker. HOWL was OK last time when beaten 2.73 lengths behind Thunder Shoc which is a good form for this and he gets the claim. SUPER LAD resumes and won a recent trial here. He won three in succession last campaign and must be respected. FALANGHINA draws a good gate here first-up and has a handy fresh record. STARTIDE made ground last time at Naracoorte and was a winner here back on November 4.
