By SENTrack

Cam Luke & Campbell Brown have your Tuesday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Warrnambool, Taree, Rockhampton & Illawarra Grange to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Cam Luke

WARRNAMBOOL

Race 4 | 19. Blitz Air (each-way)

Wasn’t too bad on debut before being tipped out in the spring in a decent race behind Jenni Ninja and Yellowjacket. Has had some time to mature and looked ok in a jump out. Perfectly drawn to stalk the speed. Blinkers off today and she does look to have developed a bit and is most certainly over the odds.

Race 6 | 5. Hit The Road Jack

I hate going against a champion in Stern Idol but as LKS Mackinnon said about Phar Lap 'weight can stop a train' and I think it will slow him today. Hit The Road Jack was brilliant last start over the hurdles and he has proven himself to be great over the obstacles and today he gets a chance today for the first time over the steeples. Like most of them he handles the heavy and he is the progressive jumper of the group and expect him to grind down Stern Idol late with 10kgs less.

Race 7 | 15. My Uncle Did It

Handled the soft well when chasing home Silvasista home last start. She is well weighted here but it is a step up in class. Perfect gate to go and control the race and the slight rise to 2350m won't worry her either. Linda will rate her perfectly as she always does and will be able to head to the right part of the track in the straight and she will be very hard to get past.

Race 8 | 6. I'mateez

No surprise he was brilliant winning 1st up after trialling really well and the step up to the 1200m feels nice. He has improved into this prep and the wider on the track later is probably a win with the gate. Was a little slow away last start so hoping it doesn’t happen here as being a little more prominent using the claim would be preferable. First time on the heavy always a question for many horses this week but he looks to have matured and won second up last prep (leading) and think he can do it again today.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 6 | 13. Belthil

Former Victorian who has ran well in better races than this, although there are a couple of nice chances. Gets into the Sun and has trialled well and normally runs well first up. Trialled well on his arrival to QLD and is drawn perfectly to be 1-1. Distance a perfect kick off point and AJ is the star jockey. Nicely weighted and if he has improved even a smidge on Vic form her is battling out the finish. Will go close!

Race 7 | 9. Boomtown Boss

I love the 1300m kick off after being really good late in his trial. He runs well fresh and with a lot of speed early I can see him poised waiting to show that turn of foot! The good track helps him and he is the horse here that has improvement in him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows it here and wins a good race!

ILLAWARRA GRANGE

Race 5 | 2. Laurel Hill

She always runs well and today there is no reason to suggest she wont again rattle home. She is ready to pick third up and there is some speed engaged (Chix/Miss Capitale) which will give her a chance. Now, she does get back which has led to her being 'unlucky' but the last time she drew a nice barrier was in town and she ran well in a much tougher race than this. Good track a plus, the claim a bonus and as long as the new track doesn’t play on pace, she will gobble them up late!!

Race 6 | 4. Zounaka

This girl has been in good company last prep and she has trialled really well ready to return. Perfectly drawn to be on speed and the good track plays to her strengths. She once chased home Aeliana in a mid-weeker and she looks like she has improved since the Spring. 1150m kick off point is smart and if she runs like she has shown at trials and brings her form from last prep, she deals with these!

Campbell Brown

WARRNAMBOOL

Race 4 | 16. Queen Christine

First-up today on home track for Wilde Symon. Had a good three run debut campaign before Christmas and placed twice, including on heavy ground. Should camp midfield with cover and be running home strongly. Trials suggest ready to win first up today.

TAREE

Race 6 | 5. Royal Teens

This horse is in good form with a win and a third in last three starts. Drawn to get run of the race, up in trip, down in class and one of the few horses in race that has won on heavy track. $10 is overs.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 6 | 13. Belthil

First up for new stable. Ex-Bobbin runner now with Billy Healey. Good first up record, drawn well and should find this much easier than what he was running in previously. $5.

ILLAWARRA GRANGE

Race 2 | 3. Whoa Nellie

Trialled up well for return to racing after two starts last prep. Can camp just off a solid tempo here and run over the top late. $2.30.

Early Crow 2
