Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Caulfield Heath & Kembla Grange in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Cam Luke

CAULFIELD HEATH

Race 2 | 10. Ornos

Wouldn’t say he has been in sparkling form this prep but there have been excuses. Too far back last start at a track and a race dominated by the leaders. First time at the Heath but he handles Moonee Valley so I'm not worried bout that. Drawn well to be in a nice spot. Two back he comes out of the Platinum Guineas race where the form has been incredible. At his best on a good track and the drop back to 1500 works. Will be very hard to beat!

Race 3 | 2. Free Flying

This is a speed map bet as there isn't much at all between this girl and Morning Whisper. Free Flying should be able to easily lead today and control the race. The good track I think is where she does her best work as shown on debut. Jumped out well enough without breaking any records but certainly looks more mature (as does MW) JM can hold the fence and take luck out of the running and that should be the difference. Both go in the EQ coming out of the Merson Cooper where the form stood up really well. I'll have the exacta as well.

Race 4 | 2. Autumn Slide

Was pretty good last start in a tougher race and clearly is looking for the 1800m here. Drawn really well to stalk the speed (Winston/On Broadway but won’t do any work in run. She runs well third up and she loves the good track! This is easier than both runs so far this prep and the form has been good out of the resuming run. Houston claim helps and she will be very hard to beat!

KEMBLA GRANGE

Race 3 | 13. Katoto

Was decent on debut after being slow away from inside gate. She went up the inside and had cushy run but she will have similar today parked right behind the speed. Hit a smidge of a flat spot so the 1300m feels lovely second up. Extremely Tempted got hold of her on debut and she ran well in a much tougher race on Saturday. Race day experience will help and with improvement she will be very hard to beat!

Race 5 | 3. Lots Of Love

1400m to 2000m is a big ask but this bloke needs the trip. Will do no work In the run and the claim has him very nicely weighted. Is well over the odds so he is a nice each-way play. He might get tired late and if that’s the case, don’t jump off him, he will win a race this prep and I expect him to run really well here.

Race 7 | 5. Rosa Incanta

Missed the kick in the Spring Stakes last time in so ignore that! She has trialled up for this three times and the start that day might be the outlier. She will be fit enough for 1400m first up and even though in the bigger field I am sure there will be some pressure, there doesn’t seem to be an obvious horse to eye ball her.

David Taggart

CAULFIELD HEATH

Race 4 | 2. Autumn Slide

Hits this third up where she has form. Has been knocking on the door in mares races and she should find this easier. Draws well, gets a claim and all wins have been on good tracks, she’s going to be hard to beat.

KEMBLA GRANGE

Race 6 | 3. Mrs Maree

Bolted in her maiden last start and there is no reason she can’t win again as she now has the taste of victory. Draws out but Nash will lead and control the race. Back Nash win cash.
