Chris Waller has scratched two key runners from Day 2 of the Championships at Randwick.

Star mare Aeliana is out of the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) for which unbeaten stablemate Autumn Glow is the hot $1.30 favourite.

Aeliana’s scratching leaves Waller with three runners - Autumn Glow, Lindermann and Wootton Verni - in the seven-horse field which also includes Sir Delius and Duabi Honour.

Aeliana was on the third line of betting behind 11-in-a-row gun Autumn Glow and 2000m specialist Sir Delius.

Also out of Randwick’s big meeting is Lazzura.

She has been scratched from the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf (1600m) where she was around $10 in betting.

Pride Of Jenni is the $3.40 favourite for the QOTT ahead of Waller’s Lady Shenandoah at $3.60 and Matt Laurie’s Treasurethe Moment at $4.20.

Bjorn Baker’s Perfumist and Ole Dancer from the Peter Moody / Kath Coleman stable are also out of the Queen Of The Turf.
